Jase Richardson goes to Orlando Magic in latest NBA Mock Draft
Michigan State star Jase Richardson continues to be a projected lock for the first round of the NBA Draft.
FOX Sports released an updated NBA Mock Draft on Saturday, which had Richardson landing just outside the lottery. In this latest mock draft, Richardson was selected the Orlando Magic at No. 16 overall -- which has been a popular landing spot for Richardson in the many mock drafts I've came across recently.
Here's what FOX Sports had to say about Richardson:
"Richardson has everything you want from a combo guard— the (ability) to penetrate the lane, find the open man, and knock down jumpers. But measuring at just over six feet at the combine, he falls just outside of the lottery. If he was 6'3 or 6'4, he'd be a top-10 pick."
This past week was the deadline for players to withdraw from the NBA Draft and return to college for next season, and Richardson remained in the draft. So there is officially no chance he'll be turning back and playing another season at Michigan State -- which honestly was the best decision for him based on the latest mock draft projections.
The NBA Draft will be held on June 25-26, with the first round on the first day and the second round on the second day. The NBA Draft will be televised on ABC and ESPN.

Gonzaga forward Ben Gregg to work out for Boston Celtics
Gonzaga forward Ben Gregg to work out for Boston Celtics The Boston Celtics may not be playing in the postseason, but they are anything but idle with the 2025 NBA draft coming on June 25. The Celtics have been working out prospects for the two picks they have, No. 28 in the first round and No. 32 in the second, and among the players the Celtics will bring in is Gonzaga forward Ben Gregg, per Gregg himself. Speaking at a workout for the Portland Trail Blazers, the Gonzaga swingman shared that he will work out for the Celtics on Wednesday, and has gotten feedback from a few teams he has already met with. "My ability to stretch the floor as a big man, that's been a strength of mine throughout these workouts," he offered, noting NBA-level defense is an area where he needs to get better. "Guys at this level are so fast and athletic," said the Gonzaga alum. "So just being able to stay in front of quicker guys has been the main thing for me." A rough year from beyond the arc likely hurt his stock, with the former Bulldog hitting just 27.1% from 3 last season, compared to 37.7% the prior two campaigns. A 6-foot-10 forward who logged 9.1 points, 4.9 rebounds and 1.3 assists in 35 games with Gonzaga last season, Gregg could be a sneaky good get for Boston as a developmental project for the future. He is not mocked in either round by most analysts, and could be a player Boston is watching as a player to sign if Gregg doesn't get picked up by the end of the second round, or if the Celtics trade back. The former Bulldog plays more in the midrange and cutting to the cup, but his past success from deep makes for an intriguing mix for his size.

LeBron James Takes Another Shot at Brian Windhorst on Tuesday
LeBron James Takes Another Shot at Brian Windhorst on Tuesday originally appeared on Athlon Sports. Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James' beef with Brian Windhorst continued on Tuesday when the leading scorer in NBA history took another shot at the ESPN insider. Advertisement When James was on "The Pat McAfee Show" in March, the basketball icon took a shot at Windhorst by saying, "This guy who says he's like my (expletive) best friend. These guys are just weird.' James told McAfee that he wasn't happy with how the NBA was being covered, which is why he and JJ Redick started the "Mind the Game" podcast last year. A day after James went on "The Pat McAfee Show," Windhorst said on "First Take" that James' podcast wouldn't draw a huge audience because fans like drama over Xs and Os. Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron JamesTrevor Ruszkowski-Imagn Images "Mind the Game" has over 71,000 followers on X and over 760,000 subscribers on YouTube. Advertisement On Tuesday, the "Mind the Game" X account posted a video of Windhorst's comments from March, followed by fans commenting how much they adore the podcast. James, 40, then quoted the post by saying, "Long ways from being done!! Sucks they have to listen to 2 guys who know nothing about basketball talk about basketball! Sorry Steve Nash." The "Mind the Game" podcast has been a huge success thus far. Redick coaches James on the Lakers, so Nash is now part of the show. It has certainly been strange to see James beef with Windhorst, especially considering that the future Hall of Famer has taken the high road for the majority of his career. Advertisement James is clearly upset that Windhorst didn't think his podcast would do well. Since "Mind the Game" is doing great, James is gloating.
