Shiv Thakare, who rose to fame with
Bigg Boss
and Khatron Ke Khiladi, wants to now show his acting prowess. But he admits that it's not easy and he is patiently waiting for the right opportunity.
He shares, 'When I thought of getting into this industry in 2017, I knew about the uncertainties, so I thought if acting doesn't happen, I have studied Engineering and will pursue another career. I remember coming to Mumbai from Amravati for Roadies where I was initially rejected. People didn't take my dreams seriously, but I never gave up. That mindset has helped me reach this point.
He adds, 'I used to do theatre earlier and enjoyed that, hence, I want to try my luck in films and fiction shows now.
In fact, I have signed two projects, but I can't talk about them until they go on the floor.'
