A few years ago, during a conversation with RJ Devanggana, SRK revealed secrets to his health and said that being basic is the key. He revealed, "I naturally lean towards very basic food. I stick to two main meals daily — lunch and dinner. Apart from these, I don't snack or eat anything else. I'm not fond of lavish or elaborate dishes (mujhe pakwan pasand nahi). My meals usually include sprouts, grilled chicken, broccoli, and occasionally a small portion of dal. I've been eating like this every day for many years without much variation."
Not finicky
However, the actor was quick to add that he is not sacrosanct about his regime, and tweaks it as per occasion. "If I'm flying, or at someone's home for a meal, I have whatever they graciously serve — whether it's biryani, roti, parathas, food cooked with ghee, or a glass of lassi. I don't restrict myself when it comes to sharing a meal with others, " he added.
Sleep habits
However, the actor always maintains that he does not sleep for more than 5 hours a day, and that too he ends up sleeping in the morning. (not usually advisable) "I usually head to bed around 5 AM. Just when (actor) Mark Wahlberg is waking up to start his day, I'm wrapping up mine. On shooting days, I wake up by 9 or 10 in the morning. After coming back home late at night — sometimes around 2 AM — I take a shower and get a workout in before I finally sleep," he added.
He also added that he has really worked hard on himself, "At 55, I decided to take an unofficial break. With nothing much happening during the pandemic, I told everyone around me to pick up new skills — like learning Italian cooking — and to start exercising. I took my own advice, worked out consistently, and built a physique I'm proud of. "

Troll tells SRK to 'retire,' superstar fires back with hilarious 'tere sawaalon ka...' response

Mumbai (Maharashtra) [India], August 17 (ANI): Superstar Shah Rukh Khan once again proved why he is called the 'King of Wit' when he shut down a troll during his recent #AskSRK session on social media. On Saturday, the 59-year-old actor, who is preparing for Siddharth Anand's upcoming film 'King,' surprised his fans by interacting with them online after a long time. As always, the session was full of fun questions, heartfelt messages, and, of course, a few trolls trying their luck. During the session, one user attempted to taunt the actor about his age, asking him to "retire" and give space to younger actors. "Bhai, ab umar ho gayi, retirement le lo aur dusre bachche logon ko aage aane do. #AskSRK" (Brother, you've grown old now, consider retiring so that the new kids can move forward), the user tweeted. SRK, known for handling such moments with humour and class, gave a befitting reply that went viral in no time. He responded, "Bhai, tere sawaalon ka bachpana jab chala jaaye... Phir kuch acchha sa puchna! Tab tak, temporary retirement mein reh please." The witty comeback had fans cheering for their favourite star. Many praised him for his sense of humour, while others shared that Shah Rukh will "never retire from their hearts." One fan wrote, "There is no full stop in success, and there won't be. Work until you breathe." Another called him "the undisputed king" for handling criticism with such grace. Meanwhile, reports suggest that the shooting of 'King' has been paused due to SRK's shoulder injury. (ANI)

Ibrahim Al Faryan is a Saudi media personality who has covered six World Cup tournaments and holds an honorary doctorate in combating sports fanaticism/ Image: X Cristiano Ronaldo's engagement to longtime partner Georgina Rodríguez has prompted an extravagant gift from Saudi journalist Ibrahim Al Faryan, a camel, symbolizing both celebration and regional tradition. The gesture adds to Al Faryan's growing list of high-profile offerings, underscoring his prominent presence in Saudi Arabia's sports and media circles. A camel for the 'Great one': A personal tribute from Ibrahim Al Faryan Cristiano Ronaldo's recent engagement to Georgina Rodríguez has received global attention, and in Saudi Arabia, the celebration took a uniquely regional turn. Ibrahim Al Faryan, a widely recognized Saudi media personality, marked the occasion by gifting Ronaldo a camel, a gesture he publicly announced on his account on X (formerly Twitter). 'This is my gift to you on the occasion of your marriage,' Al Faryan posted. 'The news has brought joy to us all, great one. Your gift will be in Riyadh when you return. Congratulations to you and Georgina.' His message was addressed directly to Ronaldo, acknowledging the couple's new milestone and offering a gift that is culturally rich and deeply symbolic in the region. Ronaldo and Rodríguez have not publicly disclosed a wedding date, but confirmation of their engagement came directly from Rodríguez through a post featuring a large ring and the caption in Spanish: 'Yes I do. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like The 5 Books Warren Buffett Recommends You To Read in 2025 Blinkist: Warren Buffett's Reading List Undo In this and in all my lives.' The couple's relationship began in 2016 in Madrid, where Rodríguez was working as a sales assistant at a Gucci store. Ronaldo, then playing for Real Madrid, met her during a visit. As Rodríguez has described in past interviews, their connection was immediate, 'love at first sight. ' Since then, they have built a shared life spanning multiple countries and clubs, from Spain to Italy and now Saudi Arabia. Not his first gesture: Al Faryan's history of high-profile gifts This is not the first time Ibrahim Al Faryan has made headlines for a notable gift to a football star. In August 2023, two years before the camel gift, he presented Brazilian midfielder Fabinho with a Rolex watch following his debut match for Al-Ittihad in the Saudi Pro League. The moment, which unfolded at King Abdullah Sports City in Jeddah, was captured on video and quickly went viral across social media platforms. As Fabinho exited the stadium, Al Faryan approached and personally fastened the watch onto the player's wrist. Fabinho appeared surprised but appreciative, smiling, thanking the journalist, and shaking his hand. The watch was given in celebration of Fabinho's entry into Saudi football after his transfer from Liverpool. Al Faryan, known for his extensive coverage of international football, has attended six FIFA World Cup tournaments as part of his media career. Beyond journalism, he holds an honorary doctorate in combating sports fanaticism from the American University and is also involved in business management. His reputation in the sports community extends not just through his reporting but also through gestures like these that reflect both generosity and a strong personal interest in the region's evolving football culture.
