What are you looking forward to for this matchup?

I really like New York City, but it's sometimes so frustrating to watch.
The midfield.
It's such a mess.
Now, The Keaton Parks, uh, injury, I think it's, yeah, it's, it's, it's huge, like completely drastic.
You're basically now depending on what an 18 year old Jonathan Short, who I love, but you cannot put all the weight of the midfield on him, right?
39 year old, 38 year old Max Maxi Morales.
So I believe New York City has to be or try to be all in towards Kevin De Bruyne.
I mean, he's in the family.
He's in Manchester City.
The last thing I heard and I already heard, I think he's very close to Napoli in, in, in Italy.
He would be.
for New York City and that's what you need.
Let's talk about the other side of the river, uh, New York Red Bulls.
This is a team that they do.
They miss Lewis Morgan, of course.
Like they don't have a guy that, that has that change of speed that now it's more like that you can just play direct or throw it in a space, yeah, throw into the space and then we can all set up and, and, and, and I think they're missing that guy, that piece when Forsberg is engaged.
Now when Chopomoti is engaged, you'll see the quality and you see the results, right?
But when one of.
Those guys, uh, have a, has a bad game or is not engaged or, or maybe has maybe just like bad luck on a game.
You see how the team falls and those players like Lewis Morgan that necessarily are not like big DP stars but are on that like next tier 2 or tier 3 that top, yeah, top 10 like max time that can make those um um impact on the game, not necessarily from that.
I think they're missing that.
It's always something with uh Red Bull and the Southern River derbies that they're, uh, I watch.
I think both teams level themselves up for this.
This is a part of it that I like in the culture of this Hudson River Derby is that these young players that never even even maybe played in the derby, come in with the the anger and and uh uh uh and sort of veracity of ferocity of like the, the history of the Hudson River derby.
And now, now, you know, we had, uh, last year we had the, the Hudson River Derby trophy, the, the, the third rail, they brought the trophy here and stuff like that.
So there's, there's just, uh, I think we're on the precipice of another like a big game this weekend.

Should the Chargers try to trade for Trey Hendrickson?
Should the Chargers try to trade for Trey Hendrickson? | Football 301 Yahoo Sports' Nate Tice, Matt Harmon and Charles McDonald look at trades they want to see including the Bengals' star pass rusher joining Khalil Mack on the L.A. defense. Hear the full conversation on 'Football 301' - and subscribe on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, YouTube or wherever you listen. View more Video Transcript Matt, start us off. Advertisement What's the one trade you want to see by the time training camp rolls around? I want to see Trey Hendrickson get traded because I don't think he is going to get paid by the Cincinnati Bengals. So I'd like to see him get traded and, uh, of course, I, he's got to go to a contender. This probably wouldn't happen because it's within the same conference, but I'd like to see him get traded to the Los Angeles Chargers because they're sitting on just over $26 million in cap space right now. So they've got enough to fit the first year of a big pass rusher contract extension. The Chargers had a lot. lot of needs coming into the offseason and they do have some questions along the interior offensive line. Advertisement That's still outstanding. But the other big need that I don't think they really satisfied this year was getting more juice, uh, in terms of their pass rush. They brought back Kul Mack. That's nice. He's had, he had a pretty good season for them last year, but they did wave goodbye to Joey Bosa, and I don't think they have someone just waiting in the wings there that can fill that. So, um, I do think that's a trade I'd like to see whether it's gonna happen or not. Uh, I don't say I have like all the little compensation notes for you, but I'd love to see that one get done. Hendrickson and Khalil Mack is like perfect as far as like synergizing two edge players. Advertisement Khalil Mack is just, I mean, just a badass on rundown. It's really good against the run, still a good sack guy. You have the passer, but then you get a guy that's a true more finesse guy, and Hendrickson that you have to passer. That's the perfect little pairing. So I, I really like this one. I'm not. Um, really wasn't even came to mind maybe for Hendrickson. I've, I've been kind of just see kicking around some of the teams that have cap space, but Charles, any thoughts on this one? Yeah, it makes it makes a lot of sense, um. It's just, it's just, uh, it's probably because the Chargers like you're in a spot where you, you probably need a lot of help if you're actually going to go out there and compete for the AFC title, but your quarterback is so good that it's going to be difficult to add, uh, the help that you need. Advertisement So I think getting someone that uh that already has NFL pedigree, like Trey Hendrickson, he's only 30, so you can still get a couple more years out of him maybe before he hits the wall. I think this makes makes a lot of good sense to add him to the roster.

Are Lamar Jackson and the Ravens poised to win a Super Bowl this season?
Are Lamar Jackson and the Ravens poised to win a Super Bowl this season? | Inside Coverage Yahoo Sports' Jason Fitz and Frank Schwab discuss the outlook for Lamar Jackson and the Baltimore Ravens this upcoming season. Hear the full conversation on 'Inside Coverage' - and subscribe on Apple Podcasts , Spotify , YouTube or wherever you listen. View more Video Transcript Uh, Ravens, I'm repeat. Advertisement I'm, I'm a lot of repeats on this because I'm, I'm repeat on the Ravens. I thought they were going to be a Super Bowl contender last year. I think they're gonna be a Super Bowl contender again this year. I don't think that's that complicated. Like I just, the Ravens are in that conversation of top 3 or 4 teams in the league. I, you know what, it's hard to do this because we're both high on the Ravens last year, right? And they played really great. I'm gonna say rise on the Ravens because I don't think, I don't think they're a Super Bowl contender. I think they're your Super Bowl champions this year. I think this Ravens team is ready to go win a Super Bowl. Advertisement When you look at how well they played late last year, uh, yes, they blew it against Buffalo, good team, like there's no shame in losing a Buffalo in the playoffs on the road. I think this team is gonna make sure they don't have those weird losses that they had early last year, like to your Raiders. I think this team. Just takes care of business from day one. I look at this team as like a 1415 win type of team. Uh look, if you, again, pro football focus grades, the number one quarterback in the league last year, pro football focus was Lamar Jackson, the number one running back in the league last year from from their grades was Derrick Henry. Advertisement They have a dynamic duo that we've rarely seen. And yes, Derrick Henry's getting up there in Asia, but why would I bet against him now? He just keeps, he's he's made of steel. He's just different than everybody else. Derrick Henry is still a beast. Lamar Jackson deserved to be MVP last year. I think he's gonna play at that exact same level this year. He's one of the greatest quarterbacks I've ever seen. The defense came, it improved by leaps and bounds in the second half last year. I think they carry that over. I trust John Harbaugh. This is my Super Bowl pick. I believe the Ravens will be the best team in the NFL this year, and I believe Lamar Jackson will finally win a Super Bowl.

Is this a make-or-break season for Mike Tomlin?
Yahoo Sports' Nate Tice, Matt Harmon and Charles McDonald dissect the Steelers aging roster and discuss the pressure on Pittsburgh's head coach this season after a run of postseason disappointments. Hear the full conversation on 'Football 301' - and subscribe on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, YouTube or wherever you listen. View more Video Transcript So I'm gonna say this is a make or break season for Mike Tomlin. Advertisement Do I think he's about to get fired this uh this next offseason? Not necessarily, but, like, enough of this already. Just like lackluster, double digit one and done playoff losses. Like that's the standard in Pittsburgh at this point. If, if they can squeak into the playoffs, if they can squeak into the playoffs, you know, on the back of like a team that nobody really believes in. And I'm not saying this is like all Tomlin's fault. In fact, I think we would all agree that he certainly coaches around some of the holes on this roster, but I think he doesn't get enough flack for the, the holes on the roster. Advertisement Like the guy has a lot of power. Within the building. He has been there forever. I don't love the way this roster looks on paper and especially when you look at the defense, like 4 of their most important players are probably Cam Hayward, Darius Slay, who was their only real consequential addition on that side of the ball, TJ Watt and Minka Fitzpatrick. 36-year-old Cam Hayward in his 15th season. Darius Lee is 34, he's in his 13th season. TJ Watt is 30, he's in his 9th season, and Mina Fitzpatrick is 28 and he's in his 8th season. Like these guys are all not, not necessarily. Like, again, they're about, they've, they're coming off good years, or at least Hayward's coming off a great year, but you just never know with guys at this point in their career and like there were rumblings that people weren't totally happy with Mina Fitzpatrick, or maybe some of the freelancing. Advertisement TJ Watt went quiet towards the end of last year. Again, a 34 year old starting corner across from the only good corner that you've had for the last few years and, and Joey Porter Junior. That's a little bit of a tenuous thing. So I just see a lot of ways where this could go wrong for Pittsburgh this year. And at some point, Especially if this is, you know, Mason Rudolph and Kirk Cousins and whatever is left of Aaron Rodgers. I just see a lot of ways that this could go wrong, and I think at some point, if this is a, hey, a maybe a 6-win team or something like that, and which by the way, I think this roster could be a 6-win team that does not look that good, then at some point we've got to like ask questions about the whole operation here and just enough of kind of chasing our tail in the same old thing over and over again.
