Eamonn's wellbeing was also a cause for concern after he opened up on the horror injuries he suffered while falling off a chair during his GB News Breakfast Show slot.
Now the former This Morning anchor has taken to his page on X to upload a snap from 2022, showing him standing tall and looking svelte in a suit.
Behind him, a silver DeLorean car with the registration plate ANZ 2047 was parked up.
In his bittersweet caption he wrote: Great picture popped up from 3 years but it's made me sad - I could walk."
The GB News anchor added: "Got to redouble my efforts."
One fan was quick to offer positive vibes and wrote: "Keep pushing forward, Eamonn. Perseverance always pays off.
"Wishing you strength, good health, and all the very best ahead."
Another urged: "Keep fighting Eamonn," as a third put: "Stay strong Eamonn, you can do it, believe!"
One cheerily posted: "Wolf whistle still got it Eamonn."
TOUGH TIME
It has been a painful time for Eamonn of late - who is also in the midst of a divorce from ex Ruth Langsford, 65, and a battle over their £3.6million home.
Eamonn Holmes reveals injured area after shock fall live on TV
The presenter, 65, ended up on his back on set just two weeks after he was rushed to hospital in another fall.
He was hailed as a "trooper" by his colleagues - who praised him for keeping calm and carrying on.
Speaking at the end of the show, Eamonn told viewers: "The chair gave way and I was lying flat on my back with my head hanging off the set.
"The first hour or so I was OK because the adrenaline kicked in, but then as the morning went on I felt the aches and pains.
Ruth and Eamonn's relationship timeline
Before the shock split announcement, Ruth and Eamonn seemed like one of the strongest couples on UK TV – even with their signature bickering style.
Here's how their romance played out...
1997 - The couple first meet after being introduced by mutual friends, two years after Eamonn splits from his first wife, Gabrielle, with whom he has three children.
1997-2002 - To be respectful to Gabrielle, the couple kept their relationship out of the limelight. Ruth told Daily Mail: "I thought it spoke volumes about the sort of man he was, the sort of father he was and the integrity he had. It made me love him more, not less."
2002 - Ruth and Eamonn welcome their son, Jack, to the family.
2005 - Eamonn finalises his divorce with Gabrielle.
2006 - The pair begin to host Friday episodes of This Morning together.
2010 - Eamonn proposes to Ruth while at the Cheltenham Races, after asking Ruth's mother for her hand.
June 2010 - Eamonn and Ruth marry at Elvetham Hall, Hampshire.
2016 - Eamonn undergoes a double hip replacement in the first of many health battles.
June 2019 - On This Morning, Ruth and Eamonn say the secret to their happy marriage. Eamonn credits "compromise, consideration and lots of conjugal," while Ruth said it was "laughter and an equal marriage".
November 2020 - Ruth and Eamonn are replaced on their regular Friday slot by Alison Hammond and Dermot O'Leary in a 'show shake-up'.
December 2021 - After a year of being moved to the bank holiday presenting slot, both Eamonn and Ruth left This Morning.
January 2022 - Eamonn debuted on GB News, while Ruth stayed with ITV in her long-standing role on Loose Women.
September 2022 - Eamonn undergoes spinal surgery after years of back issues including a trapped sciatic nerve.
November 2022 - Eamonn falls down the stairs of his Surrey home with Ruth and breaks his shoulder, requiring a new operation.
September 2023 - Eamonn has a spine and neck stretching procedure as part of his year-long recovery.
May 2024 - Ruth and Eamonn announce they have split after 14 years of marriage and a 27-year relationship.
September 2024 - Eamonn was spotted on a luxury holiday in Barcelona with his new girlfriend Katie Alexander. Ruth calls in a 'fierce' divorce lawyer.
"The worst thing is that two weeks ago I was hospitalised for a similar fall in the same area, back of my neck, head and shoulders and that's all come back."
He added: "We're going to have to replace the chairs because I'm not the only one to have fallen."
HEALTH WOE
Weeks before, he disappeared off his TV show again amid his split with ex Ruth.
Eamonn had a double hip replacement in 2016 yet has been suffering from chronic pain since a follow-up spinal operation in September 2022.
Added to this, in early 2021, Eamonn was rushed to hospital after suffering from "pain he's never felt in his life."
In addition to his other health woes, Eamonn suffered a fall at his Surrey home - which he previously shared with ex Ruth - which left him with a fractured shoulder in 2023.
In September 2023, he was seen eating ice cream in a mobility scooter while months later, he was spotted using a walking frame.
Eamonn was seen with the latter as he attended the TRIC Awards in London, sparking concern when he said he was "not OK."
Yet last year, he stood tall without his walking frame.

I was fuming when I found out why my family hadn't RSVP-ed to my wedding – now they're uninvited for being so petty
Other people shared their shocking wedding stories in the comments section SOMETHING FISHY I was fuming when I found out why my family hadn't RSVP-ed to my wedding – now they're uninvited for being so petty A WOMAN has threatened to "uninvite" two family members from her wedding after they complained about the menu choices. Stef explained that her sister had contacted their relatives to ask why they hadn't received an RSVP back from them for the nuptials. Advertisement 3 Stef was left stunned when she discovered the reason two of her relatives hadn't RSVP-ed to her wedding Credit: Tiktok/@stefjbaker 3 They'd complained about the fact there was no fish option on the menu Credit: Getty And when she did so, she found out the bizarre reason they'd delayed their response to the invite - despite the fact they insisted they were coming. "I know they'll be there, but I need to know their food options," she said in a TikTok video. "And the reason they gave for not RSVPing was there's no fish on the menu!" She said that she and her husband-to-be had given their guests a meat choice or a vegetarian choice for both the starter and the main course. Advertisement "If you don't like the meat, then you can have a really lovely Parmigiana aubergine gnocchi," she added. "It's amazing!" Not only that, but the two family members actually eat meat. "So my sister was like, 'Right, okay, so you're not gonna come to the wedding because there's no fish on the menu?'" Stef continued. Advertisement "And they were like, 'No, no, no, of course we're gonna come, we just don't really know what to say'." And when her sister asked the relatives whether or not they could eat either the vegetarian or meat option, they said they could, but "just really wanted fish". Watch the moment wedding guest couple get slammed as 'tacky' as he gets down to propose right in front of the bride who has no idea is was going to happen "Are you f**king joking?" Stef raged. "I'm sorry, but my wedding is not a restaurant. Advertisement "You don't get a full menu, you don't get to choose from 10 different options." In addition, it would cost Stef an extra £10 per person to provide a meat, vegetarian AND fish option, as she noted: "It's a 160 person wedding. "I don't f**king think so. "My wedding is a two day event. You're getting two lots of breakfast from me. Advertisement Average cost of a wedding in 2025 Recent research by Hodge reveals the dream of getting married can come with a hefty price tag, reaching more than £20,000. You're getting your wedding breakfast. "You're getting a pizza from the night of the wedding. I think you're doing all right. "It's a free bar. Sit back and enjoy yourself." When the pair admitted the reason they hadn't wanted to RSVP was because of the menu, Stef's sister told them: "If you don't like the food choices, then go f**k yourself". Advertisement "Couldn't agree more," she added. Sharing the tale on TikTok, Stef wrote: "Please tell me I'm not the only other person experiencing this level of crazy around their wedding?!" People quickly obliged by sharing their own shocking stories in the comments section. "Literally lost family members who threatened to not attend so I told them not to," one said. Advertisement "Then a 'friend' said she's not coming to my hen now because she had a disagreement over money with my maid of honour!" "What is up with people and fish?!" another exclaimed. "I was told I HAD to give a fish option. Excuse me. I hate fish so I give a fish option that means I the bride don't have a choice on the day?" "People are unhinged!" a third sighed Advertisement "We got married in Feb and some of the comments we got! The worst were from immediate family!! "One moaned about the FREE wine choices on the table… don't drink it!!"

‘I'm really weak' – Chris Kamara gives health update as Sky Sports legend reveals new role
Kamara is fighting against TWO illnesses KAM'S NEW GIG 'I'm really weak' – Chris Kamara gives health update as Sky Sports legend reveals new role Click to share on X/Twitter (Opens in new window) Click to share on Facebook (Opens in new window) CHRIS KAMARA admitted 'I'm really weak' after giving a health update while securing a new role. The Sky Sports legend, 67, was forced to step back from broadcasting two years after being diagnosed with apraxia of speech (AOS). 1 Chris Kamara admits 'I'm really weak' after landing a new role Credit: Getty The condition sees sufferers struggle to speak as the brain is unable to properly control the muscles used to form words. Kamara exclusively told The Sun last month that he had travelled to Mexico for treatment. He also suffers from dyspraxia, which affects his balance and coordination. And now, the fan favourite has managed to land himself a new role. For one day only, Kamara will be serving free chip butties at Camden Market with Burton's Fish 'N' Chips on Friday June 6. The surprise gig was carefully considered before being accepted by Kamara because of his AOS and dyspraxia. And he admits his health battle has left him feeling 'really weak' overall. Kamara told The Star: 'I'm choosy these days. "That's what's happened with the work because even though I've got the acceptance of my condition, I still don't want to put myself in a situation where it comes back to bite me. 'So I'm not like the old Chris Kamara who would say yes to the opening of an envelope. Fans have 'tears in eyes' as Sky Sports icon Chris Kamara reunited with old pal Jeff Stelling on shock commentary return What is apraxia of speech? Apraxia of speech is a condition which makes talking difficult, with sufferers knowing what they'd like to say, but having trouble communicating their words. The NHS says that the condition can be extremely frustrating for people. They explained: "Frequently the person with apraxia will have difficulties with conversational speech. However they may be good at 'automatic' speech tasks such as counting, swearing, repeating rhymes, greetings and farewell. It's usually caused by damage to the left side of the brain, such as a stroke. The condition does not affect a person's understanding and the symptoms of the condition can vary occurring to the severity of the disorder. The main symptoms are: being able to say a word correctly one minute and then not the next difficulty at the beginning of words greater difficulty with longer words aware of mistakes but unable to correct them speaking slowly being better at 'automatic tasks' such as counting and singing. "Whereas now I'm a bit more choosy and will I put myself in a situation where it won't work out alongside my apraxia, I have dyspraxia, which affects your balance. 'So I'm weak, really weak, and you know, going down these stairs isn't great. "Going up these stairs is fine, but going down these stairs, the brain tells you you're going to fall even though you probably won't, so you have to hold on to the banister and getting on planes and things like that.' On his dyspraxia, Kamara added: 'Walking is fine but the thing is if I trip I can't put my arms out anymore to stop my fall, so if I was riding a bike, when you stop, the brain won't allow your feet to go down and stop you falling. 'You just fall over the sides, it's crazy, but the brain is so complex, it's amazing. 'I didn't realise the compartments of the brain, where if you talk in an accent. So (for me) I advise speaking in a Scottish accent. "The flow is quicker than my normal speeds, which is crazy, but that's the brain for it.'
