India will not be sending back Seema Haider to Pakistan for now. Top sources in Uttar Pradesh government have told CNN-NEWS18 that she is 'not in the category of people to be sent back" to Pakistan.
Haider, who had illegally entered India through Nepal, has married an Indian and is not here on an Indian visa, so she does not fall in the category of 'visa holders'.
In the wake of the Pahalgam terror attack on April 22, the central government had issued immediate advisories for all states to repatriate Pakistani nationals.
Haider's lawyers have been claiming in court that she has married an Indian citizen, so she is no longer a Pakistani citizen as a woman's nationality is determined by her husband's nationality after marriage. The Uttar Pradesh administration had also issued a birth certificate to the child of Seema Haider born in India, recognising her as the mother of the child and Sachin Meena as the father.
All Pakistani nationals, except one, have already been sent back from Uttar Pradesh to Pakistan, with CM Yogi Adityanath himself monitoring the process. CM Yogi had held a high-level meeting and directed officials to take immediate action against Pakistani nationals.
The police department and intelligence agencies have been closely monitoring the Pakistani nationals in UP. An extensive campaign was run across 75 districts for the return of Pakistani nationals.

Marines chopper spotted in Los Angeles? Video surfaces amid reports of fresh deployment
A video circulating on social media showed a helicopter, resembling the Marine chopper, flying over Los Angeles as citywide anti-ICE protests continued on Monday. However, neither President Donald Trump nor the White House have confirmed if the force was deployed. National Guard troops were deployed in LA over the weekend. This comes as CNN cited three sources to report that roughly 500 Marines based out of the Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center in California have been mobilized to respond to the protests. The publication further added that the Marines will join the National Guard troops. ABC News cited an official to report a much higher number. The network reported that 700 marines have been ordered to assist in Los Angeles and they're expected to arrive over the next 24 hours. The media outlet said that the Marines are from the 2nd Battalion, 7th Marines at Twentynine Palms, California, who US Northern Command had said Sunday were on a 'prepared to deploy status'. President Donald Trump was meanwhile asked if he planned on sending Marines to LA. "We'll see what happens. I mean, I think we have it very well under control. I think it would have been a very bad situation. It was heading in the wrong direction. It's now heading in the right direction,' he said on Monday.

Assembly resolution to rename Dibrugarh airport after Bhupen
1 2 3 Guwahati: Assam assembly on Monday unanimously adopted a resolution urging the Centre to rename the Dibrugarh airport in honour of the legendary musician Dr Bhupen Hazarika as the state prepares a year-long centenary celebration of his birthday from Sept 8. CM Himanta Biswa Sarma, along with ministers and MLAs from both the treasury and opposition benches, paid tributes to Hazarika's enduring legacy, especially his message of universal love and humanity through his creative works. Several members even sang his iconic songs and recited his compositions. State transport minister Jogen Mohan moved the govt resolution recommending that the central govt rename the Dibrugarh airport as 'Bharat Ratna Bhupen Hazarika Airport, Dibrugarh', during the day-long special session convened for this purpose. Sarma said the special session was convened because an Assembly resolution is mandatory for renaming any airport or railway station. "First, the state cabinet has to make the decision. It has to be passed by the Assembly and then, the union cabinet will approve it. This has paved the way for renaming the airport anytime now after Sept 8," he added.
