I'm Tinder's most swiped man with 48,000 likes - but I found love offline
Stefan-Pierre Tomlin, 34, from Greenwich, London, first downloaded the dating app in June 2015 after 'struggling to find love'.
But two years later, Stefan, who owns a match-making company, Celebrity Love Coach, 'became an addict' - averaging over three hours a day swiping through potential matches.
He eventually earned the title 'Mr Tinder' in 2017, when it was revealed that more users - 14,600 to be exact - had swiped right on him than anyone else.
Despite hordes of potential suitors, the male model 'never found love' on any subsequent dates - and said he much prefers to find the one the old-fashioned way, in person.
Stefan, who is also a trained pilot, has been open about his previous relationships, which 'have never worked out'.
But he now admits he's been 'left love-struck' after a 'mates' night-out in Soho, London, in October 2024, led him to find 'Mrs Right' - finance manager, Vicky Batsford, 43, from Essex, who took his 'breath away'.
The meet-cue was 'unexpected', but nine months on, the pair have become official and are 'smitten with each other'.
Stefan said: 'I swiped right on her in real life. She stole my attention straight away and everything was easy and natural with her.
'At one point, I was getting 40 matches a day on Tinder and had to mute the app. Since then, online dating has never really worked for me.
'Meeting Vicky, I knew things would be different. She's organised, humble, and saw me beyond the Mr Tinder façade. She's the perfect woman for me and I'm completely off-limits now.'
Stefan was on a 'spontaneous night out' with friends when he first bumped into Vicky in October 2024.
It came following a nine-year stint on Tinder that saw him gain over 48,000 potential 'suitors to choose from', he claimed.
'She was wearing a fitted black dress and looked super fun,' he said, adding, 'We made eye contact and both smiled while crossing paths.
'I knew I had to talk to her and we exchanged numbers that night. We quickly became friends and things lifted off from there.'
Stefan said Vicky had 'no idea' he was 'Mr Tinder' when they first met. It was only later that week, after googling his name, she became aware and was quite 'intimidated'.
'At first, it was a massive eye roll,' Vicky, from Essex, said. She added, 'But I didn't think anything of it at first, as we were just friends.'
'But after a few more drinks over the following weeks, we chatted more and I found him incredibly interesting. He soon swooned me over.'
Stefan had used Tinder to go on over 15 dates - four of which resulted in relationships during his nine-year spell.
But he 'struggled' to meet 'the one', admitting that amongst his 40 matches per day, less than five per cent would lead to a conversation - which only worsened once he 'shot to fame' in 2017, saying that it led to 'inauthentic interactions'.
'My success with dating apps plummeted after I became Mr Tinder,' he said, adding, 'It's just become a game where people 'swipe on me' just because of who I am.
'So finding love the old-fashioned way was what I heavily relied on and I'm chuffed to say it has worked.
'It was probably in my favour that Vicky perhaps didn't know who I was off the bat.'
Although Vicky admitted there were 'clear differences' in who they are, she 'couldn't be happier' to call him her boyfriend.
'We come from very different worlds,' she said, adding, 'I'm way more structured and disciplined - and he's a lot more spontaneous.
'But I think that creates a good balance and a reason why we work so well together. We're super happy.'
Earlier this month, Stefan and Vicky became official and they are planning to move in with each other soon.
Stefan said 'marriage is definitely in the future' with Vicky - whom he said 'truly feels like the real deal'.
Drawing on his experience of the dating world, Stefan also established an online match-making site, Celebrity Love Coach, in 2021 - to help others find their other half - and has since set up 52 couples.
'I found my love and I've always wanted to help others find theirs,' he said.
'The dating world is always changing and it's easy to lose hope. But there is love for anyone who is willing to put themselves outside their comfort zone.
'In the past, I've dated models, nurses - and idiots. However, things are different now with my new partner and we live a stable life. It's something I've never had before. But I'm willing to keep it for as long as I can.'
It comes after an influencer revealed a 'hack' she claims will get you 'better matches' on popular dating app, Hinge.
Iman, from southern England, has thousands of followers on TikTok, where she often shares snippets from her dating life.
She uploaded a clip and claimed she had found a way to ensure that people get the 'best pick of the bunch' on Hinge, which is available in the UK, Canada, India, and Australia.
The content creator said the tip meant that the people she is now getting are a 'level up' from the profiles she would usually see.
Iman told her followers to go to the settings tab and scroll down until they see the 'delete or pause account' tab.
The app will then ask why the user is leaving and give them four options to choose from.
These include 'I met someone,' 'I need a break from dating apps,' or 'I'm not happy with my Hinge experience'.
Iman says you must choose the one that says 'I am not happy with my Hinge experience' for the hack to work.
She then said a pop-up will come up which will say 'How about a fresh start?' The app then goes on to say that it will refresh your feed while keeping existing matches.
Iman said to proceed and click 'try it,' and give it a few minutes for your Hinge algorithm to reset itself.
'The type of people you get shown are completely different and in my experience, they have been better,' she said.
'You can actually do it more than once, I did it twice in a row and it's like a different Hinge.
'Have I met anyone on there? No. But scrolling on there is more fun.'
Some users thanked Iman for her tip, as they reported having better feeds once they followed her instructions.
One commented: 'Yeah just did this and I've got loads of new people who actually live near by now and not on the east midlands which was where they were all from previously!'

Coronation Street quietly recast show legend's daughter – just weeks after original star ‘disappeared' from soap
CORONATION Street have quietly recast the daughter of a show legend. The character has featured for over a decade - but will soon have a brand new face. 3 3 Born in 2013, Lily Platt is the daughter of David Platt (Jack P. Shepherd) and his late wife Kylie (Paula Lane). Young actress Brooke Malonie had been playing the character since June 2016. She has been absent in recent weeks and a new young actress will be in place for her return this week. It comes ahead of a huge new storyline involving the show's pre-teen characters. According to spoilers, Grace Ashcroft-Gardner is taking over the role of Lily. The actress will make her on screen debut later this week as Lily and her cousin Sam (Jude Riordan) take centre stage in a dramatic new plot. The Sun has contacted Coronation Street for comment. Lily recently featured in a dramatic storyline which saw a fire tear through the Platts' home. Viewers watched on as one of Coronation Street's most iconic homes was set ablaze and engulfed in flames in explosive scenes. The inferno came after David stole money from the notorious gangster Harvey Gaskell. Coronation Street quietly recast show legend's daughter - just weeks after original star 'disappeared' from soap Harvey's thugs were out for David after taking money which belonged to him - putting his whole family in danger. Prior to this, Lily had been given a threatening note while Shona was kidnapped. It's not the first time that a Platt family member has been recast in recent months. Carter-J Murphy took over as Harry Platt, son of Sarah Platt (Tina O'Brien). Soap characters who've been recast Soap operas are staple viewing for many people, but even some of the most famous characters have been played by different actors. Here are some examples from over the years. Coronation Street Tracy Barlow: Kate Ford took on the role of Corrie legend Tracy Barlow in 2002. Before Kate, three other actresses had played Tracy - most notably Dawn Acton from 1988 to 1999. Nick Tilsley: Ben Price has been playing Gail's oldest child in 2009, but the former Footballers' Wives star is the third actor to take on the part. Sarah Platt: Although Tina O'Brien debuted as Sarah Platt in 1999, she is the third actress who has played the iconic role of Sarah Platt. David Platt: Completing the line-up of Gail's children, David was initially played by Thomas Ormson for a decade before Jack P. Shepherd took over. Daniel Osbourne: For almost a decade, the role of Ken Barlow's son Daniel has been portrayed by actor Rob Mallard. Before Rob joined, two other actors had previously played Daniel. Bethany Platt: Fans know Lucy Fallon as Bethany nowadays but before her, three other actresses had stepped into the character's shoes. Kirk Sutherland: Before Andy Whyment took on the role of Kirk, he played by an uncredited actor in his very first appearance. Todd Grimshaw: Gareth Pierce stepped into the role of Todd back in 2020, becoming the second performer to play this part. Summer Spellman: Harriet Bibby became the second actress to play Summer, taking over the role from Matilda Freeman in 2020. Ryan Connor: Ryan Prescott currently plays the long-running character, but Ben Thompson and Sol Heras had earlier portrayed the role. EastEnders Martin Fowler: Although Martin was the first baby born on-screen in EastEnders, he hasn't always been played by the same person. His current portrayer, James Bye, is the third actor to star as the character. Peter Beale: Seven actors have portrayed Ian Beale's elder son, with the current actor, Thomas Law, in his second stint as the character. Ben Mitchell: Ben has been played by a total of six actors - with Max Bowden bowing out of the role in March 2024. Bobby Beale: Before Clay Milner Russell, Ian's younger son had been played by four other actors. Freddie Slater: Bobby's best mate, Freddie Slater, had been previously played by twins Alex and Tom Kilby before Bobby Brazier took over in 2022. Chelsea Fox: Former Coronation Street actress Zaraah Abrahams took over the role of Chelsea in 2020. The character had been first played by Tiana Benjamin from 2006 to 2010. Lauren Branning: Jacqueline Jossa took on the role of Lauren in 2010, succeeding Madeline Duggan who'd played her from 2006 to 2010. Johnny Carter: Johnny has been played by three actors since debuting in 2013 - most recently, Charlie Suff has taken on the role. Speaking to press about the change-up, Jack P Shepherd said: "They've just recast the lad who plays Harry. "Carter is very, very confident." He succeeded twins Freddie and Isaac Rhodes, who'd played Harry since 2017. 3

Watching my best pal romp with my hubby turns me on – I listen to their moans of pleasure, it makes my marriage better
IT looks like a complicated four-way relationship. But these two couples say their bond is so close they are totally happy swapping partners for sex. IT'S 'double date' night for best pals Amy Barr and Emily Spice – and together they crack open a bottle of wine with their husbands. Like any other close friends, the women share everything from make-up and clothes to their deepest secrets. But it doesn't end there, because they split one more thing that most women would never dream of — sex with their fellas. After watching a film, Amy, 43, sidles up to Emily's husband Darren. She strokes his thigh and, rather than being angry, Emily, 31, sees this as a cue to kiss Amy's other half Ben full on the lips. Sparks fly and it isn't long before Amy leads Darren, 33, by the hand into a different room, while Emily and Ben follow their lead and head to another. Soon, both 'couples' are having sex — hearing their spouses enjoying themselves from afar only adds to this foursome's fun. 'Strong marriages' Emily explains: 'It's incredibly sexy, you get to have the other person all to yourself, but with the added excitement of hearing your husband having fun and letting your imagination run wild about what he's doing. And it's even naughtier than witnessing it.' This rather unusual arrangement started three years ago, and Amy and Emily have swapped husbands regularly since — there's not a whisper of envy among them. Amy — who lives with wind turbine engineer Ben, 41, and her teen children near Margate, Kent — says: 'People ask if we worry that we'll fall for each other's husbands, but of course we won't. This is just fun and sex. I've never had a friend like Emily before — she's 'my person'. Watch the moment swinger strips off for romp with stranger - while husband awkwardly chats about pizza 'We both have strong marriages. It's easy to compartmentalise it. Darren and I are completely incompatible. I'd drive him mad in a relationship — I'm always late to everything and he loves a routine. 'And Ben and Emily are far too similar to each other — they're both quite headstrong. Our marriages work just the way we are. 'Swapping partners enhances everything. We're swingers anyway, but it's only with Darren and Emily that we do it in separate rooms — that's how much we trust them.' Emily, a tattoo artist and content creator from Croydon, South London, agrees: 'We are all amazing friends — that's what really bonds us. The sex is just an extra. 'Amy and I also have sex with each other as we are bisexual, but the boys don't play one on one.' Having sex with multiple partners has recently been on the rise. Swinger's club This foursome are two of a growing number of couples turning their backs on traditional, monogamous relationships. According to research by dating app Hinge, one in five users 'would consider' trying out an open relationship, while one in ten has already been involved in one. The couples met at a swingers' club in Maidstone, Kent, in August 2022. They didn't have sex that night, but the women got chatting and swapped numbers. Soon, they were swapping husbands, too. Amy explains: 'We'd gone along to find out what it was all about after watching a TV show about open relationships.' Initially, Emily and Amy sparked up a friendship. Four months later, they had their first swinging night together. They meet up regularly and the women say it's friendship that ties them together, not sex. 'That's secondary to the fact we all get on really well,' says Emily. 'We've seen each other through everything. In January 2023, security guard Darren had surgery in Lithuania to remove loose skin after he lost a lot of weight. 'He nearly died while he was there as he had a previously undiagnosed blood condition. He needed ten transfusions and four emergency operations. 'Amy and Ben were my rocks — on the phone constantly, keeping me company and reassuring me.' According to the latest figures, 11 per cent of women and 33 per cent of men are now open to welcoming a third person into their relationship, and over a million of us admit to enjoying group sex. 5 Depending on how the mood takes them, these two couples have sex around twice a month. 'We pre-plan if we're going to play together or in separate rooms as we need to all be in the right frame of mind,' says Emily. 'We'll set a timer for an hour and only play for that long and text the group chat when we are done.' Amy says: 'They are the only couple we trust enough to do this with. A lot of enjoyment from swinging comes from witnessing your partner's pleasure. And you feel safe as you're part of the action and can reach out and touch the other person and see how they're feeling. 'But we know each other so well that we felt able to push the boundaries further. 'It adds a different element if you can't see what's happening. It feels more illicit, especially if you can hear the moans of pleasure. The sex I have with Darren is intense, but it is just sex.' Emily adds: 'I have a slight BDSM side to me which I explore with Ben as it isn't something that comes naturally to Darren. I enjoy doing something different, but there is no connection with us. 'If there is a twinge of insecurity then we talk about it openly.' Emily and Darren discovered swinging shortly after they got married five years ago. 'Prior to that, I'd only slept with one other man,' says Emily. 'Since then, I've played with 117. It started soon after our wedding. We went to a naturist resort just to enjoy being naked in a hot tub. The venue turned into a swingers' club at night. 'We ran away when the action started, but both of us were curious so went back the next night and it went from there. 'But you can only do it if you've got a strong marriage. It's a misconception that people do it because they're bored of sex with their partner. Our sex life has always been amazing.' Amy adds: 'Swinging has brought us closer together. You can only do it if you trust each other completely.' Whatever happens, Amy insists she will be Emily's friend for life. She says: 'We love each other's company. We've all been away to swingers' events.' Amy adds. 'Last year, we rented a cabin in Kent and spent the weekend reading, cooking and gossiping. Though at the end of the night we did all have sex with each other.' Emily adds: 'Our lives have become so entwined, we love sharing everything — especially our husbands.' Ben says: 'What's not to love? We're all super-close friends with the added benefit of having great sex with each other.' Darren adds: 'I never expected this when we got into the swinging lifestyle. 'When I talk to vanilla friends, some people say they couldn't do it as they'd be too jealous. But others think I'm really lucky.' HONESTY KEY FOR COUPLES By SALLY LAND, Sun Relationship Expert IT'S entirely possible for couples to make an open relationship work as long as they are secure in themselves and neither are the jealous types. It's also crucial that both partners are strong communicators – regularly checking in with each other and working through any issues. I'm not saying non-monogamy can't work but, judging from the contents of my mailbox, once you add in a third, or fourth, person, relationships become a lot more complicated and regularly crumble. Plenty more people are willing to try opening up their relationship but that doesn't mean it's a better option. We hear a lot from people who enjoy swinging and swapping but we rarely learn about relationships and families that break up when swinging and non-monogamy goes wrong. Of course bringing a new partner into a relationship will make it more sexually exciting, but all relationships are complicated and I'm not sure that's worth gambling with – especially if you have children. My support pack Non Monogamy explains a lot more. If you would like some free advice from me and my counselling team, please email us on deardeidre@
