Indian YouTuber 'Pooh in Korea's video at 'Jungkook's house' slammed as BTS star becomes victim of Chinese sasaeng
The global BTS fandom, ARMY, celebrated the return of more members on June 10 and 11, marking another step closer to a full group reunion. With Jin, J-Hope, RM, V, Jimin, and Jungkook now discharged, fans eagerly await the return of SUGA, who is currently serving as a public service worker due to a past shoulder injury. He is scheduled to complete his service on June 21, 2025.
However, the joy surrounding BTS' near-complete reunion was dampened when news broke that a Chinese sasaeng (obsessive fan) had attempted to enter Jungkook's home just hours after his military discharge. As ARMYs voiced their concern, many began directing their anger toward an Indian YouTuber known as 'Pooh in Korea.'
Chinese stalker attempts to enter Jungkook's home
On June 12, a woman in her 30s was caught attempting to break into BTS Jungkook's residence and was immediately apprehended by Seoul's Yongsan Police. According to The Korea Times, the suspect—identified as a Chinese national—was taken into custody on charges of attempted trespassing.
Who is 'Pooh in Korea' and why is she being criticized?
Indian content creator Poonam Naruka, known online as Pooh in Korea, is a South Korea-based YouTuber and fashion/beauty blogger. Her channel often focuses on life in Seoul and K-beauty trends, but she's recently come under fire for frequently posting content related to the residential areas of BTS members.
Just five months ago, she uploaded a video titled "Moving into BTS Jungkook and J-Hope's Apartment Complex." Following backlash, she edited the caption to clarify:
"For some people that didn't understand: It's not the same flat JK or J-Hope lived in (someone mentioned that JK has already sold his flat years back, I didn't know about it so sorry about that). It's the same apartment complex, which has hundreds of flats in it. Second, nothing illegal is shown here."
But this wasn't the only time her content sparked concern. Other videos on her channel include:

And these are just a few examples. The backlash has intensified, with many accusing her of encouraging invasive behavior and potentially revealing sensitive locations associated with the members.
As news of the Jungkook stalking incident spread, many ARMYs took to social media, especially X (formerly known as Twitter) to express concern that such content may encourage sasaeng behavior, potentially giving obsessive fans clues about BTS members' whereabouts.
Calls to report and take down her channel have since intensified, with fans urging greater respect for the idols' privacy.

Back to back security review meetings are being held in Kashmir for safe and secure Amarnath Yatra. In the past six days over a half a dozen security meetings were held in the Valley for the safe and secure Amarnath yatra which begins next month. Today, Lt Governor Manoj Sinha also chaired a high-level security review meeting ahead of Amarnath yatra. The Lieutenant Governor took a comprehensive review of the security apparatus and measures deployed by the security agencies to ensure safety of the pilgrims. Sinha directed for seamless coordination among the Civil Administration, Shri Amarnath Ji Shrine Board, J&K Police, Army, Security Forces, and all the other crucial stakeholders to ensure a peaceful and successful holy pilgrimage. 'The Lieutenant Governor reviewed the working of the security grid and various significant steps being taken by Army, CAPFs and J&K Police to ensure foolproof security for the Yatra. The Lieutenant Governor also reviewed the contingency plan, deployment of police and security personnel, preparedness and response mechanism of line departments and emphasized on better coordination among all stakeholders involved in yatra management,' the J&K government spokesman said. Sinha on Wednesday had urged devotees to visit in large numbers as foolproof security arrangements are in place for the upcoming Amarnath Yatra. Sinha, accompanied by senior officers, performed the 'Pratham Puja', which marked the ceremonial beginning of the annual Amarnath Yatra. Sinha also took stock of the arrangements at the Shrine. This year, Amarnath Yatra will commence on July 3, simultaneously from both the routes – the Pahalgam track in Anantnag district and Baltal in Ganderbal district-- and it will culminate on August 9 on the occasion of Raksha Bandhan. The security will be further beefed up this year due to the attack on tourists in Pahalgam on April 22 when terrorists killed 26 tourists at Baisran, Pahalgam. More CRPF companies will be deployed on the yatra routes and the entire trek on both Pahalgam and Baltal routes are being searched on a daily basis. Even J&K chief minister Omar Abdullah recently said a safe and secure yatra will be the top priority of his government.

'More women need to do electronica'
Delhi artist Sijya's journey began in the world of music by accident. A trained graphic artist from India's National Institution of Design (NID), after NID, she was helping artists to design their album artwork, when she came into contact with an online radio community station. "Although I was designing for their events, gig flyers, and album art, it was the support of the community that made me take a plunge and produce my first single, 'Have to make my bed', which came out on their compilation, Suchi Selects. Suchi, an international DJ, selected a few artists for the compilation, and I was one of them. Later, my first EP, Young Hate, came out, and this time, it was a UK-based record label, Accidental Records, of artist Matthew Herbert,' she says. Although Sijya is soft-spoken, her music flows to a different beat. Her upcoming album, Leather & Brass, is a testimony to that. Sijya also started out late, at 27, she started producing electronica. 'I learnt how to make music through software, and I realised how much I enjoy it,' she says. The upcoming EP has six songs and is a mix of soundscapes and words. 'Compared to my last two EPs, Young Love (2023) and Young Hate (2022), this EP has more words, as I explored songwriting more. The album is named Leather & Brass, after the two materials my family has a history of working with,' she says. The album talks about the multiple layers of human feelings—from being lost in a complex and competitive world, forcing one to believe in oneself, and the many layers of human relationships. 'Tabla', the only released single from the album so far, talks about the challenges that one faces while creating art in the 21st-century world. The other singles like 'Do I Know' and 'Rust' also deal with many existential questions. The challenges Sijya is now three and a half years old in the electronic music industry, and it has challenges for aspiring and ambitious musicians. 'In India, the electronic music scene has not fully ripened. DJs can survive, but the scene for independent artists and music producers is something else. They struggle with getting shows as there are not many venues and proper infrastructure to support them. Besides, the live-music listening culture is still growing in India. My stage shows attract 150-200 people. Hence, earning remains a constant concern for artists like me,' she says. Being a woman artist also has its set of challenges. 'The biggest problem is perception. Many think that female artists are not technically skilled; that's the impression they have. They refuse to believe that as a female music producer, I can make my own music—that annoys me a lot. However, if more and more women join the electronic music industry, it will get better,' she says. Although electronic music is popular across the globe, with 1.5 billion listeners according to a report by the IMS Business School, India's case is different. Despite the large Gen Z and millennial population, the 'scene' is not ready due to the absence of venues, grants, promoters, and needed infrastructure. Sijya is hopeful that with time, the scenario will look up.

Hyd: DoT busts illegal Telecom Setup in Secunderabad
Hyderabad, June 13 (UNI) The Department of Telecom (DoT) unit at Hyderabad on Friday busted an illegal telecom setup in Secunderabad. Under the Dynamic leadership of Union Minister of Communications Jyotiraditya Scindia, the Department of Telecom is proactively working to curb the illegal routing of calls and cyber frauds. With the analysis and intelligence by the Hyderabad unit of DoT, an illegal call routing set-up was identified at Secunderabad and was busted on the night of Thursday in coordination with the Telangana Police. The illegal set-up was being operated using SIP connections procured by a firm in Hyderabad. A SIP server, three laptops, one monitor and related network equipment was seized in a joint operation of Department of Telecom with Telangana Police The SIP connections were being used to route the international calls from foreign countries to Indian customers in an illegal way. Calls were found to be routed from Middle-East and America, but showing local Indian numbers. Illegal routing of calls causes revenue loss to the nation and causes hardship to innocent subscribers. Anti-National elements also sometimes use these illegal methods. Two FIRs have been filed against the Firm and one suuspect has been apprehended by the police. Involvement of some other persons is suspected and is also being analysed for future action. Further investigation is underway. UNI KNR SSP
