X Users Discovered That Taylor Swift Is Allegedly Being Considered to Play This Disney Princess

Yahoo26-01-2025

If you've been on X, the app formerly known as Twitter, chances are that you've seen people talking about who Rapunzel could be in the live-action Tangled movie. A lot of names have been thrown around, but so many people are abuzz about one: Taylor Swift.
It all started with an account by the name of @MyTimeToShineH, which is all about Hollywood scoops. They claimed on Jan 23 that 'Taylor Swift is being considered to play Rapunzel in Disney's live-action Tangled film.' In response to this post, many believed they were spreading lies, to which they responded by saying, 'Can't believe this needs to be said, but this isn't bait—this is from a casting sheet. That's how I got these two casting scoops out before the trades:'

So, allegedly, a casting sheet was leaked, and Swift was on it for the role of Rapunzel. It's unclear if Swift has even been contacted yet about auditioning for the role, but either way, lots of people (and outlets) are talking about it.
Now, here's something rather cosmic: Swift actually once modeled as Rapunzel for a Disney ad back in 2013. She posed as Rapunzel, and had her photo taken by Annie Leibovitz, per UsMagazine. Along with that, back in 2024, it was reported that Swift was allegedly planning on directing and writing an original film for Disney, so she's got the connections!
And for those wondering, Swift has quite a few acting credits under her belt, such as playing Liz Meekins in Amsterdam, Bombalurina in Cats, Rosemary in The Giver, Elaine in New Girl, Audrey in The Lorax, Felicia in Valentine's Day, and Haley Jones in CSI.
Other actresses who are allegedly being considered to play Rapunzel are Sabrina Carpenter and Florence Pugh, per Mandatory.Best of SheKnows

Kenya Moore Reacts to RHOA Reunion Disinvite: ‘Back on Bravo Soon'

It's official — Kenya Moore will not appear at the Season 16 Real Housewives of Atlanta reunion. Bravo just dropped the seating chart for the sitdown, which confirmed that Kenya was not on the premises. Oddly enough, her nemesis Brit Eady didn't show up either. While Bravo fans continue to make sense of what's going on with RHOA, Kenya chimed in on Twitter/X with a hopeful message about her Housewives status. She said she felt 'disappointed' to not be a part of the reunion while teasing a possible return to reality TV. The cast of The Real Housewives of Atlanta sat down with Andy Cohen to film the Season 16 reunion on Thursday, June 5. Weeks before the taping, Kenya said that she was 'disinvited' by the network. She also criticized Bravo for not having her back when Brit made the comments about having a weapon. While the cameras were rolling on the reunion, Kenya posted on social media. She sounded willing to make amends with the network, regardless of the salty feelings she had about the hair spa situation. 'I'm disappointed to not be a part of the #RHOA 16 reunion taping today,' Kenya began. 'Please know I take full accountability for my actions and deeply apologize to all those affected including Brittney, the cast, crew, guests and viewers. I look forward to seeing you all back on Bravo soon,' the RHOA star continued. Although Bravo gave Kenya the boot in the middle of Season 16, she has consistently said that she was still under contract with the network. Whether or not any of this means she'll be back on RHOA is still to be determined. Keep your fingers crossed, Team Twirl. In the meantime, Kenya has been focusing on her daughter and, yes, her hair spa. Despite the grand opening making headlines for all the wrong reasons, the spa remains open for business. The Real Housewives of Atlanta airs Sundays at 8/7c on Bravo and on Hayu in the UK and Ireland. TELL US – WHAT'S YOUR REACTION TO KENYA'S STATEMENT? DO YOU THINK BRAVO SHOULD HAVE INVITED HER TO THE RHOA SEASON 16 REUNION? The post Kenya Moore Reacts to RHOA Reunion Disinvite: 'Back on Bravo Soon' appeared first on Reality Tea.

Sabrina Carpenter Declares War on Mediocre Men With New Single ‘Manchild'

Sabrina Carpenter is not playing with you, your boyfriend, or his male fragility. Fresh off an unstoppable year of chart-topping hits, international tours, and award wins that could make any pop darling sweat through their Skims, the 25-year-old princess of pettiness is teasing new music, and yes, it's already giving iconic chaos energy. Following the global domination of 2024's Short n' Sweet, featuring viral anthems like 'Espresso,' 'Please Please Please,' and 'Taste,' Sabrina has officially entered her God Is a Woman, but She's Also Petty era. After casually sweeping the Grammys with two wins and adding a BRIT Award to her carry-on (yes, she's that booked), Sabrina is once again stirring the pot with a mystery drop that's got fans foaming at the mouth and straight men very nervous. On Monday, Sabrina posted a video to X (formerly known as Twitter) that sent her 2.5 million followers spiraling. In the clip, she's thumbing a ride in what can only be described as two square inches of denim and pure audacity while a sultry voiceover whispers, 'Oh boy.' It didn't take long before the stans, who have collectively earned their PhDs in Pop Cryptography, spotted a series of billboards cropping up along U.S. highways, each one tagged with a mysterious, male-directed phrase: 'Manchild' 'Hey Men!' 'Amen!' 'I Swear They Choose Me, I'm Not Choosing Them!' With slogans this spicy, is Sabrina launching an album or a gender war? Either way, we're ready for battle. For anyone just tuning in: no, this is not Sabrina's first time redefining the art of a slow-burn tease. If Espresso was her 'I'm the fun ex' anthem and Please Please Please was a flirty love letter to red flags, these new clues feel like the inevitable clapback. And while Miss Carpenter hasn't confirmed anything official yet, all signs are pointing to the pop star's 7th studio album being one part breakup therapy, two parts rotted male archetype slander, and one enormous viral moment waiting to happen. Naturally, fans are wondering who exactly this is about. And with whispers of a recent breakup with Irish actor Barry Keoghan floating around, the internet's detective work is in full swing. But knowing Sabrina, it might not be about a man. It might be about all of them. We don't have a title, tracklist, or release date yet, but speculation is out of control. Fan theories on Twitter (sorry, X) range from an EP titled Hey Men! to a full-length concept album called Manchild or Oh Boy. The phrase 'I Swear They Choose Me, I'm Not Choosing Them' is already trending on TikTok and may as well be printed on t-shirts by sundown. Let's be honest. The entire rollout is already giving Lana Del Rey if she did stand-up comedy. It's cheeky, mysterious, and smart as hell. If Sabrina's past year was her soft-serve era, delicious, flirty, and sweet, this next one feels like a knife in the cone. Aesthetic? Absolutely. Personal? Probably. Feminist performance art disguised as pop hooks? Almost definitely. So what's next? Another iconic single? A visual album? A full TED Talk on weaponized incompetence? Whatever it is, the vibes are immaculate, the shorts are illegal in some states, and Sabrina is once again proving she's that girl, not just because she can write a hit but because she can turn heartbreak into a highway campaign. Stay tuned. Stay unbothered. And if you're a man? Stay humble. Jim Gaffigan Jokes Raising 5 Kids Involved 'Enormous Amounts of Humiliation': ‘Children Are Evil'

Jim Gaffigan candidly joked about what it's like raising five children The actor and comedian said that parenting is the "most important thing I'll fail at" The father of five shares his children with his wife Jeannie GaffiganJim Gaffigan is getting real about what it's like to raise five children. During a panel session at Tribeca on Thursday, June 5, the comedian, 58, spoke with Michael Ian Black about what it's like being a father to five children and how his perception of his kids changed over time. "I would say 20 years ago, I mean, I have a 21-year-old, but I was much more of the view of I'm kind of befuddled by parenting, or I'm not equipped for it. And my viewpoint now is that children are evil," he teased. "I joke around and say, parenting is the most important thing I'll fail at, and there is something to that. But, I think that if human beings remembered how difficult and complicated and impossible, teenagers are the species which cease to exist." "I think that we forget that parenting is similar to the entertainment industry, filled with enormous amounts of humiliation, and you're biting your tongue a lot," he added. "When kids are younger, there's a cuteness to it, but when your kids are teenagers, they're not conscious of it, but there's a cruelty that you're exposed to." The dad of five went on to say that there is a cycle of embarrassment that exists between parents and their children. "The great irony is that they embarrass you when they're younger and then at some point for no reason at all, you are the largest source of embarrassment that's ever occurred to them," he said. "Everyone who's had a parent understands that feeling." The actor shares children Patrick, 12, Michael, 13, Katie, 16, Jack, 19, and Marre, 21, with his wife, Jeannie Gaffigan. He joked on X (formerly Twitter) in April 2013 that the 'hardest part of parenting is when I'm with my kids.' 'I have five because I'm secretly starting my own nationality,' he joked with PEOPLE in 2016. He added that each of his kids 'has made me a more decent person and a better person, and based on that, all I would need is 34 more to be a decent guy.' is now available in the Apple App Store! "It's wonderful and really, really hard," he shared. "What no one tells you is that when they get older, it gets so much harder. It's just a different type of hard." The Linoleum star noted that one of the most "frustrating" things as a parent is "being able to communicate some of the things that I might have learned in a way where they might hear it."
