Expanding orchestration with AI Agent Fabric
ServiceNow also debuted AI Agent Fabric, which acts as the communication backbone for entire AI ecosystems — enabling native collaboration between agentic systems. Unlike traditional AI solutions, AI Agent Fabric supports AI agent‑to‑AI agent, AI agent‑to‑tool, or even agentic system‑to‑agentic system, all using common protocols like Model Context Protocol (MCP) and Agent2Agent protocol (A2A). This allows both ServiceNow and third‑party AI agents, tools, and systems to dynamically exchange information, coordinate tasks, and take action in real time.
With AI Agent Fabric, ServiceNow's thousands of AI agents can work side‑by‑side with third‑party agents to share context, coordinate actions, and drive outcomes, operating as part of a coordinated, intelligent system. Together with customers' own domain‑specific agents created through ServiceNow AI Agent Studio, plus current and future AI Agent Fabric integrations from Accenture, Adobe, Box, Cisco, Google Cloud, IBM, Jit, Microsoft, Moonhub, RADCOM, UKG, and Zoom, organizations can unlock new levels of collaboration and enable AI systems to work together for AI‑powered workflow optimization across a broad range of platforms and services. These new integrations expand on the ServiceNow Marketplace, where ServiceNow's industry‑leading partner ecosystem can contribute to the thousands of AI agents already available from ServiceNow by building their own on the ServiceNow AI Platform.
AI Agent Fabric complements the recently announced ServiceNow Workflow Data Fabric, a breakthrough integrated data layer that allows customers to connect, understand, and act on structured, semi‑structured, unstructured, and streaming data across the enterprise, inside and outside of ServiceNow. By offering both Workflow Data Fabric and AI Agent Fabric, ServiceNow further completes its vision of bringing AI, data, and workflows together for customers to help them supercharge their entire business with intelligently orchestrated agentic AI.
The ServiceNow AI Control Tower is now generally available. AI Agent Fabric is now available to early adopters and will be generally available in Q3 2025. 0 0

'Please, ChatGPT': Over half of UAE residents are polite towards AI
More than half of UAE residents — 55.5 per cent — regularly say 'please' or 'thank you' when interacting with artificial intelligence (AI), according to a survey released by YouGov, offering insights into the etiquette of human-AI interactions. This is the highest percentage among the 17 countries surveyed, which included over 12,000 AI users. In addition to the UAE, Mexico (54.1 per cent) and India (50.2 per cent) are the only other countries where more than half of the respondents use polite expressions when interacting with AI. In the UAE, women — at 58.9 per cent are more polite than men — at 54.1 per cent — when engaging with this rapidly advancing technology, which is expanding across both developed and developing nations. Interestingly, OpenAI CEO Sam Altman remarked in April 2025 that he wonders how much money OpenAI has lost in electricity costs due to people saying 'please' and 'thank you' to its models. AI usage in the UAE and other developed nations is nearly 100 per cent, said Omar bin Sultan Al Olama, Minister of State for Artificial Intelligence, Digital Economy, and Remote Work Applications in the UAE Government. 'I heard that only 33 per cent of people use AI daily. I found that quite amusing, because I believe AI usage is closer to 100 per cent in the UAE or some advanced countries. Today, what answers your questions is mostly Google; this is an AI-powered search engine. We consume content on platforms like YouTube, Facebook, and others. So, AI is embedded in everything we do,' Al Olama said during a fireside chat on the second day of the Capital Market Summit in Dubai in May 2025. The minister highlighted that the country's achievements in technological advancement and AI adoption are the result of 25 years of transformation led by the UAE government. He encouraged everyone to start using AI tools to improve themselves, warning: 'Those who are left behind are going to be at a loss, rather than those who adopt it.' In the survey of 17 countries, Denmark (31.1 per cent), the US (32.3 per cent), and Sweden (33.2 per cent) recorded the lowest levels of politeness when interacting with AI. African Commission on Human and Peoples' Rights Statement on the Occasion of the International Day of the World's Indigenous Peoples 9 August 2025
The African Commission on Human and Peoples' Rights (ACHPR) joins the international community in commemorating the International Day of the World's Indigenous Peoples, observed annually on 9 August. This year's theme, ' Indigenous Peoples and AI: Defending Rights, Shaping Futures ', invites renewed reflection on the intersection of technology, human rights, and the self-determination of Indigenous communities. While artificial intelligence (AI) and other emerging technologies hold the potential to advance development, they also pose new challenges to the protection of traditional knowledge, cultural heritage, land rights, and privacy. In Africa, Indigenous populations and communities remain integral custodians of biodiversity, guardians of ancestral lands, and bearers of unique cultural identities. Yet, many continue to face systemic discrimination, marginalization, displacement, and the erosion of their cultural and linguistic heritage. The African Charter on Human and Peoples' Rights guarantees the right to equality, non-discrimination, cultural participation, and self-determination, and that these rights extend fully to Indigenous peoples. The Commission underscores the importance of Free, Prior, and Informed Consent (FPIC) in any initiatives affecting Indigenous peoples, including the use of their knowledge, data, and resources in technological systems. AI systems should not exploit Indigenous knowledge Systems (IKS) without compensation. AI should not perpetuate historical injustices or replicate discriminatory patterns; rather, they should be designed and governed in ways that reflect Indigenous worldviews and safeguard their rights. Meaningful participation of Indigenous Peoples in policy-making and in the design of technological systems is essential On this Day, the ACHPR: 1. Calls upon State Parties to the African Charter to adopt and implement robust legal, policy, and institutional frameworks to protect the rights of Indigenous populations and communities, including in the digital sphere. States are encouraged to develop national AI strategies that are inclusive of IKSs as well as Indigenous perspectives and uphold data sovereignty. 2. Urges technology developers and private sector actors to respect Indigenous data sovereignty, avoid exploitative practices, and engage in genuine partnership with affected communities. 3. Encourages civil society, academia, and the media to promote awareness, foster dialogue, and amplify the voices of Indigenous peoples in shaping technological futures. 4. Reaffirms its commitment to monitor, report, and advocate for the full realization of Indigenous peoples' rights, including through its Working Group and other special mechanisms, in conformity with the African Charter on Human and Peoples' Rights and the United Nations Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples. As the world moves deeper into the digital era, the ACHPR emphasizes that the survival and flourishing of Indigenous peoples in Africa depends on State Parties collective commitment to Indigenous People's Rights, justice, equity, and respect for their environmental custodian role and rights both off and online, today and for generations to come.
