Alexander sat down with Ranvir Singh on Friday's installment of the ITV show, fresh off his high-fashion, headline grabbing red carpet outfits at the Cannes Film Festival.
Ranvir pointed out his choice of outfit saying: "Your fashion, and can I just mention it today, you've got your legs out.
"You're wearing shorts, which is the theme of the fashion segment today. Your fashion is so out there and free," she added referring to his Cannes outfits.
He thanked her and added he chose the outfit because: "I wanted to be sexy today."
"There's nothing sexier than a middle-aged man in a British schoolboy uniform."
Ranvir then asked the actor to stand up and show off his outfit, which he obliged by standing with his arms up and doing a little curtsy.
People watching at home reacted to Alexander's outfit on X, formerly Twitter.
"Alexander Skarsgard on #Lorraine was an experience.... There was no shot without knee in it, then he stood up... wow.... Someone forgot his trousers again. Seeing a theme here sir!" wrote one person.
Another added: "Alexandra Skarsgard is an ICON."
And a third commented: "'He's still gorgeous, regardless of his odd fashion choices."

Alexander rose to fame thanks to his breakthrough performance on HBO vampire drama, True Blood.
He is an Emmy and Golden Globe winner thank to his role opposite Nicole Kidman in another HBO drama, Big Little Lies.

He has also starred in movies such as, Zoolander, The Northman and The Legend of Tarzan.
The actor's new series, Muderbot, sees him play a robot who acquires human feelings, but must hide its free will to complete a dangerous assignment, but when all he really wants to do is watch futuristic soap operas.

Meanwhile, S Club 7 star Hannah Spearritt handed in her badge when it came to the Hostage Rescue mission. As she saw what was ahead of her, Hannah could be heard saying 'I'm sorry'. She continued: 'I'm done. I'm sorry. I'm done. I've reached a point.' It came just 30 minutes into the new series, where Hannah had said in her introductory VT how 'wouldn't give up so easily'. She told the camera: 'I'm pretty determined. I wouldn't say I give up easily. But whether I'll get to the end or not, I don't think I'd go on the first day as I wouldn't forgive myself.' In a major shock for viewers, Louie Spence also threw in the towel before the end of the first episode. He had failed the Hostage Rescue challenge after being partnered with Love Island's Chloe Burrows. After the challenge, he declared: 'I want to do an immediate withdrawal.' Explaining why he was suddenly quitting the show, Louie added: 'I don't have the conviction. I'm not dedicated enough.' Last year, John Barrowman quit SAS after just 32 minutes into filming. He dubbed the 'worst recruit' in the show's history after he told Directing Staff 'I'm done' adding: 'I just... it's not for me, I know who I am and what I'm about, it's not for me' following his arrival on set. Davina McCall ‘not afraid of dying' after brain tumour removed
In April, the 57-year-old confirmed her 'final MRI' had showed a colloid cyst, which she had removed in November 2024, is 'not coming back', after it was found when she was offered a health check-up as part of her menopause advocacy work. McCall told Fearne Cotton's Happy Place podcast: 'I am not afraid of dying anymore and it was the biggest journey of my life. From August 23 to November 24 was an amazing time where something changed. 'Begin Again, the podcast I started to help other people on their journey of living a life that they love enough to feel on their deathbed, whenever that may be, that I have no regrets. 'I have lived the life I wanted, and I'm not lying there going, 'I wish I'd done that thing, wish I'd done that job, I wish I'd not stayed in this relationship', all of those I haven't lived the life I want (things), and Begin Again is about just begin again and live the life you want.' McCall, who is a judge on ITV singing show The Masked Singer, said her only concern about death is how her family would cope. Speaking about the time her tumour was found, she added: 'I thought I need to get my brain in the right place and that was to a place where I could be calm, and what did I need to do to do that? Were my kids going to be okay if I didn't make it? That's all I really cared about. 'I knew Michael (Douglas, her partner), Michael's a whole person, Michael's Michael, but I was really worried about my kids. 'I went forensic on thinking about my children and where they were at in their life, what stage they were at. You're only as happy as your unhappiest child, right? 'I came to a realisation after about six months of cross-examining them about their life and telling them the whole time how much I've loved my life. My eldest daughter kept caught on. She was like, 'you are not dying', I was like, 'no, no, no', I realised that they would be great. 'They'd miss me and I want to be with them but they would be okay. I felt like I could go to sleep on the operating table and know that they were all here to help me, but I can let go of the outcome and it was the best gift. I am not afraid of dying.' After her surgery, McCall spent time in intensive care before recovering at home with the help of Douglas. She spoke about the removal of the tumour while co-presenting this year's Red Nose Day for Comic Relief and said it was 'the hardest thing I've ever been through'. According to the NHS, non-cancerous brain tumours are more common in people over the age of 50, and symptoms include headaches, vision problems and drowsiness, and some can be 'difficult to remove without damaging surrounding tissue'. McCall, the host of reality dating show My Mum, Your Dad, has long advocated for women's health issues, and has presented a documentary called Sex, Myths And The Menopause and another on contraception called Davina McCall's Pill Revolution. She became an MBE in the King's birthday honours for services to broadcasting in 2023 and was given a special recognition gong at the National Television Awards in 2024 for her broadcasting career. 'Mel loved the idea of a red dress — something bold, with lots and lots of shimmer — but it also had to feel light and easy to move in. 'We drew inspiration from a variety of dresses she tried on at Evelie South Kensington, then went back and forth brainstorming with Justin Alexander and his design team. 'After several conversations and sketches, the first design took shape. Mel gave us clear feedback on what she liked and what she didn't, and the final result was beautiful. 'Mel had such a strong sense of what she wanted — it was a joy working with her and Justin Alexander to bring her vision to life.' The dress required a team of six artisans and took more than 850 hours to complete. Her husband wore an Alexander McQueen outfit featuring a white shirt and jacket with black trousers and shoes. The London wedding saw Brown joined by guests including bandmate Emma Bunton, model Daisy Lowe, and comedians Tom Allen and Katherine Ryan. The singer was previously married to Stephen Belafonte until she filed for divorce in 2017 following allegations of abuse. They have a daughter, Madison Brown Belafonte.
