Ensure success of CM's visit: Collector to officials
Addressing a press conference at the Government Junior College in Kothacheruvu on Wednesday, the Collector outlined the plans in place for the Chief Minister's upcoming visit.
He informed that Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu and HRD Minister Nara Lokesh will be participating in the Mega Parent-Teacher Meet scheduled at the Government Junior College and Government Boys and Girls High Schools in Kothacheruvu.
All necessary arrangements for the event have been made in a meticulous and organised manner, he said.
The Chief Minister is expected to arrive in Sri Sathya Sai Airport in the morning and travel by road to the venue.
He will first attend the Parent-Teacher Meet at the Junior College, followed by a visit to the Government Girls High School to participate in a Mid-Day Meal Programme.
Collector T S Chetan stressed the importance of making the Chief Minister's visit a grand success through coordinated efforts from all departments.
Several media personnel and district officials were present at the press briefing.

Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka claimed that the 'secret meeting' between BRS working president K.T. Rama Rao and Andhra Pradesh IT Minister Nara Lokesh was a conspiracy of the BRS to extend full support to the Banakacherla project. Mr. Vikramarka issued a stern warning over what he called a conspiracy by BRS, BJP and TDP to compromise Telangana's interests in the name of the Banakacherla and Polavaram projects. IT Minister Nara Lokesh's comments that Telangana was wasting the flood water, he rebutted that flood water was available for A.P. only because Telangana's upstream projects were never completed. 'Only after securing our rightful needs will Telangana consider any discussion on Banakacherla,' he asserted. Mr. Vikramarka criticised former CM KCR for discarding the Pranahita-Chevella project and instead opting for the Kaleshwaram project. 'KCR spent ₹1.2 lakh crore on Kaleshwaram, which ultimately failed. Pranahita-Chevella could have been completed with just ₹38,000 crore,' he said, accusing BRS of redesigning projects merely to loot the treasury. Tourism and Excise Minister Jupally Krishna Rao and Nagarkurnool MP Mallu Ravi were among present.

Nara Lokesh Accuses Jagan Reddy Party Of Cancelling Agreements With Singapore
Andhra Pradesh IT Minister Nara Lokesh launched a scathing attack on the previous YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) government, accusing it of systematically destroying the state's brand and obstructing development. He said the state suffered significant losses due to the cancellation of key agreements and the hostile environment created by the previous administration. Lokesh specifically cited the cancellation of agreements with the Singapore government for the joint development of Amaravati, as well as the exit of companies like Amara Raja and Lulu, as examples of the previous government's detrimental policies. He asserted that while other states have prominent economic hubs like Bengaluru and Chennai, Andhra Pradesh's brand is synonymous with the leadership of Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu. Highlighting the current government's efforts to revive the state's economy, Lokesh announced that major projects are on the horizon. He mentioned that the country's largest steel plant and data centers are set to be established in Andhra Pradesh. He claimed that a person named Muralikrishna, with links to YSRCP leaders, sent an email to Singapore officials to block investments by falsely stating that the AP government would change soon. Lokesh also pointed out that YSRCP leaders had gone to court to challenge the TCS land allocation. He criticized this behaviour, stating that while parties in Tamil Nadu and other states work together for investments, the opposition in Andhra Pradesh is actively working to deter them. Lokesh appealed to the YSRCP to stop its "destructive politics" for the sake of the state's youth and development. He warned that if such actions continue, it would be the people of Andhra Pradesh who would suffer. He reiterated the government's commitment to job creation and development, citing that the government brought in more investments in its first 14 months than the YSRCP did in its entire term.
