However, neither club has contacted Stuttgart directly at this stage.
The Bundesliga side is said to be keen to keep hold of Karazor, who has formed a strong midfield partnership with Angelo Stiller in the past seasons.
It remains to be seen whether Newcastle or Villa will follow up with a concrete offer.
Karazor has been with the Swabians since 2019 and is under contract until 2028.

Sancho transfer: La Liga giants join race to sign Man United flop
Jadon Sancho continues to be a major cause of headache at Manchester United. United are currently in serious talks with Chelsea over a deal for Alejandro Garnacho, as the Blues are pushing to sign the Argentine to strengthen their left flank. Last season, Sancho was one of their main left-wingers. However, Chelsea sent him back to United after the Englishman decided against lowering his wage demands. Recently, The Peoples Person relayed a report claiming Juventus have convinced Sancho to move to Turin, having reached 'an agreement in principle' with the 25-year-old. However, Juve are struggling to finalise his transfer, as they need to offload one of their attackers to make space for Sancho. Amid this, a Spanish outfit have joined the race for his services. Atletico keen on Sancho loan deal According to German publication SPORT1, Atletico Madrid are interested in signing Sancho. It is understood the winger is 'open to a move' to the Spanish capital. Atletico would reportedly be willing to sign Sancho on a temporary basis. They are prepared to pay a €5m fee for a season-long loan. To facilitate this transfer, the United flop would accept a pay cut. Initially, United only wanted a permanent sale, as Sancho has less than 12 months remaining on his deal. Now, they are 'forced' to change their stance, seemingly due to Sancho's relatively underwhelming reputation. Sancho is one of the club's highest-paid players and clearing his salary off the wage bill could free up some additional funds. Dortmund monitoring Sancho Meanwhile, the German outlet adds that Borussia Dortmund are also following their former player. The Bundesliga outfit prefer to sign Sancho on loan as well, and are open to waiting until the final days of the window to test United's resolve. However, Dortmund's head coach Niko Kovac is not convinced that Sancho is a right fit for his setup. Feature image Richard Heathcote via Getty Images online polls Follow us on Bluesky: @

Six Premier League signings we can't wait to see debut
There are plenty of new faces in the Premier League this season, and we've profiled six stars we can't wait to see debut on the opening weekend. Viktor Gyokeres – Arsenal Viktor Gyokeres emerged as one of Europe's most coveted goalscorers across the last two seasons, after plundering 97 goals in 102 appearances for Sporting Lisbon. The Swedish striker has embarked on a fascinating career path; failing to make the grade at Brighton, before developing in the Football League and, lastly, exploding in Portugal. Gyokeres will be desperate to prove he can score prolifically in the Premier League, with Arsenal recruiting the 27-year-old to solve their number nine issues. Can he fire last season's runners-up to the title? Time will tell. Estevao Willian – Chelsea There are some in South American circles who believe Estevao Willian is the continent's most exciting talent since Neymar. That's a big billing, but the teenager has certainly shown his rich potential. The 18-year-old was named as the Best Player in the Campeonato Brasileiro in 2024 and shone at the Club World Cup for Palmeiras this summer. He's already caught the eye in pre-season as he looks to earn a spot in Enzo Maresca's side. 'It feels very rewarding to represent Chelsea, one of the biggest clubs in the world. I hope to help the team in the best way possible. I can't wait', he said earlier this month. Florian Wirtz – Liverpool Premier League clubs have more often created than signed superstars, but Liverpool's acquisition of Florian Wirtz fits into the latter category. Voted as the Bundesliga's Best Player by his fellow players in each of the last two seasons, the 22-year-old has decided to leave Leverkusen for a new challenge. A British record £116m fee has taken Wirtz to Liverpool, where he links up with the Premier League champions. A fabulous footballer to watch, he could star this season. Rayan Cherki – Manchester City Speaking of entertainers… Manchester City's deal for Rayan Cherki might just be one of the best value deals of the window. The Frenchman was snapped up from cash-strapped Lyon for just £30.5m after a season that saw Cherki lead Ligue 1 and the Europa League for assists. His ability to create chances with off-the-cuff quality will appeal to the Etihad. Benjamin Sesko – Manchester United Manchester United completed their frontline rebuild with the signing of Benjamin Sesko from RB Leipzig. The Slovenian striker has joined from RB Leipzig for a fee that could rise to £74m. Flanked by fellow recruits Matheus Cunha and Bryan Mbeumo, Sesko will boost a Manchester United side that badly struggled for goals last season. The 22-year-old combines elite athleticism with thunderous shooting off either foot. Dan Ndoye – Nottingham Forest After Anthony Elanga's move to Newcastle United, Nottingham Forest reinvested their windfall in Dan Ndoye. The winger was expected to move to Napoli earlier in the window but has instead pitched up at the City Ground for a £34m fee. Ndoye was the most fouled player in Serie A last season and ranked among the league's top players for progressive carries (4th) and carries into the penalty area (5th). His willingness to take on defenders will be fun to watch. Read – See more – Follow The Football Faithful on Social Media: | | | |

Bayern Munich successfully re-negotiate terms on Kingsley Coman's sale to Al-Nassr
Kicker reports that Bayern Munich attacker Kingsley Coman's move to Al-Nassr is now in the final stages. Max Eberl – the chief personnel executive at the Bundesliga record champions – has negotiated a deal that will bring Bayern up to €35m if performance bonuses are met. Eberl's previous negotiations with the Saudi outfit yielded a €30m sale that left the Bayern board extremely dissatisfied with their work of their board-member-for-sport. Given a second chance to make things tight, Eberl has managed to secure a small victory for himself. The FCB boss nevertheless still has plenty on his docket in the coming days, most exigently figuring a way out of the absolute mess that Bayern's pursuit of Stuttgart attacker Nick Woltemade has become. Eberl and staff must now decide of Woltemade is worth a €75m investment. The German giants get set to open up competitive play in a DFL Supercup showdown against Stuttgart on Saturday. Coman shall serve as the last in a long line of regular attacking stalwarts lost this summer. Thomas Müller and Leroy Sané have already left. Bayern prepare to bank on the potential of young attacking prospects such as Lennart Karl in the coming season. GGFN | Peter Weis
