MrBeast Bought Out Disneyland for $500K Date Night in Empty Park

Yahoo09-06-2025
MrBeast rented out Disneyland for a $500k private date night, he shared in a new video
The video creator, his fiancée and a group of friends enjoyed a night of the park all to themselves
The date included a special dinner in front of the Sleeping Beauty Castle and a private paradeMrBeast is pulling out all the stops — and a huge wad of cash — for a one-of-a-kind date night.
The content creator, whose real name is Jimmy Donaldson, spent weeks planning dates for his fiancée Thea Booysen and himself in a recent video shared on YouTube. After the pair went on a number of romantic excursions — costing anywhere from $1 to $100k — the couple headed to the grand finale: a $500k private night at Disneyland.
"Disney won't just hand over their keys to anyone, but for this once-in-a-lifetime date, we were given the entire park for one night," MrBeast said in the video's voiceover.
The fiancés generously included a few other folks in their date, including "the boys," some friends they met on their private island date (which cost $100k), and Madison Beer. The group first wandered Star Wars Galaxy's Edge, where they hopped on a ride, relishing in the fact that there was no line, then built their own lightsabers, an activity that typically books out far in advance.
Next up, Disneyland's giant Ferris wheel! Coincidentally, the cheapest date Donaldson and Booysen went on was also a Ferris wheel at a small park — a detail MrBeast called "full-circle."
After a round of games, the group secured multiple stuffed animal prizes. Rounding out the night, they enjoyed a dinner at a flower-lined table in front of Sleeping Beauty Castle.
"Alright, I don't know why Disney's going all-out for us, but thank you guys!" MrBeast gushed as his friends marveled at the sight. Glass raised, he added, "Cheers to the greatest date in history!"

But that wasn't quite the end of the night, MrBeast admitted as he led the group to one last surprise: a private Disney parade, complete with beloved characters, twinkling lights and stunning floats. The date was "truly once in a lifetime," the content creator reflected.
The video comes days after he revealed he is asking his mom to help pay for his wedding.
Despite being worth an estimated $1 billion per Celebrity Net Worth, he claims he has "very little money" and needs his family's support to fund his upcoming nuptials.
Responding to a post on X which described MrBeast as "the only billionaire under 30 to have not inherited his wealth,' the YouTuber with more than 400 million subscribers wrote, 'I personally have very little money because I reinvest everything (I think this year we'll spend around a quarter of a billion on content)."
"Ironically i'm actually borrowing $ from my mom to pay for my upcoming wedding lol," he continued, adding, "But sure, on paper the businesses I own are worth a lot."
In addition to posting videos across several platforms, often featuring outrageous stunts and big-ticket giveaways, he also hosts the reality competition series Beast Games, which awarded its first season winner a record-breaking $10 million in prize money.

Colorado YouTuber Basho & Friends releases new educational album for kids

What started out as a small venture has grown into 175,000 YouTube subscribers for a content creator in Colorado. He's teaching kids new words and different languages. Boulder native Basho Mosko has been making fun educational music for kids for over a decade. "I was teaching a mommy and me kind of Spanish course, and they didn't have good materials," Mosko said. "And I was like, 'I can help you make materials.' So I started writing songs that taught languages and put them on YouTube." In the YouTube world, he's known as Basho and Friends. Mosko is completely self-taught and does most of his work right here in Colorado. "I'll do a lot of the scratch tracks here. I'll lay stuff out. I'll punch some stuff out and sort of set a framework for it. And then my producer lives in Brass Valley, California," Mosko explained. Mosko's content has garnered more than 100 million views across platforms, and, while his songs are pretty catchy, Basho and Friends remains a passion project. "This isn't my full-time job," Mosko said. "I have a job at Google doing a broadcast production." Making a difference in a kids' lives, including his own, is what keeps Mosko going. "I had a couple of parents actually emailed me saying that their kids were non-verbal, or they were working with disabilities, and singing my songs was one of the first ways that they started producing language," Mosko shared. Now, the popular YouTuber for kids is dropping a new album with new meaning. It's called "A Way to Be," and it was released Friday on Spotify, YouTube and other platforms where music lives. "With this album, it was going to be another one of those 20 things you need to learn before kids start kindergarten," Mosko said. "But it kind of evolved into something more personal about 20 things that make you a good person. You know that kids around the world universally can learn about and perfect in order to be positive contributors to the world."

The 1 Ingredient Laila Ali Felt Challenged by While Competing on 'Chopped' (Exclusive)

The home chef appeared and won on two occasions on the cooking competition show NEED TO KNOW Laila Ali calls Chopped "one of the hardest things" she's ever done The retired professional boxer recalls being challenged to cook a smoked pig's head and two baby lambs during her time on Chopped Ali hosts new rivalry-based cooking competition show, Chef Grudge Match, appearing on Food Network and streaming next day on HBO Max Laila Ali is a multi-title-holding champion, but there were a couple of moments during her seasons on Chopped that had the champ almost throwing in the towel. During an exclusive interview with PEOPLE, the TV personality and retired professional boxer spoke about the new cooking competition show, Chef Grudge Match, that she'll be hosting. During each episode, two rival chefs are pitted against each other in head-to-head battles for a $10,000 cash prize, the losing chef's most coveted knife and lifelong bragging rights. Reflecting on her own time in the kitchen — having appeared on Chopped in two seasons and Beat Bobby Flay — Ali admits some challenges even had her momentarily stumped. 'There have definitely been some [challenges where] I was just like, 'Man, I wouldn't want to have to work with that,' ' she admits. Calling Chopped 'one of the hardest things I've ever done,' the Laila Ali Lifestyle founder recalls the two occasions where she had to work with a whole pig's head and two full–bodied baby lambs. 'They gave us a smoked pig's head, the whole head. I opened that basket, and there was a smoked pig's head in the basket,' she says. 'I don't even eat pork like that…So I'm like, 'What am I supposed to do with this?' ' She adds, 'They gave me two baby lambs that needed to be butchered. I was stunned for like three minutes before I could even figure out what to do. I just looked to my left, because at that point, I was competing against a Chopped judge, an Iron Chef [Scott Conant]. I was totally out of my weight class.' Of course, like the 'true competitor' she is, she says she saw the professional chef butchering, so she began to do the same. 'There's always something, but there's a way to overcome. Just got to stay focused,' says Ali. Despite the struggles, Ali ultimately won her seasons of Chopped, being crowned a champion once again. Will she competitively get in the kitchen again any time soon? 'Yeah, no, I'm good,' says Ali with a laugh. 'I think I'm done competing. I'm done competing in the kitchen. I'm going to take my wins and go home.' Chef Grudge Match will premiere on Aug. 12 at 9 p.m. ET on Food Network and streams next day on HBO Max. Read the original article on People

"Timothée's schedule is grueling, with very little downtime," a source tells PEOPLE of the 'Dune: Messiah' actor NEED TO KNOW Timothée Chalamet missed girlfriend Kylie Jenner's 28th birthday earlier this week Despite fan speculation, a source tells PEOPLE that the pair are still dating as they navigate busy schedules They were spotted together last month during a vacation in France before the actor left to film Dune: Messiah in Europe Kylie Jenner and Timothée Chalamet are going strong as they navigate their long-distance relationship. When the actor, 29, missed the makeup mogul's 28th birthday celebration earlier this week, fans began to wonder if they split. However, a source tells PEOPLE the couple is still together, citing their busy schedules for why they've been spending more time apart. 'They haven't seen each other for a few weeks only because Timothée's been filming Dune in a studio in Budapest, and Kylie's been working too,' the source says. 'She visited him in July." "But even though Kylie has a private jet, the flight is still 12 hours," the source adds. "She's a mom and she works as well. She has a lot of responsibilities in LA. Timothée's schedule is grueling, with very little downtime.' 'They're making it work though,' the insider continues. 'They FaceTime most days. They miss each other and are totally fine.' Another source adds that Chalamet's travels will continue as he prepares to head to Jordan and Abu Dhabi for the next leg of filming. The star marked another year around the sun on Aug. 10 with a chic dinner party thrown by her sister, Kendall Jenner. In a series of photos and videos posted to Instagram, Kylie shared a peek into the festivities, which included a painting session, pictures in a photo booth and several cakes. 'best birthday ever!!!!!!!' she wrote in the caption. 'I'm so grateful to my family and friends for making this weekend so special and full of love. 28 feels so good!!!!! and to my sister @kendalljenner thank you from the bottom of my heart for planning everything so perfectly. I'm so lucky to have you.' Meanwhile, Chalamet has been teasing his upcoming film Marty Supreme on his Instagram, which Kylie subtly supported by liking a clip of the trailer. The couple got to spend some quality time together earlier this summer when they vacationed in France. The weekend getaway came after Kylie attended Lauren Sánchez and Jeff Bezos' wedding in Italy. A source told PEOPLE at the time that the pair only had a few days together before Chalamet began filming Dune: Messiah in Prague. 'They hadn't seen each other since before the wedding, so Kylie was really excited when he arrived in France,' the insider revealed, noting that 'they're used to this kind of schedule.' The source also said that Jenner 'will fly to see him when she can,' and shared that 'they're still very happy and just making it work.' 'He knows the next few months will be exhausting, so he's taking a moment to just relax and reset,' the source added. Kylie and Chalamet have been romantically linked since April 2023. They stepped out for their first public appearance together at a Beyoncé concert five months later.
