BringAltoidSousBack added: 'Spain really does make the best 'teen drama' shows. I also love that no one on those shows looks like a teenager (a point they made fun of in the final season of elite).'
It comes after another Spanish title based on a spine-chilling true story caused waves on Netflix.
A Widow's Game was released on the streaming platform in May and quickly made its way to the top of the movie charts in the UK.
The Spanish-language thriller, starring Ivana Baquero, Tristán Ulloa, and Carmen Machi, follows the investigation into the slaying of engineer Antonio Navarro Cerdán (Álex Gadea).
As police dig further into the matter, led by veteran homicide detective Eva (Machi), his widow's perfect façade is shattered, exposing a hidden double life.

Thriller series The Gardener also took Netflix viewers by storm (Picture: JAIME OLMEDO/NETFLIX)
A month prior, Spanish series The Gardener also shot up the Netflix charts.
Created by Miguel Sáez Carral, The Gardener follows a gardener named Elmer (Álvaro Rico), but he is not your typical horticulturalist.
Elmer isn't your typical horticulturist, though. He's actually a deadly assassin, with less of a green thumb and more of a red one.
Under the strict guidance of his controlling mother, La China Jurado (Cecilia Suárez), the pair run a successful garden centre and murder-for-hire business.
Olympo is streaming now on Netflix

Bonnie Blue and 'nervous' Ibiza Final Boss meet up as she makes wild confession

Bonnie Blue has flown over to the Spanish party island to meet viral raver Ibiza Final Boss after reaching out to him on Instagram and she has now revealed exactly what the encounter was like. Ibiza Final Boss has met up with controversial adult star Bonnie Blue after she flew out to Ibiza for a surprise visit. Geordie raver Jack Kay, who became an internet sensation overnight thanks to his distinctive haircut, had an awkward exchange with the sex star as he nervously hugged her during the unexpected meet up. ‌ Bonnie Blue, who has been booted off OnlyFans for her extreme content, is known to fly out to party hot spots to find men to sleep with and film for her work. Known for her rage-bait tactics, the 26-year-old was quick to jump on the opportunity to meet Jack, also 26, who had just launched his own single bragging:" Your bird listens to the Ibiza Final Boss ". ‌ The cringe clip shows Jack with his arm around Bonnie as he turns his head away from her. Another moment shows the duo awkwardly making conversation, standing noticeably far away from each other. ‌ Following their painful encounter, Bonnie said in a now-deleted clip: "It was my shortest video yet. I was shocked how nervous he was." The bizarre meet up comes after Bonnie sparked fury from Jack's followers when she sent him a cheeky message over the weekend, following reports that his girlfriend had dumped him over his partying ways, the Mirror reports. Making the most of his viral fame, the Ibiza Final Boss posted a video of him in the Spanish party island with the caption: "The final boss can't be slayed… your misses on the other hand? Her levels been completed". Bonnie was seemingly desperate to also profit off of Jack's viral moment as she replied to his post with a suggestive eyes emoji. Jack's fans flooded the comments warning him to 'stay away' from the star, but it seems he didn't listen. ‌ Bonnie's surprise visit comes after reports that Jack's love life is in trouble. His glamorous girlfriend Alisha Cook reportedly dumped him on his first Ibiza trip, just days before he went viral. ‌ The Newcastle lad is now said to be fighting to save his relationship with the model and debt collector from Co Durham. Alisha was allegedly so angry with her boyfriend's antics in Ibiza that she broke up with him before videos of his haircut made him go viral. The couple have reportedly worked things out since, but a friend of Jack's warned he was 'skating on thin ice' over his party lifestyle. ‌ They told the Daily Mail: "Alisha called it off when Jack went to Ibiza with the lads. They'd been together for almost a year and he was living at her place but things hadn't been right for months. "His car is still on her drive, she threw all his clothes in the back of it. She doesn't want him around anymore. She's had inklings that something was not right for a while. She just wants to wash her hands of him. Alisha is so beautiful. No one is quite sure what she saw in him." Join the Daily Record WhatsApp community! Get the latest news sent straight to your messages by joining our WhatsApp community today. However, it appears Alisha had a quick change of heart as she's now publicly declared herself as Jack's girlfriend since he rose to internet stardom. In a series of TikTok videos captioned: "POV: ya boyfriend's now known as Ibiza Final Boss," Alisha is seen cosying up to Jack, including clips of him kissing her cheek and the two of them partying together. However, the video has since been made private and Alisha is yet to speak out following the video of Jack and Bonnie.

Netflix unveils first look at Cillian Murphy in role that 'broke his heart'

Netflix has released a trailer and images of the Peaky Blinders star as a headteacher. Peaky Blinders and Oppenheimer star Cillian Murphy is taking on one of his most poignant roles to date as he plays the head of a struggling school in a new Netflix film. ‌ The streamer has just released the official first look images for the film, which is a reimagining of Max Porter's Sunday Times bestseller, Shy. Set in the mid-90s, the film follows a significant day in the life of headteacher Steve (Murphy) and his students at a last-chance reform school amidst a world that has forsaken them. ‌ The synopsis reads: "As Steve fights to protect the school's integrity and impending closure, we witness him grappling with his own mental health. ‌ "In parallel to Steve's struggles, we meet Shy (Jay Lycurgo), a troubled teen caught between his past and what lies ahead as he tries to reconcile his inner fragility with his impulse for self-destruction and violence." The film in question is Steve, which will air in select cinemas on September 19 ahead of its Netflix release on October 3. ‌ The cast also includes Tracey Ullman, Simbi Ajikawo and Emily Watson, as well as Roger Allam. Academy Award winner Murphy said he was drawn to Porter's writing, with the author also penning the scripts for Steve. He and Murphy previously collaborated on the stage adaptation of Porter's Grief is the Thing with Feathers and the short film All of This Unreal Time. ‌ On reading Shy for the first time, he told Deadline: "Max gave me that book in a proof edition before he finished it, and again it just broke my heart. "They're the sorts of things I love as a reader and as a performer, so I really wanted to do something with him." ‌ Fans have already flocked to the comments section for the official trailer, expressing their excitement. @KabirM-k1n said: "Looks awesome! Anything with Murphy carries weight at this point." Steve will air in select cinemas on September 19 ahead of its Netflix release on October 3

Netflix fans turn off 'incredibly disgusting' new comedy minutes in despite star-studded cast

It was created by a five-time Emmy Award-winning filmmaker Netflix viewers have reported switching off a brand new comedy film on the platform just minutes in, slamming it as "insufferable" and "incredibly disgusting." ‌ Released on the streamer today (August 13), Fixed follows a dog named Bull (voiced by Adam Devine) who discovers he's about to be neutered and has one last hurrah with his friends. He also intends to win over the show dog he is in love with next door, Honey (Kathryn Hahn) before his operation. ‌ The animated comedy was created by Genndy Tartakovsky, a five-time Emmy Award-winning filmmaker and the mind behind Dexter's Laboratory and Samurai Jack. ‌ Netflix's synopsis reads: " From visionary director Genndy Tartakovsky comes Fixed, an adult animated comedy about Bull, an average, all-around good dog who discovers he's going to be neutered in the morning! "As the gravity of this life-altering event sets in, Bull realizes he needs one last adventure with his pack of best friends as these are the last 24 hours with his balls! What could go wrong...?" Its glittering cast also includes Idris Elba as Rocco, Fred Armisen as Fetch and Bobby Moynihan as Lucky. However, despite the star power on board, it has failed to land with audiences right away. "Fixed genuinely is insufferable and I'm only like five minutes in," one viewer began, adding: "I genuinely hate this. This is just corny sex jokes. I don't wanna see an animated dog's b******* flap while he's humping a grandma's leg." ‌ Another viewer gave up after watching only the trailer, saying: "It seemed incredibly disgusting (like worse than Big Mouth) just from the three second clip I watched while hovering over the title. Will absolutely not be investigating further," while a third unimpressed Netflix fan shared: "I still wanna know HOW were the voice actors talked into doing this." Not every viewer had a visceral reaction to the film however. Jumping to its defence, one fan shared: "Just watched it. It's passable, wasn't as bad as the trailers made me think it would be but it's not a masterpiece by any means, great animation though." Speaking to Netflix's Tudum, Tartakovsky explained how the cast came to be: "Some of the material is a bit raunchy so we had to find people that were receptive to our sense of humor, and boy, did we. 'I remember a moment where Kathryn Hahn read the script and called us — she wanted her character to be as raunchy as the other guys. It was a great note. We then rewrote her character to be reflective of that idea and she absolutely killed it.'
