and Nicola Peltz celebrated a loved one's birthday over the weekend — as tension within Brooklyn's own famous family continues to mount.
On Sunday, June 8, the couple attended a birthday party in L.A. for Nicola's older brother, Will Peltz, who turned 39 years old. Both Brooklyn, 26, and Nicola, 30, shared glimpses from the Manifest actor's birthday bash on Instagram.
Nicola wore a sheer white top and a black bra paired with black pants and styled her hair in a half-up, half-down look for the party. Brooklyn also kept his outfit sleek, sporting an all-black ensemble. Will, for his part, donned a casual look, opting for a pair of jeans and a black T-shirt.
'We all love celebrating you willy 🥹🤍🫶🏻🕶️ @willpeltz i love you so much,' the actress captioned her post, which included multiple photos of she and her hubby at the soiree.
Brooklyn also posted photos from the event in an Instagram carousel. The cover shot is a snap of him and Nicola smiling and walking hand in hand. Another shot showed him posing with Nicola, Will and two friends.
Brooklyn seemingly enjoyed the festivities as he captioned his post, 'Such a fun night xx.'
Besides Will, Nicola has six other siblings from her parents, Nelson Peltz and Claudia Heffner. She also has two half-siblings from Nelson's previous marriage.
Brooklyn, whose parents are David and Victoria Beckham, has two brothers — Romeo, 22, and Cruz, 20 — and a sister, Harper, 13.
The family gathering comes shortly after Brooklyn and Nicola were noticeably absent from David's 50th birthday celebration in May.
A source told People last month that Brooklyn and Nicola didn't show because Romeo was dating Kim Turnbull at the time.
'Brooklyn didn't want to be in the same room as her, and he told his dad that,' the insider told the publication. 'But David opted to have Kim there over Nicola.'
A second source told the outlet, 'Brooklyn and Kim know each other from the past, and his family knows he's not comfortable around her.'
However, Cruz set the record straight on whether there was a romantic entanglement as he wrote on Instagram, 'Brooklyn and Kim never dated.'
Romeo and Kim broke up in May after dating for seven months.
Brooklyn and Nicola opened up to Glamour Germany about dealing with public scrutiny in their relationship last month.
'Ignore the noise. Keep your head down, work hard, be kind,' Brooklyn told the outlet. 'People are always going to talk. What matters is that we're happy together.'
'It's not always easy. On TikTok there are always random stories popping up about us. When I see fake news, my instinct is to shut it down,' Nicola admitted. 'But it's not worth it. I just scroll past and move on.'

Blake Lively & Taylor Swift's Friendship ‘Strained' Amid Subpoena — Report

Blake Lively and Taylor Swift's friendship faces scrutiny amid a high-profile lawsuit. A new report reveals how tensions over It Ends With Us have impacted their longtime bond. The update follows news that lawyers plan to subpoena Swift in the ongoing case involving Lively and director Justin Baldoni. Blake Lively and Taylor Swift's longtime friendship has become strained amid Lively's ongoing legal dispute with It Ends With Us director Justin Baldoni. In December 2024, Lively filed a sexual harassment lawsuit against Baldoni, who later countersued Lively and her husband, Ryan Reynolds, for defamation. Court documents revealed that Baldoni claimed Swift was used to influence script changes. 'Taylor and Blake have talked, but it's strained,' an insider told Us Weekly, adding that they are no longer in regular contact. Taylor Swift will reportedly be subpoenaed for the trial beginning in March 2026. She has attempted to distance herself from the situation. According to a second insider, 'Taylor was shocked to be referred to in work messages sent to Blake's director and to be brought into this.' Swift's representative stated on May 9 denying any involvement with the film, stating, 'Taylor Swift never set foot on the set of this movie… The connection Taylor had to this film was permitting the use of one song.' The tension reportedly began months ago when a photographer questioned Reynolds about Travis Kelce unfollowing him on Instagram. Kelce's action-fueled speculation about a broader rift between the two couples. Swift wrapped her Eras Tour, then began avoiding public attention and focusing on setting boundaries. 'Taylor's biggest issue seems to be protecting herself emotionally and legally,' the first insider stated. Lively has since apologized to Swift. 'Taylor and Blake have spoken, and Blake [said she's sorry],' a source confirmed. While Swift remains forgiving, the insider noted, 'They are on OK terms now, but the friendship is still wounded.' Lively reportedly remains hopeful for reconciliation. ‘What Happened Between Blake Lively & Taylor Swift?' Trend Explained Amid Latest Friendship Update

scored a major legal victory when a federal judge dismissed Justin Baldoni's $400 million countersuit on Monday, June 9. However, the ongoing lawsuit drama has reportedly strained her decade-long friendship with Taylor Swift. Baldoni's defamation lawsuit against Lively, her husband Ryan Reynolds, and The New York Times was dismissed by a federal judge, while reports suggest Swift and Lively's friendship has 'halted' amid the legal battle. So what really happened between Blake Lively and Taylor Swift? According to sources close to Taylor Swift and Blake Lively, the close friendship between the duo is yet to be rekindled. As per Us Weekly, an insider claimed that Justin Baldoni's lawsuit getting dismissed was 'great news for Blake' but 'she hasn't rekindled her friendship with Taylor yet.' The insider added, 'Taylor has not been in touch with Blake and still does not want to discuss anything to do with the lawsuit.' However, Lively is seemingly 'hopeful' that the duo can 'rekindle their friendship.' The source clarified, 'But as of now, there is still distance.' Previously, sources had noted that the Grammy-winning pop legend was 'shocked' when she got to know she was mentioned in Lively's work messages and essentially dragged into the lawsuit drama. An insider the time told Us Weekly, 'Taylor and Blake have talked, but it's strained.' The source further claimed, 'Their friendship is not what it used to be.' Meanwhile, Baldoni's lawyer, Bryan Freedman, has broken silence over Lively's 'victory' in the lawsuit drama. Freedman stated, Lively and her team's 'predictable declaration of victory is false.' (via People) For the uninitiated, a federal judge dismissed Justin Baldoni's $400 million countersuit against Blake Lively on June 9, dealing a major blow to the director's legal battle. Judge Lewis J. Liman also threw out Baldoni's $250 million libel case against The New York Times. The judge stated that Baldoni's lawyers can still submit the claims for 'breach of implied covenant and tortious interference with contract' by June 23. Speaking of the new update, Freedman said, 'This case is about false accusations of sexual harassment and retaliation and a nonexistent smear campaign, which Ms. Lively's own team conveniently describes as 'untraceable' because they cannot prove what never happened.'
