In Panchayat 4, Saanvika AKA Rinki Refused To Kiss Jitendra Kumar: "Scene Was Removed"
Saanvika, who shot to fame with the Amazon Prime original Panchayat series, recently revealed she had turned down a kissing scene between her and Jitendra Kumar (Sachivji) in the fourth instalment of the series. Following her request, the script was changed and the scene was removed.

During a conversation with Just Too Filmy, Saanvika revealed she was not comfortable doing a kissing scene.
"In the beginning, no one said anything when the narration was done. But then director Akshat [Vijaywargiya] talked to me. He told that in this season we have inserted a scene where Sachiv ji and Rinki will kiss. Earlier the scene was different. Both of them are in the car, she falls down and then they kiss," she recalled.
Saanvika took a decision keeping the "family audience" of the popular show in mind.
"So I said give me two days to think whether I am comfortable doing it or not. Then I thought that 'Panchayat' has all kinds of audiences, but mostly family people. I was worried about how he would react, and I was also not comfortable. So I refused at that time. But when we were shooting, they removed that scene, but they inserted the tank scene," Saanvika said.
Saanvika plays Rinki (Pradhanji's daughter) in the series. The love story between Rinki and Sachivji, which was blossomed in the season one, gained a momentum in the season four as Sachivji finally confessed his love to her.

Sunita Rajwar (BCCL/ Aditya Yadav) Famous as Bittu Ki Mummy in the web series Gullak and now winning hearts with her bold portrayal of Kranti Devi in Panchayat, Sunita Rajwar is finally soaking in the recognition coming her way. In Lucknow recently, the Stree and Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan actress attracted a huge crowd as she got down from her car at the 1090 Chauraha for a photo shoot with us. Fans rushed to take selfies with her prompting her to comment, 'I never thought people would recognise me and stop to meet me. It's only after Gullak and Panchayat that this began. When asked if her recent fame has translated into money, she answers,'There are two ways to look at it. One is what we call 'good money,' and the other is where you've started from. Although, Sunita shared that her favourite characters from Panchayat are Prahlad Cha, played by Faisal Malik, and then Binod. 'Both had depth and so many layers to explore. Characters like the Vidhayak, Neena ji, and Kranti Devi are there, but Faisal's role stood out for its emotional range and layers,' she adds. The film's story revolves around a widow who gets inherits the job of a constable in the police upon her husband's death and is subsequently pulled into the gritty world of crime and corruption. Rajwar played the widow's ( Shahana Goswami ) more experienced associate in the film. The film was blocked from theatrical release in India by the Censor Board for its brutal content, though Sunita calls that unfortunate. 'The Censor Board found the film a little brutal. The complexity also came from the fact that the story involves two countries, and the director is a British Indian filmmaker. Maybe that made things more complicated. It's unfortunate, especially for me, because I played such an interesting character. I took up the role so people could see a different side of me.
