'Feral' Brit filmed attempting to provoke fellow passenger on busy Jet2 flight
A British passenger caused chaos onboard a Jet2 flight after guzzling down a bottle of vodka onboard. He was heard yelling at fellow passengers and flight staff
Shocking footage has captured the moment that a drunken Brit allegedly turned "feral" onboard a Jet2 flight to Ibiza.
The video was reportedly filmed onboard the Jet2 flight LS1181 from Birmingham last Friday, June 13. The pilot is said to have delayed departure by two and a half hours, with the flight initially set to leave at 6.15pm. But holidaymakers were not allowed to board the plane until 7pm, which is when they were informed about further delays.
According to one passenger, named CJ Edwards, a fellow traveller got out a bottle of vodka and downed it within 10 seconds. Things went from bad to worse when he reportedly became disruptive and allegedly began to goad another person who was sat in their seat.
In the clip, the man, who was dressed in a green matching set, began to throw clothes at another person onboard. He was also recorded shouting at cabin crew. Edwards, who uploaded the incident on TikTok, revealed how several passengers caused issues onboard the plane.
He said: "People were drinking and doing all sorts, and what I want to say is that it wasn't just him. There were a lot of things going on. There was a fight on the plane, someone got slapped, someone was sick in the aisles. My friend had sick on his shoe. People were passing drinks over each other.
"There was a lot going on. So when we got on the flight and told we can't move, the guy took his bottle of Ciroc out that he'd got from duty free and, I'm not lying, he's guzzled it down in about 10 seconds." Edwards added that it was at this point he knew he didn't want to be "anywhere near" the man and relocated to the rear of the plane to join a friend.
Despite the pre-flight commotion, Mr Edwards confirmed that the plane eventually departed - flight records indicate this was at 8.44pm - amid significant turbulence, reports Mail Online. He added: "And when it's doing all of this in the air the man is standing up. He's doing the most. He was coming to the back of the plane where I was, trying to get some drink off people and chat with some lads. When the air hostess told him to sit down he's looked in her face and said 'But who are you? Who are you to tell me to sit down?'
"After all that when we're trying to land he's standing up again. He's in the aisles, moving through. People are trying to get him to sit down and he's not doing it. The pilot is on the microphone saying 'to the guy standing up, please sit down'. I think the person he was with as well that he ended up slapping them but I'm not too sure. It was the flight from hell."
A Jet2 spokesperson said: "The customer has been banned for life. As a family friendly airline we take a zero-tolerance approach to disruptive passenger behaviour."

'I'm fearing the worst': Concerns grow as British man vanishes in Brazil with no belongings
Concerns are growing as it reaches a week since the disappearance of a British tourist in Brazil. Denis Kopanev, left his Airbnb on 9 June at around 8:30pm without any of his belongings. The 33-year-old lives in Southwark and was born in Russia but became a British citizen in 2019. Footage from the night shows him leaving the gates, wearing a beige jacket and trousers with a baseball cap. His belongings, including passport and personal effects, were left behind, and he failed to board his scheduled flight. His friends say his phone has remained off since with his last known location being the west side of Lagoa Rodrigo de Feritas. CCTV footage shows Denis Kopanev leaving his accommodation on 9 June in Gavea, Rio de Janiero. Pedro Campos, a friend of Mr Kopanev told ITV News London he was in touch with him the night before his disappearance. "I live in London and I last saw him here, but on Monday night before his disappearance, we were in touch," he explained. "He messaged me, very excited about things he had done during the Brazil trip and excited about all the things that he was going to do during the trip. "He was going to Sao Paulo the next day and yeah, so when he disappeared it was kind of a shock because he seemed so excited about everything that was going to happen." Denis has been travelling to Brazil every year since 2018 and was meant to return to London at the end of June. His friends are asking the public to "stay alert to any news and information". But they are putting pressure on the Metropolitan Police to work with the Brazilian authorities. "As I understand, the Rio police are asking the Met police for more timely cooperation," adds Mr Campos. "I personally went to the police station to find out more, but I had a sense that there was no urgency. The communication with them online and on the phone remains vague, and we urge them to allocate resources to this. The longer they take, the more we fear for Denis." It has been a week since Denis disappeared and his friends are increasingly worried. "I'm feeling very worried, and it's been seven days now, and the thought of losing such a good friend is very distressing. There have been no breakthroughs as far as we know. Yeah, I'm very worried. I'm fearing the worst." The Metropolitan Police say: "Officers are supporting an investigation into the sudden disappearance of 33-year-old Denis Kopanev. "Denis was last seen in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil on Monday, 9 June at around 19:30hrs. He had travelled there from his home in Southwark, London. "Brazilian police are leading the investigation, and are working closely with the Met, as well as the Foreign Office, Interpol and other international organisations.

The 47-year-old star – who has just amplified her bum with a round of filler – nearly slipped out of her tiny bikini as she danced among the crowd with the boxer. With a tiny red and white bikini barely keeping her famously enhanced boobs covered, Katie delighted in the revelry on the day out. McGregor later shared one of the pictures, captioning it "Katie Price Forever". Katie posted about the event on her Instagram before arriving, saying that she was joining her son and "her besties" at Ocean Beach. Since arriving in the Spanish party town, she has joined a string of celebrity pals including Wayne Lineker, Jamie O'Hara and Dean Gaffney. Fans have grown concerned for the star in recent weeks during her increasingly slender frame. Katie has repeatedly shut down speculation she had started using weight loss jabs – and hit back at critics of her weight loss. Speaking on her Snapchat in May, Katie said: "Yes I've lost weight. "Yes that what I've wanted to do, I've wanted to lose weight. "Because the past three, four years ago when I broke my feet and I was in a wheelchair for 10 months because they said I'd never walk again, and obviously you put weight on being in a wheelchair. Katie Price reveals her 'most painful' surgery EVER - just days before getting more filler in her bum "And then I did all the IVF stuff, that also puts on weight. "So yeah I did put on weight and I hated it, I felt uncomfortable and it wasn't me." She then explained how, after finishing her failed IVF treatment, she became more active with healthy eating. "Everyone is talking about it - it's driving me mad," she said. "I'm healthy and I do eat. "If you look at old old pictures of me in the Jordan days, I was always skinny." The mum-of-five underwent a £1,500 bum filler procedure in May which she livestreamed on TikTok from the operating table. She told the camera: 'You can grow old gracefully, but I don't want to grow old gracefully. "If there's procedures out there to be done, I will take advantage of them. And at least I'm being honest.' Just weeks later, she shared that she had gone for more, further enlarging her rear. Plasters from the treatment were still present and bleeding on her bum by the time she arrived in Ibiza, with Katie showing off the bandages by the poolside. 5 Katie said she was joining her son and her besties at Ocean Club Credit: katie-pricey/Snapchat/Backgrid

RAF Typhoons scrambled six times in just one week to face Russian bombers
Typhoons are part of a British-led NATO enhanced air policing mission over the Baltic region The RAF has been forced to scramble fighter jets over Poland six times in a single week to ward off 15 Russian military aircraft encroaching near NATO airspace. The Typhoon FGR4 aircraft, stationed at the 22nd Tactical Air Base in Malbork, Poland, carried out these missions from 7th to 12th June. These six incidents represent the most intense period for the air force since being deployed in the region on 1st April as part of Operation Chessman, highlighting an increase in Russian intelligence-gathering operations in the Baltics. In line with the UK's commitment to NATO's defence, it has relocated both aircraft and personnel to the enhanced air policing mission, including the fourth-generation jet. The first aerial confrontation occurred on 7th June when RAF pilots were dispatched to identify an aircraft leaving the Kaliningrad region, later confirmed to be an Antonov An-30, a Soviet-era reconnaissance craft used for terrain mapping via aerial photography, reports the Express. The two Typhoons that were subsequently deployed to intercept were re-tasked to shadow another surveillance-reconnaissance aircraft, the Ilyushin Il-20M COOT A. The fourth-generation UK fighter jets are equipped with advanced radar, sensor fusion capabilities, and a broad suite of air-to-air and air-to-ground munitions to aid with the interceptions. However, the following day, the RAF were once again scrambled to intercept two unknown contacts, later identified as supersonic, all-weather tactical Su-24 bombers. During this mission, the UK jets split up as one of the Su-24s conducted low-altitude flybys of a US Navy cargo ship operating in international waters in a clear act of provocation. In the following days, more reconnaissance planes were repelled, exhibiting similar intelligence-gathering patterns near NATO airspace. Meanwhile, a Tupolev Tu-142 BEAR F, an aircraft designed for anti-submarine warfare, was spotted being escorted by two Su-27 FLANKER B fighter jets. Russia continues to antagonise NATO personnel with these reconnaissance missions and close flybys, with the defensive alliance preparing for its Atlantic Trident 25 air exercise, hosted by Finland. The multinational drill will run from today (Monday) until June 27 and will be performed for the first time outside of either the United States, United Kingdom or France. In tandem with the exercise series, the US has deployed dozens of refuelling aircraft across the North Atlantic, towards Europe, with the volume of aircraft unlikely to correlate with the Atlantic Trident. The aircraft heading for Europe include KC-135 Stratotankers and KC-46 Pegasus tankers. This mass migration could be related to ongoing bombing campaigns carried out by both Israel and Iran who continue to heighten tensions in the Middle East.
