Man arrested after driving 155 MPH on I-4: FHP
Officials said the man was clocked at 155 MPH in a 60 MPH zone on I-4.
Troopers said he had three people in his vehicle at the time of his arrest.
SEMINOLE COUNTY, Fla. - A 20-year-old man is in custody after troopers with the Florida Highway Patrol said he was going 155 miles per hour in a 60 MPH zone.
Officials said the driver, Octavius Hunt, was caught in the early morning hours on Sunday in a Dodge Challenger on I-4 near Altamonte Springs.
Troopers said he had three passengers in his vehicle at the time of his arrest.
Hunt later told troopers he was only going 80 MPH and was on his way to a friend's house, according to officials.
The man also will have his car impounded for 30 days, according troopers.

Many of the 200 arrests were in Rawalpindi, where supporters presumably were detained for violating the ban. Many of the other arrests were in Lahore, though it was unclear on what grounds. The crackdown on PTI supporters came hours after Pakistan's election oversight body disqualified opposition leader Omar Ayub Khan and several other PTI lawmakers following their convictions over their alleged role in riots that broke out in May 2023 after Khan's initial arrest in a corruption case. Khan was ousted from office in April 2022 through a no-confidence vote spearheaded by Sharif, the then-opposition leader and current prime minister.

Austin Robert Drummond was arrested in Jackson, Tenn. Authorities in Tennessee say they have arrested the man accused of killing four family members and abandoning an infant in a stranger's yard. Austin Robert Drummond is accused of killing Adrianna Williams, 20, James M. Wilson, 21, Cortney Rose, 38, and Braydon Williams, 15, who were found dead on July 29, authorities said. Their bodies were discovered after James and Adrianna's baby was found 25 miles away. Following a multi-day manhunt, the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation said Drummond was in law enforcement custody in Jackson, Tenn., on Tuesday, Aug. 5. Previously, authorities had obtained a warrant for Drummond's arrest on charges of first-degree murder, aggravated kidnapping, felon in possession of a firearm and one count of possession of a firearm during the commission of a dangerous felony. The victims were the mother, father, grandmother and uncle of the infant, who was found in Dyer County, police said. Drummond's empty car was found on Friday, Aug. 1, over an hour's drive away from where the four deceased individuals were located, the Dyer County Sheriff's Office said.
