Pakistani actor Fawad Khan is all set to make his Bollywood comeback with the upcoming film Abir Gulaal. The movie also stars Vaani Kapoor in the lead role. Recently, the makers hosted the music launch of Abir Gulaal at Dubai's Global Village.
At the event, music director Amit Trivedi took the stage to perform songs from the Abir Gulaal album, while Fawad and Vaani grooved to the film's song 'Khudaya Ishq'. Fawad further amped up the excitement by singing the song 'Kuch Naa Kaho'.

Fawad Khan is returning to Bollywood after 9 years with Abir Gulaal. But his return has sparked opposition from political leaders associated with the MNS and Shiv Sena.
In 2016, a ban was imposed on Pakistani artistes working in India, preventing many actors from across the border, including Fawad Khan, from appearing in Hindi films. However, in 2023, the Bombay High Court dismissed a petition seeking an official ban on Pakistani actors in the country.
Directed by Aarti S Bagdi, Abir Gulaal is slated for theatrical release on May 9, 2025.
