'Wanted To Be Friends With Apoorva Mukhija, Not Rebel Kid': Sufi Motiwala Breaks Silence On Broken Bond
Sufi Motiwala said Apoorva Mukhija has not defended him against her fans who keep trolling him.
Social media influencer Sufi Motiwala was one of the faces on Karan Johar's reality show, The Traitors. Premiered on Prime Video, the show brought together an ensemble cast of renowned personalities from the fields of film, TV and the internet. Through his participation in the reality show, Sufi forged a close bond with influencer and actress Apoorva Mukhija, also known as The Rebel Kid. However, their friendship has now come to an end.
Sufi took to his Instagram Stories and wrote, 'No more lies. I've received a lot of texts saying that I've taken clout from Apoorva, and I've left her. I've literally never collaborated on a reel with her and have been on her YouTube twice, both of which were her content pieces entirely."
He added, 'So no I'm not sorry I didn't use her for clout (incase u forgot we were on the same show without knowing each other I don't need her clout) I wanted to be friends with Apoorva not the rebel kid when there was no accountability constantly for how I was being treated I distanced myself."
He said, 'I even requested her to ask her audience to calm down because they've been abusing me for no reason. Sadly, this person who called me her best friend has no concern for that, or the fact that maybe I'm hurt. THAT is why I'm not friends with her anymore. Keep it cute, keep it moving."
He concluded, 'Idc about anything u think I'm a horrible person, ok. But I have worked my a** off to build myself to where I am, and I won't let a bunch of children discredit that by spreading misinformation."
Sufi and Apoorva became fast friends during the show's shoot and the internet loved their friendship. However, eagle-eyed fans noticed that Sufi and Apoorva no longer mention each other on social media despite attending the same events, including one in Australia. In fact, Sufi has even unfollowed Apoorva on Instagram. Meanwhile, Apoorva is yet to react to Sufi's Story.

Alan Cumming will return as his iconic character, Nightcrawler, in the upcoming Marvel film, Avengers: Doomsday. The actor, who portrayed the role in 2003 film, X2, shared that the reprisal was quite better then the filming experience he had on the sets of Hugh Jackman starrer. The actor opened up about completing his schedule on the film early, so that he could go back to doing his reality game show.
