Rs 200 crore man shares the 'lesson of a lifetime' he received from Shah Rukh Khan
The Moment That Defined True Nobility
Lessons That Outlast the Lights
Looking Ahead: The Star Shines On
Superstar Shah Rukh Khan is not only known for his iconic performances in Indian cinema but also for the graciousness and warmth he extends off-camera. His humility has often left a lasting impression on those who have had the privilege to work with him. One such individual is Viraj Bahl, the entrepreneur behind Veeba and a former judge on Shark Tank India. He recently recounted his unforgettable experience of shooting a commercial with the legendary actor, calling it a deeply transformative moment in his professional journey.During a podcast discussion, Viraj described how just a few days working alongside Shah Rukh Khan felt like a masterclass in leadership, kindness, and humility. What struck him the most wasn't Khan's stardom but the way he treated people around him—with genuine attentiveness. From learning the names of crew members to personally greeting everyone with warmth, Shah Rukh's conduct set a powerful example. Though Viraj doubted whether the actor even remembered him afterward, the impression Khan left behind was indelible.Viraj shared a poignant moment from the set that further cemented his respect for Shah Rukh. Typically, brand ambassadors commit only a set number of hours for promotional shoots. During their advertisement shoot, the allotted time had passed, and the director was ready to call it a day despite some parts being left unfinished. Hesitant but hopeful, Viraj approached the superstar to explain the situation. To his surprise, Shah Rukh gently placed a reassuring hand on his shoulder and agreed to continue the shoot without hesitation. That gesture—calm, compassionate, and unforced—left a profound emotional impact on Viraj. What Viraj took from those few days went far beyond a successful shoot. It was an education in character. He realized how important it is to honor others with respect, regardless of one's status. While he humbly accepted that he may never achieve the monumental success that Shah Rukh has, he hoped to mirror at least a fraction of the actor's grace and grounded nature. That, for him, would be true success.Professionally, Shah Rukh Khan continues to dominate the big screen. His upcoming projects include King, where he will share the screen with his daughter Suhana Khan, and the much-anticipated Tiger vs Pathaan , co-starring Salman Khan. But beyond the cinematic buzz, stories like Viraj's continue to reveal the depth of a man whose greatness lies just as much in his humility as in his fame.

‘I wasn't supposed to feel gareeb in India': Dubai vlogger left shocked after Rs 1,000 chai in Mumbai
A Dubai-based Indian travel vlogger has gone viral for something most NRIs can relate to — the shock of returning home and finding India anything but 'cheap.' Parikshit Balochi, a radio presenter and content creator, recently posted a candid Instagram video about how the cost of living back home has left him stunned. His witty yet exasperated rant, especially about a cup of tea that set him back Rs 1,000, has already crossed half a million his video, Balochi confessed that earning in dirhams always gave him the impression that India would be his playground for carefree spending. 'I am an NRI, I was not supposed to feel gareeb (poor) in India,' he said, sounding equal parts amused and frustrated. But instead of feeling wealthy, the inflated bills in Mumbai hotels and cafés have made him rethink the entire NRI privilege. Nothing captured his disbelief better than the price of a humble cup of tea. 'Rs 1,000 is what we used to put on the stock market when I left India. What is happening?' he explained that the unspoken 'deal' NRIs had with India was simple — come home, convert dirhams to rupees, and live like royalty. He said that converting dirhams into rupees was supposed to make him feel richer, not leave him shocked. Instead of showing off his wealth, he now jokes that he might actually need flexible payment plans just to survive the a mix of satire and genuine worry, Balochi ended his rant by pointing out how much money locals must be managing to spend daily. 'Yahan pe logon se puch raha hun, kitna paisa hai bhai tumhare paas,' he said, marvelling at how residents navigate this reality.
