Two women dead and teen girl injured after crash involving cars and lorry

Two women have died and a teenage girl has been airlifted to hospital after a crash involving two cars and a lorry on the A96 in Moray.
Emergency services were called to a collision around 3.05pm on Monday involving two cars and a HGV at the junction of Kinloss Road in Forres.
Two women, aged 48 and 56, travelling in a black coloured Vauxhall Mokka, died at the scene.
A 15-year-old passenger in the same car was airlifted to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary, where she is being treated for her injuries.
The driver of the HGV and occupants of the VW Golf were physically uninjured.
The A96 at Forres is expected to remain closed for several hours, and members of the public are advised to avoid the area.
Sergeant Lesley Morrison at Road Policing in Elgin said: 'We would like to speak to anyone who witnessed this tragic crash or anyone who has dashcam footage of it.'
Anyone with information is asked to contact police at Road Policing at Elgin via 101, quoting incident number 2003 of Monday, July 28, 2025.

Hunt for vehicle after campervan driver taken to hospital following crash

A campervan driver has been taken to hospital following a collision on the A9. The crash occurred between Calvine and Dalnamein on Wednesday evening around 6.10pm and involved a white Volkswagen campervan and vehicle described as gold or silver. The 36-year-old female campervan driver was taken to Ninewells Hospital in Dundee following the collision. The second vehicle left the scene before police arrived. The road was closed to allow for enquiries to be carried out and re-opened around 7.30pm. Constable Mathew Ross, Perth Roads Policing said: 'Our enquiries are ongoing to establish the circumstances and I am appealing for anyone who was in the area and witnessed the crash to contact us. 'I would also ask anyone who was on the road around the time and who may have dash cam footage which could assist to get in touch.' Three men and a teenage girl are in hospital after a multi-vehicle crash in Fife. Emergency services were called to Invertiel Road, Kirkcaldy, at around 5.50pm on Wednesday after the collision involving a white Seat Leon, a grey Vauxhall Corsa and a black Toyota Auris. Three men aged, 64, 56 and 19, and a female, aged 17, were taken to Royal Victoria Hospital. The road was closed while enquiries were carried out and reopened around 12.15am on Thursday. Sergeant Lee Walkinshaw said: 'Our enquiries are ongoing to establish the circumstances and I am appealing for anyone who was in the area and witnessed the crash, or saw the vehicles involved prior to the collision, to contact us. 'I would also ask anyone who was on the road around the time and who may have dash cam footage which could assist to get in touch.'
