Hardest Quiz Show Questions
Would you know the answers to some of quizzing TV's hardest questions Who Wants To Be A Millionaire - Earlier this year, fans were left outraged after what they described as the "worst" question in the show's history. Host Jeremy Clarkson asked: 'From the 2000 awards ceremony onwards, the Best Actress Oscar has never been won by a woman whose surname begins with which one of these letters?' The multiple choice answers were between G, K, M and W. In the end, and with the £32,000 safe, player Glen had to make a guess and went for G. It turned out to be correct as Nicole Kidman, Frances McDormand and Kate Winslet are among the stars who have won the Best Actress gong since 2000.

The 1% Club - Viewers of Lee Mack's popular ITV show were left dumbfounded by a question that also left the players perplexed. The query went as follows: "Edna's birthday is on the 6th of April and Jen's birthday falls on the 15th of October, therefore Amir's birthday must be the 'X' of January." It turns out the conundrum links the numbers with its position in the sentence, so 6th is the sixth word and 15th is the fifteenth word. Therefore, Amir's birthday is January 24th, corresponding to the 24th word in the sentence.

The Chase - The ITV daytime favourite left fans scratching their heads when it threw up one of the most bizarre questions to ever grace the programme. One of the questions asked the player: "Someone with a nightshade intolerance should avoid eating what?" The options were - sweetcorn, potatoes, carrots - with Steve selecting sweetcorn but the correct answer was potatoes.
Have you got it yet?

Princess Andre takes TWO swipes at mum Katie Price as she reveals what she would not do to follow in her footsteps

PRINCESS Andre has taken not one, but TWO subtle swipes at her mum Katie Price. The 18-year-old reality star, is paving her own way in the world of showbiz after releasing her series The Princess Diaries on ITV this week. 7 Princess Andre said she would not model topless in a subtle swipe at her mum Katie Credit: ITV 7 Princess wore a sheer robe for a photoshoot Credit: ITV 7 The photoshoot was to commemorate her 18th birthday Credit: ITV In episode four of her new show, she revealed what she will never do to follow in the footsteps of her mum, former glamour model Katie, 47. And it didn't end with just one veiled dig, because there were two in the first 15 minutes of the episode. The swipes come as the mother and daughter duo are currently battling through a tricky patch in their relationship, as exclusively revealed by The Sun. Just five minutes into the fourth episode of The Princess Diaries, Princess said she would never do glamour modelling like her mum did. On set for a photoshoot to commemorate her 18th birthday, Princess donned an array of stunning outfits. One of the outfits was a very sheer robe, which left her dad Peter red-faced when she face-timed him. After posing up a storm in the sheer robe, Princess reflected on her mum's modelling career. Saying how she felt in her zone while posing up a storm, Princess confessed: "I felt like my mum." She explained how she had previously seen snaps of her mum modelling when she was younger, and how her shoot reminded her of that. Taking a subtle swipe, Princess then said: "But obviously she did topless. And I would not do topless." Princess Andre admits she's 'not over her ex' as she opens up on split after she goes on a date with new boy Then, later on in the episode, Princess seemingly took a second swipe at her mum when she gushed over how she goes to her stepmum Emily for advice. "Ems is like the best at advice," Princess gushed in the second part of the episode. She went on: "I feel like, if I'm ever in a situation that I don't want to talk to dad about, I'll speak to Ems about it." Princess said this before discussing her boy troubles with her stepmum following her split from her boyfriend. 7 Princess made another veiled dig at her mum when she revealed her stepmum is her go-to person for advice Credit: ITV 7 Emily, who is married to Peter Andre, is Princess' stepmum Credit: ITV 7 Princess said Emily, who she calls Ems, gives great advice Credit: ITV Elsewhere in the episode, Princess became upset when she and her mum made headlines. It was reported, at the time of filming, that Princess did not invite her mum to her birthday party. Princess slammed the claims and urged that she had never spoken badly of her mum. She added how she would never want her mum and dad in the same room as it would be "awkward". Princess noted how if she had a party where her mum was present, she would not want her dad there, and if she had a party where her dad was present, she would not want her mum there. This comes as Princess and her mum Katie navigate a rift. Katie previously vented about those working with her daughter after The Sun revealed her secret heartache about being cut out of her TV show. She even vowed not to watch her daughter's reality show, after feeling left out of such an important thing in Princess' life. Then, earlier this week, Katie shared a cryptic message saying 'your mum is not your enemy'. Sharing a quote on her Instagram stories, Katie urged that as a mum she is "not trying to control" but instead "trying to protect" The quote also acknowledged how she "may not be perfect" but is "the only woman in this world" who wants the best for her children. The post Katie shared began with: "Your mum is not your enemy." It went on: "She may not always say things the way you want to hear them, but her heart is always in the right place. "She's the one who worries when you're hurting, prays when you're lost, and stands by you even when the world doesn't. "She's not trying to control you. She's trying to protect you." The cryptic quote concluded: "She may not be perfect, but she's the only woman in this world who truly wants what's best for you, even if it costs her everything."

First look at Cillian Murphy's powerful new Netflix film Steve

The teaser for Cillian Murphy's highly anticipated next film has just dropped ahead of the movie's release on Netflix. The Oscar-winner's new movie, Steve, tells the story of a devoted headteacher of the same name Steve as he battles to save his last-chance reform school from closure while grappling with his own mental health. The film also follows the story of Shy - a troubled teen who attends the school - and his struggles to reconcile his past with an uncertain future. The movie, set in the mid-90s, is directed by Tim Mielants and is based on Max Porter's Sunday Times Bestseller Shy, which Cillian said "broke his heart". Cillian is not just playing the movie's main character; he is also producing it alongside his collaborator Alan Moloney. The pair founded Big Things Films, their independent and story-driven production company, back in 2022. They aim to collaborate with filmmakers and writers who have 'something to say' and are passionate about what they do. Their first movie, Small Things Like These, was set against the backdrop of the Magdalene Laundries in 1980s Ireland and received rave reviews from critics. It featured Cillian himself alongside Cork actress Eileen Walsh, and was also directed by Tim Mielants. Steve will be in select theatres from September 19 before being released on Netflix on October 3. US President Donald Trump names Sylvester Stallone among Kennedy Center honourees

US President Donald Trump has named Rocky star Sylvester Stallone and the country music singer George Strait among the recipients of the Kennedy Center Honors as he pursues a controversial overhaul of the storied arts institution. Disco star Gloria Gaynor, the rock band KISS, and the British actor Michael Crawford, known in the US for his indelible turn in the lead role of the Broadway staple The Phantom of the Opera, will also receive Kennedy Center Honors, one of the United States' highest arts awards. President Trump announced he would host the gala ceremony, which usually takes place in early December and is later broadcast on CBS. "I did not insist, but I think it will be quite successful," he told reporters at the stately white marble complex overlooking the Potomac River. He also joked that he wanted an honour himself but was "never able to get one". Stallone, who at 79 is the same age as President Trump, is a three-time Oscar nominee: for Best Actor and Screenplay for the 1976 classic boxing film Rocky, and for Best Supporting Actor, again in the Rocky Balboa role, in the 2015 follow-up Creed. He is also a major Trump supporter and one of the president's "Hollywood ambassadors" along with Jon Voight and Mel Gibson. Strait, 73, is one of the best-selling musicians of all time, known for hits like All My Exes Live in Texas and Amarillo by Morning. Gaynor, 81, is the singer behind the disco anthem I Will Survive. KISS, formed in the 1970s in President Trump's hometown of New York City, gained fame with their shock rock performances and outlandish black-and-white face paint. Crawford, 83, made his mark on British television in the 1970s in Some Mothers Do 'Ave 'Em before achieving international success by originating the title role in Andrew Lloyd Webber's musical The Phantom of the Opera, thrilling audiences with his powerful tenor voice. The Kennedy Center, one of the United States' top performing arts venues, is a living monument to the late John F Kennedy. Opened in 1971, it has long enjoyed bipartisan support. But in February, shortly after returning to the Oval Office, President Trump ousted the Kennedy Center's leadership and installed himself as board chairman, vowing to purge any programming he deems objectionable. "A few short months ago, I became chairman of the Kennedy Center," President Trump said. "We ended the woke... political programming." In his first term, from 2017 to 2021, the Republican president skipped the Kennedy Center Honors gala, the biggest fundraiser of the year, because some of the artists receiving awards criticised him or said they would not attend in his presence. The Kennedy Center is home to the National Symphony Orchestra and also offers theatre, opera, comedy, and other productions. Many artists associated with the Kennedy Center, including the opera singer Renee Fleming and the singer-songwriter Ben Folds, have cut ties with the institution. Others, including the comedian Issa Rae, cancelled performances. The producers of the hit historical musical Hamilton opted to cancel a scheduled 2026 run timed to coincide with the 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence, citing the end of "neutrality" at the Kennedy Center.
