The ceremony honoured top-performing students from the ICSE (Class 10) and ISC (Class 12) board exams. Singh, the chief guest, awarded medals, mementoes, certificates, and laptops to five meritorious students.
ICSE school topper Kavya Gupta and Advita, who secured All India Rank 325 in NEET, were also feted by the MLA.
Singh also acknowledged the achievements of alumni such as Antara Howard, now serving in Uttar Pradesh, and Naman Tiwari, a member of India's U-19 World Cup cricket team.
In line with his emphasis on digital education, Singh donated five laptops and lauded school directors Rajeev, Sunil, and Siddharth Tuli for promoting education grounded in values and technology.

'One of Mother India's illustrious sons is back. India has found a lasting space in the world of space,' he said, while addressing the media on Tuesday as the Dragon splashed down in the Pacific. Providing details, Singh said that all four Axiom-4 astronauts will remain in quarantine until July 23 to complete medical and re-adaptation procedures. 'From the 24th, they will begin discussions with Isro . Debriefings with Axiom and Nasa will follow,' he said. Singh hinted at Shukla's return to India around Aug 17, after he completes post-mission protocols and discussions abroad. The minister said the mission demonstrated India's growing stature in global space exploration. "These are experiments that have never been done before. Celebrating the successful completion of the Axiom-4 mission, which splashed down off the coast of San Diego earlier today, Singh described it as "a moment of glory for India" and a proud occasion not just for the country but for the entire global scientific community. 'It's a moment of pride for the whole world and a moment of glory for India, as one of our illustrious sons returns after accomplishing a successful voyage,' the Minister told reporters. Singh emphasised the scientific value of the mission, noting that Shukla had conducted 'some of the very vital life-bearing experiments never done before,' marking a significant contribution to future space exploration and biomedical advancements. The spacecraft carrying Shukla, commander Peggy Whitson, and mission specialists Slawosz Uznanski-Wisniewski of Poland and Tibor Kapu of Hungary, undocked from the space station at 4:45 pm IST on Monday. 'Splashdown of Dragon confirmed – welcome back to Earth, @AstroPeggy, Shux, @astro_slawosz, and Tibi," SpaceX said in a post on X.
