When is 'Nobody 2' coming to streaming? Here's our best guess

Tom's Guide7 hours ago
"Nobody 2" sees Huch Mansell (Bob Odenkirk) exploding back onto the big screen in another burst of ultraviolence. After the first film brought him out of retirement (and landed him in hot water), our everyman action hero is working hard to pay off some debts...but all he really wants to do is go on vacation.
Of course, we all know that movie dads can't escape work that easily. Shortly after the Mansell family arrives in the rundown amusement town of Plummerville, trouble finds Hutch all over again — and hilarious, bone-crunching carnage ensues.
So far, "Nobody 2" seems to be impressing action fans. It's currently Certified Fresh with a 76% critics' score on Rotten Tomatoes, and has an even higher score from fans (89% on the Popcornmeter).
Having seen it myself, I don't think it quite matches up to Hutch's first outing, though it is a solid follow-up (with seriously fun action) that leans into the franchise's silly side.
If you're waiting to stream "Nobody 2" at home, we do not yet have a streaming release date for the action sequel. However, if you'd like to plan your viewing, I've made an educated guess at when and where you'll be available to stream "Nobody 2" from the comfort of your own couch.
If you're keen to see Bob Odenkirk back in action, the only way to watch "Nobody 2" right now is by heading to your nearest movie theater. And seeing as the movie only just released on Friday, August 15, that's not likely to change for a little while yet.
As with most new releases, the first way you'll be able to watch "Nobody 2" at home will be via Premium Video-on-Demand (PVOD) storefronts like Prime Video.
Get instant access to breaking news, the hottest reviews, great deals and helpful tips.
We don't currently have a PVOD release date for "Nobody 2," but I anticipate "Nobody 2" will land a digital release on or around September 15, 2025.
That's based on the fact that we've waited about a month for Universal's most recent releases to be available on PVOD services (both "Jurassic World Rebirth" and the live-action "How To Train Your Dragon" movies followed this pattern).
Similarly, we don't yet have a "Nobody 2" streaming date, but seeing as this action sequel is a Universal release, we can expect it to make its streaming debut on Peacock.
Typically, we wait three to four months for Universal Pictures movies to come to the streaming service. Thus, I predict that "Nobody 2" will come to streaming in mid-November, possibly on Friday, November 14.
That's based on the fact that it took "Drop" three months to come to the streamer after hitting theaters on April 11, and "Wolf Man" arrived in April after premiering in theaters in January.
However, both "Nosferatu" and "The Phoenician Scheme" arrived sooner, landing on Peacock two months after release, which possibly means "Nobody 2" could be available a little sooner, too.
Of course, this is all purely speculation at present, as Universal has not made any announcements about the "Nobody 2" streaming date just yet. As and when we learn anything, we'll be sure to share that info here.

MSNBC to chanbe name to MS NOW amid Comcast spinoff

MSNBC morning talkshow hosts Joe Scarborough (L) and Mika Brzezinski (R) seen arriving to a December 2022 State Dinner at the White House in Washington, D.C. On Monday, Scarborough took note of MSNBC's change to MS NOW. He called Versant "entrepreneurial" and said he was "excited" about the new changes. Photo by Sarah Silbiger/UPI | License Photo Aug. 18 (UPI) -- MSNBC will soon be known as "My Source News Opinion World" as it exits Comcast's family into the newly created media company Versant. The company-wide reorganization and rebranding effort to MS NOW arrived as media giant Comcast first announced its plan in November to spin off some of its most well-known cable-oriented outlets from NBCUniversal. MSNBC President Rebecca Kutler said Monday that NBCU execs decided the MSNBC's brand required a "new, separate identity." "This decision now allows us to set our own course and assert our independence as we continue to build our own modern news-gathering operation," Kutler wrote in a memo to network employees. MSNBC's partnership with NBC News will end but creates competition as it builds out its own news division in Versant's new operation led by its founding CEO Mark Lazarus. Initially, the plan was for MSNBC to retain its name but plans changed when NBCU opted to keep its branded peacock logo. "This gives us the opportunity to chart our own path forward, create distinct brand identities and establish an independent news organization following the spin," Lazarus told Variety. Comcast officials previously said the move will allow NBCUniversal programming to consolidate behind its Peacock streaming service. On Monday, Kutler said the future of the network's success was "not tied to remaining within the NBC family and using the peacock as part of our identity." She added the re-branding was rather tied to a "broad-based marketing campaign," which she claimed was "unlike anything we have done in recent memory." "While our name will be changing, who we are and what we do will not," she said. The Golf Channel and USA Network are to be under a new "USA Sports" brand as part of Versant's new changes. "Our commitment to our work and our audiences will not waiver from what the brand promise has been for three decades," Kutler added. MSNBC anchor Joe Scarborough took note of the changes on Monday during his daily morning talkshow. He called Versant "entrepreneurial" and said he was "excited" about the new changes in a video clip posted to Bluesky.

Amazon's Fallout season two heads to New Vegas

Prime Video has released new photos from season two of Fallout. Lucy (Ella Purnell), the Ghoul (Walton Goggins), and Maximus (Aaron Moten) return as a trio of Wasteland Wanderers whose adventures will bring them to the post-apocalyptic playground of New Vegas. Take a look. Kyle MacLachlan, who plays Lucy's father Hank, also returns to the show along with Lucy's brother Norm (Moises Arias) who looks like there's more evil afoot in the Vaults (duh!). Season two of Fallout is set to start sometime in December, which feels like a long way away but is definitely sooner than whenever the next Fallout game will show from this author will be added to your daily email digest and your homepage feed. Prime Video drops first look at 'Fallout' season 2 — and teases a major new setting I can't wait for

After months of anticipation since confirming its December premiere, Prime Video's blockbuster adaptation 'Fallout' is finally giving fans a first glimpse of season 2, with the official teaser potentially dropping during Gamescom Opening Night Live on August 19. Early images from the show hint at a fan-favorite location coming to life: the neon-lit, post-apocalyptic streets of New Vegas. Alongside the setting, familiar faces are back, including Lucy (Ella Purnell), the Ghoul (Walton Goggins), Maximus (Aaron Moten), Hank MacLean (Kyle McLachlan), and Norm (Moisés Arias), each seemingly gearing up for new conflicts and adventures in the wasteland. These new images tease just enough to give fans an idea of what's coming before the teaser arrives. And they aren't too surprising, given that the Ghoul and Lucy are en route to New Vegas, Maximus remains firmly entrenched with the Brotherhood of Steel, and Norm is still holed up in the vaults. Hank also makes an appearance, and it looks like trouble could be brewing now that he's cleaned himself up, distanced from his daughter, and is wielding the golden Pip-Boy. Most notably, we get to see the Ghoul in his human form, Cooper Howard, among vibrant settings in New Vegas. In one image, he's riding in a shiny car with the towering Lucky 38 casino reflecting in the window. Another shows him standing alongside his wife, Barb (Frances Turner), in what appears to be a lively bar scene. These images may capture a moment early in the post-apocalyptic timeline, showing Cooper and Barb together before New Vegas fully descends into chaos. Prime Video's synopsis reads: 'The new season will pick up in the aftermath of season one's epic finale and take audiences along for a journey through the wasteland of the Mojave to the post-apocalyptic city of New Vegas.' This shift introduces viewers to a city teeming with political chaos, dangerous factions, and a rich history rooted in the 'Fallout' universe. Plus, we can't forget about the iconic Deathclaws, which are powerful, reptilian creatures that roam the wasteland. I'm especially eager to see how the various factions influence the story in the upcoming season. While the New California Republic and the Brotherhood of Steel return from season 1, it's possible we'll also get a glimpse of Caesar's Legion, the Great Khans, and the White Glove Society (or at the very least hints of their presence in the Mojave). By the close of season 1, Lucy's father, Hank, had disappeared, leaving in Maximus' power armor and apparently making his way toward New Vegas. From the first glimpses of season 2, it looks like Lucy and the Ghoul are setting out to track him down. Hank's past was revealed at the end of the previous season: he was once a Vault-Tec employee, which connects him directly to the Ghoul's wife, who he is still desperately trying to locate. With the series heading to New Vegas, it seems almost certain that Mr. House will make an appearance given his casino Lucky 38 was seen in the poster and teaser images. In 'Fallout: New Vegas,' Robert House rules over the city's post-apocalyptic remnants. Fans have already seen him once before: portrayed by Rafi Silver, Mr. House was introduced in a scene late in season 1, when Barb and Bud revealed their scheme to exploit the apocalypse for profit. Macaulay Culkin will also appear in 'Fallout' season 2 in a recurring role, playing a 'crazy genius-type character,' though the show is keeping the specifics of his part under wraps. Clearly, there's plenty to look forward to, and as Goggins told Complex, 'real magic' is about to happen. 'Fallout' season 2 is set to premiere in December 2025 on Prime Video, and fans will want to stay tuned for a potential teaser during Gamescom Opening Night Live. With the series already renewed for a third season, there's plenty to be excited about as the adventures in New Vegas begin.
