A stunning location in the UK has been described as an 'underrated gem' and 'looks like it should be in a Disney movie', with its beautiful gardens and architecture
A hidden gem in the UK is gaining attention for its breathtaking beauty, with some likening it to a scene from a 'Disney film. ' Our country is teeming with quaint towns and villages that remain under the radar, as well as awe-inspiring natural landscapes.
From secluded seaside spots to lush woodlands, there are countless destinations to escape the city chaos and discover somewhere new. One such haven is Arundel Castle, situated in the picturesque town of Arundel, West Sussex.

The castle is nestled within serene gardens, complete with fountains and vibrant floral displays, and boasts stunning views of the River Arun. With a rich history dating back to the 11th century, the castle was built by Roger de Montgomery, Earl of Arundel.

Although it suffered significant damage during the Civil War (1642-45), the castle was meticulously restored and revamped in the 18th and early 19th centuries by Charles Howard, the 11th Duke of Norfolk.
Today, visitors can delve into the castle's fascinating past while exploring its grounds. According to Arundel Castle's Instagram account, it's one of England's largest inhabited and complete castles.
A TikTok user recently showcased the castle's grandeur in a short video, hailing it as an "underrated gem in the UK."
The clip left viewers spellbound, with many drawing comparisons to Disney. One user gushed: "That's stunning, it looks like it should be in a Disney movie. Another added: My first thought was Frozen cause it's called Arundel."
One person couldn't help but draw parallels to a popular Disney movie, remarking: "My first thought was Frozen because it's called Arundel."

The hit film Frozen features the adventures of Princess Anna and Queen Elsa in the fictional kingdom of Arendelle.
A TikTok user expressed their amazement, saying: "Wow! I didn't know [the] UK had such places. Time to visit!".

Another shared their personal connection with the location, commenting: "I am so lucky to live close by. I go every year, it's gorgeous there."
The official Arundel Castle website boasts that visitors can enjoy a "wonderful variety of landscapes and environments," which includes the distinctive Stumpery, the meticulously designed Collector Earl's garden, the Glasshouses, and experience "explosions of colour" along with "delicate aromas".
Originally a defensive stronghold, Arundel Castle underwent a transformation into an opulent residence for the Dukes of Norfolk during the 18th and 19th centuries.

Guests are invited to meander through the lavish state rooms, view the "individually decorated bedrooms with Victorian and Edwardian bathrooms", explore the Fitzalan Chapel nestled within the castle grounds, and more.
The enchanting "glorious gardens with surprises around each corner" have led to Arundel Castle Gardens being shortlisted for the Historic Houses Gardens of the Year Award 2025.
Arundel Castle is set to host an array of events throughout the year, including medieval festivals, historical re-enactments, and a grand six-day medieval jousting tournament slated for late July.
The castle will continue to welcome visitors until Sunday, 2 November. Tickets can be obtained online through the website or purchased on the day at the ticket office.
The cost for entry to the castle, gardens, and events differs.

Dani Dyer and Jarrod Bowen marry as she shares stunning wedding pictures at luxury hotel

Dani Dyer and Jarrod Bowen marry as she shares stunning wedding pictures at luxury hotel Dani Dyer and Jarrod Bowen have tied the knot in an outdoor ceremony and the former Love Island star shared the news with her fans on Instagram Jarrod Bowen and Dani Dyer (Image: 2025 Dave Benett ) Former Love Island star Dani Dyer has tied the knot with West Ham United and England footballer Jarrod Bowen in a beautiful outdoor wedding. Dyer, who rose to fame after winning the fourth series of ITV's hit dating show Love Island in 2018 alongside partner Jack Finchman, is also known as the daughter of EastEnders legend Danny Dyer. ‌ Delighting her Instagram followers on Saturday, Dyer posted a heartfelt photograph of the newlyweds walking down the aisle hand-in-hand, captioned "The Bowens". ‌ The 28-year-old reality star has given a few details about her nuptials during the planning process. Dani opted for a low-key wedding, and keen to stick to tradition, she reportedly stayed separately from her football star fiancé on the eve of the wedding as she stayed with her parents, Danny and Jo. The Mirror reports the couple went for a pastel colour scheme at the £500-a-night Langley Hotel in Buckinghamshire, where the nuptials took place. The luxury hotel was originally built as a hunting lodge for the third Duke of Marlborough and includes 150 acres of formal gardens and parklands, originally designed by Lancelot 'Capability' Brown, a serpentine lake and an outdoor pool. It is close to Pinewood Studios and just 40 minutes drive from central London, making it a favourite with film stars, including Tom Cruise, Angelina Jolie and Jeff Goldblum. ‌ Content cannot be displayed without consent Clearly a fan of Bridgerton, the TV star's nuptials were said to be themed around the Netflix hit, with lots of violins there to perform music. And while the celebrity couple's fan base is large, the guest list for their VIP wedding has been kept small as the couple are said to have invited only 50 guests to celebrate their big day. ‌ In May 2023, the couple celebrated the arrival of their twins, Summer and Star, and shared the sweet update of their engagement in July the previous year on Instagram with a simple yet profound caption reading "us forever" with a ring emoji for emphasis. She also shares a child, Santiago – who she calls Santi, with her ex-Sammy Kimmence, who she dated before appearing on Love Island and after her split from Finchman. Dyer later separated from Kimmence, who was jailed for three-and-a-half years in 2021 for defrauding two pensioners out of more than £34,000. ‌ Danny Dyer and Dani Dyer (Image: PA Wire/PA Images ) Besides her reality TV fame, Dyer has featured on Channel 4's Celebrity Gogglebox with her father, providing laughs and sharp critiques. In a 2021 episode of EastEnders, Dani made a memorable guest appearance as Jeanette, a pregnant taxi driver, in scenes with her actual father's character, Mick Carter. Article continues below Looking forward, Dyer is set to appear in an exciting new Sky TV series, working with her father. They will be taking on a charming investment project running their own caravan park on the Isle of Sheppey in Kent, an adventure that fans can follow in "The Dyers' Caravan Park".

However, sports fans should be cautious of TV Licensing rules. Households require a TV Licence to watch live content - even through a streaming platform like Disney+. And being caught without a TV Licence can result in a hefty £1,000 fine. Advertisement On-demand content - shows you can watch at any given moment - don't require the extra fee. It only applies if you tune into live shows and matches. In the days when streaming services hosted exclusively on-demand content, they were safe to use without a TV Licence. But with an increasing number of streamers picking up live TV content, particularly in the realm of sports, the chances of households breaking TV licensing rules has jumped. Advertisement Households were given similar warning last year, when Netflix took over rights to WWE with live broadcasts taking place on the app more than ever before. TV Licensing previously reiterated the rules to The Sun in November ahead of Netflix's Jake Paul vs Mike Tyson live fight. "A TV Licence is needed to watch live content on streaming services, watch or record a TV programme on any channel and when using BBC iPlayer," a rep said at the time. "Further information is available on the TV Licensing website or via the customer services team, who can help with any queries."
