Kaizer Chiefs: More support for Nasreddine Nabi
Former Kaizer Chiefs winger Daniel Matsau has given coach Nasreddine Nabi another reason to smile and look ahead to next season.
According to Matsau, the Tunisian tactician and the players deeply disappointed Kaizer Chiefs fans by missing out on the MTN8. Still, continuity with the same technical team next season is the way forward.
Former Kaizer Chiefs players such as Itumeleng Khune and Katlego Mphela have shared the same views as Matsau in previous weeks.
While Amakhosi lifted a trophy for the first time in 10 years with the Nedbank Cup, which included wins over Stellenbosch FC, Mamelodi Sundowns and Orlando Pirates, the league results were dire.

Amakhosi finished in ninth place after only eight wins in 28 matches.
'Kaizer Chiefs are in a difficult situation at the moment, but let's hope they can bring in good players next season to enhance the team,' Matsau told KickOff .
'Not qualifying for the top eight is disappointing for those of us who love the club. We understand it's challenging for the club to acquire the players the coach needs, but we hope that will change next season. This season, some of the players lacked hunger; only a few demonstrated their desire when our best players were sidelined due to injuries.
'Some supporters often respond harshly to us former players, when we discuss Kaizer Chiefs, thinking we are being too critical. However, we must be realistic: if a team is not performing well, it is not performing well. Conversely, if a team is doing well, they are doing well.
'We were all hopeful for qualification, but the reality is that they faced tremendous challenges, which is why we find ourselves in this situation.
'It was disappointing to see Kaizer Chiefs not qualify for the top eight. I hope the management grants the coach more time, although I know it won't be easy to secure all the players he desires.
'Kaizer Chiefs have struggled to attract the players they want for too many years now. It's better for a coach to fail with the players he personally recommended than to continue with an unsettled lineup. He has been trying to find a stable starting eleven by giving every player on the roster a chance,' Matsau concluded.
