Bob Vylan announce 100 Club gig amid post-Glastonbury police investigations

The pair are being investigated by Avon and Somerset Police over their Glastonbury Festival set, which saw frontman Bobby Vylan, whose real name is reportedly Pascal Robinson-Foster, 34, lead crowds in chants of 'death, death to the IDF (Israel Defence Forces)' during their livestreamed performance.
The Ipswich-formed duo, who are completed by drummer Bobbie Vylan, are also being investigated by the Met Police for alleged comments in a video of their performance supporting Iggy Pop at Alexandra Palace in May.
A post shared by Bob Vylan (@bobbyvylan)
In the video, Vylan appears to say: 'Death to every single IDF soldier out there as an agent of terror for Israel. Death to the IDF.'
The new show at the venue in London's Oxford Street was announced in a short Instagram post, which saw them tell followers: 'We play 100 Club tonight. On sale now.'
Following their Glastonbury performance, the band have had their US visas revoked, ahead of their US tour later this year, were pulled from their Saturday headline slot at Radar festival in Manchester, and from an upcoming performance at a German music venue.
Their agency United Talent Agency (UTA) has also reportedly dropped them following the comments, and appears to have removed the act from their official website.
The group issued a statement last week claiming they were being 'targeted for speaking up'.
Footage from a performance in Athens, Greece, last week saw Vylan tell the audience: 'We are not generally hateful people, but we do hate war, and we do hate injustice, and I think a lot of people out there hate it too.'
He added: 'We will continue to fly that beautiful Palestinian flag, and nobody anywhere in the world will tell us that we are not allowed to.
'And we will not allow anybody to tell us that we're hateful people for flying that flag.'
Bob Vylan are still expected to perform at the Boardmasters surfing and music festival in Newquay, Cornwall, in August.
According to reports in The Times, the BBC's director of music Lorna Clarke was among a group of senior staff who have stepped back from their day-to-day roles after controversy over the broadcaster's decision to show Bob Vylan's set live.
Their Glastonbury Festival set came directly before Irish rap trio Kneecap performed on the West Holts Stage.
The group, made up of Liam Og O hAnnaidh, JJ O Dochartaigh and Naoise O Caireallain, are also seeing their Glastonbury set investigated by police.
Their performance saw one of the band's members joke that fans should 'start a riot' outside his bandmate's upcoming court appearance, and led crowds in chants of 'F*** Keir Starmer', after the British Prime Minister claimed their appearance at the festival was 'not appropriate'.
O hAnnaidh, who performs as Mo Chara, appeared at Westminster Magistrates' Court in June charged with a terror offence and will return next month.
Formed in 2017, Bob Vylan are known for addressing political issues in their albums including racism, masculinity and class.

'I'm a mum with kids and two XL Bullies – Karens need to stop telling me to get rid'

A mum-of-two has hit out at 'Karens' telling her to get rid of the two XL Bully dogs she has had since before her children were born – and people have sprang to her defence A mum is "fed up of Karens" telling her to get rid of her beloved XL Bullies.. Emma Davies has hit back at commenters who say the dogs are dangerous in a post mocking the suggestions she get rid of them. ‌ She said: "I know they look all cute and they look really happy and we do really love them. When we go them we were just a couple with no kids, we didn't really have any commitments or responsibilities apart from our dogs. ‌ "Then a few years later we got pregnant with our first child and that's when all the comments started. People saying 'are you going to keep those dogs when you're having a baby'. Of course we said yes, we were determined to prove everybody wrong." ‌ Emma went on to share that after she had her second baby, the comments continued. She added: "Last year we had our second baby. All was going well until the other day when Karen from down the street decided she wants to stick her two pence in. "She loudly announced to us that we are really bad parents by having those dogs in the house with our kids. "That really made us think that because we've got these two dogs and kids, we really should get rid of them because Karen from down the street told us so. Emma has decided she will not be getting rid of the two dogs any time soon – and shared the conclusion she came to after the run-in with the rude neighbour. She concluded: "In reality, we all know that nobody listens to a Karen. We're gonna stick two fingers up to her and we're going to keep them. Sorry, but how could you actually hate those little faces." ‌ Kobe and Luna, the two XL Bully dogs featured in the Instagram post, split members of the public. One viewer praised Emma for raising the dogs right, writing: "Those dogs are happy as anything and very well looked after to." ‌ Another added: "Dogs teach our kids so much more than Karen's can even comprehend. I would trust a bully far more than some smaller breeds." A third disagreed and argued the dogs are still "unpredictable," writing: "Your two kids deserve to be safe. The dogs look gorgeous and I know you love your dogs. "However, I wouldn't take a chance on them turning on the children. It's not just these dogs as any can be unpredictable but I agree with Karen." XL Bully ownership is now restricted under a UK law which passed in December 2023. It is now illegal to sell XL Bullies and those who do own the breed must have a valid certificate of ownership.

Just beforehand, he revealed that he was dating lingerie model Yasmin Amelia - also known as Yasmin Bennett. His fans on Reddit claimed that he was taken, but noted that he has usually kept his cards close to his chest when it came to his personal life. One wrote on the forum platform: "Caught me off guard because he is a very private person especially about his dating/love life. "Even on the pod he has expressed his desire to keep things private and off socials. "Often relies on the 'can't talk to women'/catfish story to dodge specific relationship questions." However, the star has now broken his silence over the timing, saying that he wanted 'full control' of the narrative. Speaking on the Useless Hotline Podcast, he admitted: "That's part of the reason why we wanted to say something. "Because the two options were, say something. You have full control over how it comes out." However, the star rubbished the infamous 'Strictly Curse', as he claimed that it would not affect him. Strictly's George Clarke 'gives away' who his pro dance partner is George said: "Whatever you say is basically how people find out, or it stays private." He then explained that he didn't want there to be any rumours or anything that could ruin his relationship. The star added: "[it] just sort of takes all the control out of your hands. "But then, I [will] just go on stream after that and be like, that's not true, by the way. "But, yeah, she's my girlfriend." He also said that his girlfriend is still her own person and is getting used to being thrown into the public eye. This comes after he may have accidentally let slip who he's partnered with for this year's series. On the podcast he also spoke about the audition process where he revealed that he was partnered with Lauren Oakley. He also admitted that the duo rehearsed for a full hour together, as he explained: "I've not met anyone apart from, I believe her name's Lauren, who was the pro that I met. "Because when we had a interview for it, so it's like an hour long interview, and then like an hour long dance session." Lauren has appeared on the show since 2022, and so far has competed with two stars – Krishnan Guru-Murthy, who placed 8th, and JB Gill last year. She took over from fellow pro Amy Dowden mid-season after she was forced to withdraw due to injury. 7 George was the sixth star to be announced to be taking part in Strictly Come Dancing Credit: PA 7 The star explained that he would address any rumours that come out Credit: Instagram 7 Fans on Reddit noted that the star has always been private about his personal life Credit: Instagram
