Bigg Boss 19: Will Pahalgam Attack Victim's Wife Himanshi Narwal Join Salman Khan's Show?
The buzz around Bigg Boss Season 19 is getting louder as the show gears up for its grand premiere on Colors TV on August 24, 2025. With speculation running wild about the celebrity line-up, a new name has made headlines — Himanshi Narwal, the wife of a Pahalgam terror attack victim and a former college mate of Bigg Boss OTT 2 winner Elvish Yadav.
According to a report in Telly Chakkar, the makers are considering bringing Himanshi on board, believing her story will resonate deeply with viewers. A source told the portal, 'Makers want to rope in a few people who would connect with the viewers instantly, and thus there were discussions to get Himanshi Narwal on board for Bigg Boss 19. However, there's no confirmation regarding the same."
Contrary to this, several social media handles claim that Himanshi has not been approached and will not be participating in the show.
The Story That Touched the Nation
Himanshi's name first came into the public eye after a devastating tragedy earlier this year. Her husband, Navy officer Vinay Narwal, was killed in the terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Kashmir, on April 22, 2025. The couple had been on their honeymoon when the incident occurred. Heartbreaking images of Himanshi sitting beside her husband, weeping inconsolably, went viral, stirring emotions nationwide.
Elvish Yadav later revealed in one of his vlogs that Himanshi was his college mate. 'I passed out in 2018, and since then we had not spoken at all. Gurgaon, Delhi, is my city. We used to enjoy so much… we used to go to the metro station together. I had her number, but I did not call her because it is not possible for anyone to pick up your phone at that time and tell you," he said, expressing grief over the tragic turn of events.
Star-Studded Rumoured Line-Up
While Himanshi's participation is still uncertain, Bigg Boss 19 has reportedly approached several notable names from television, Bollywood, and the digital space. These include Shailesh Lodha, Gurucharan Singh, Munmun Dutta, Lataa Saberwal, Faisal Shaikh aka Mr. Faisu, Jannat Zubair, Purav Jha, Apoorva Mukhija, and others.
Interestingly, earlier reports suggested that this season might exclude YouTubers and social media influencers. However, with names like Mr. Faisu and Jannat Zubair in the rumoured line-up — and now Himanshi Narwal's possible inclusion — it seems those claims were premature.

As Bigg Boss 19 inches closer to its launch date, speculation over the final contestant list continues to dominate online chatter. While Colors TV has yet to officially confirm any names, the show's trademark mix of high drama, emotional backstories, and celebrity intrigue is already sparking anticipation.
