Chelsea vs Fluminense semi-final TV channel and live stream info
Chelsea can book their place in the FIFA Club World Cup final today (July 8) should they win their hotly-anticipated semi-final clash. Enzo Maresca's side are two games away from a second piece of silverware following their UEFA Conference League win at the end of the season.
They have largely been in solid form throughout the competition and secured their spot in the penultimate round with a 2-1 win against Palmeiras. Their opponent tonight is Fluminense FC, who play in the Brazilian Série A, who also enjoyed a 2-1 win in their quarter-final against Al Hilal.
The two sides will now meet at New Jersey's MetLife Stadium to fight for their place in Sunday's final against Paris Saint-Germain or Real Madrid. Chelsea are aiming to lift the trophy for the second time following their 2021 triumph under Thomas Tuchel, while Fluminense could reach a second successive final.
Chelsea will go up against a familiar face tonight in former Blue Thiago Silva, who left London to return to his home club last year. Maresca will likely make some changes from the previous fixture with Liam Delap and Levi Colwill banned after picking up yellow cards against Palmeiras and Moises Caicedo now available after his own suspension.
Cole Palmer scored for only the second time in 28 games in the previous fixture and will no doubt be aiming to get on the score sheet tonight. Both sides are in for a gruelling night though, with temperatures of 35C expected in New Jersey.

Liverpool snapped up wonderkid, 16, from under Man Utd's noses with help of Jurgen Klopp
Rio Ngumoha is proving to be one of the most exciting youngsters in world football, and it's no surprise why the teenager fielded conversations with the sport's elite before signing with Liverpool Rio Ngumoha wasn't short of offers when deciding to sign for Liverpool, with Jurgen Klopp indirectly playing a key role in his arrival at Anfield. The 16-year-old signed for the Reds last summer after spending eight years in Chelsea 's academy. Regarded as one of the Blues' most promising players, he was offered a scholarship by the Premier League side. But he opted to join Liverpool's academy, where he initially joined the club's Under-18s squad. Over a year since his signing, the teenager has emerged as one of the country's most highly-rated talents thanks to his exploits in pre-season this summer with the Premier League champions. With four goals and assists to his name in six games, he capped off the club's season preparations with a stunning solo goal in a 4-1 win over Athletic Bilbao on Monday in front of fans at Anfield. Realising that Ngumoha's ceiling is otherworldly, Liverpool supporters would certainly gain extra satisfaction knowing he rejected Manchester United last summer thanks to the work the Reds had already done to secure his future. According to The Athletic, the winger had held talks with the Red Devils last June, who laid out their plans for him if he decided to leave Chelsea. While pushing for his signing, United chiefs conceded defeat, believing they were behind Liverpool in the chase for his signature. While it was Arne Slot at the helm when Ngumoha arrived, credit has been handed to Klopp over the role he may have played in the forward's decision to switch clubs. The German – who left the club last summer after announcing his decision to leave earlier that season – was known for his penchant for bringing through youngsters into the first-team at Liverpool. The Daily Mail reported that Ngumoha's decision to join Liverpool was motivated by Klopp's methods of integrating academy players into his squad. The Reds' Carabao Cup final victory over Chelsea last year was directly pointed to as an important factor, as Klopp fielded six Liverpool academy graduates at Wembley. While Caoimhin Kelleher and Conor Bradley started the game, Jayden Danns, Bobby Clark, James McConnell and Jarell Quansah all came on. Prior to his Liverpool move, Ngumoha had made just one appearance for Chelsea's U21 team and had yet to make his professional debut. He's since done exactly that with the Reds, where he started in their 4-0 win against Accrington Stanley in the FA Cup earlier this year and has played a starring role in pre-season. The winger discussed his experience playing with the first-team this summer while opening up on the influence Mohamed Salah has had on himself and the rest of the young players at Liverpool. "Training with the best team in the world; the players that you get to train with, you learn from them and you really test yourself against them," he said in his first interview this past week. "It has been very good. Patience is key. I don't want to rush anything. I'm young. Just keep working hard, pushing hard and just showing the manager what I can really do, and affect the team. They really help the young players – especially me, Trey [Nyoni]. "They help us really settle in. [Mohamed] Salah was one of my role models growing up obviously, so it's really big [to be] learning from him. Everyone is really professional and you can see why they're at the top. They're always thinking about football, recovery, little things like eating right. So, [you] definitely can learn a lot from them."

John Stones warns Man City have ‘fire in our bellies' after disappointing season
Defender Stones believes lessons have been learned and has detected a strong desire to put things right since the players have reported for pre-season training. To me, to you 💫🥶 — Manchester City (@ManCity) August 5, 2025 The England international said: 'It was humbling for us after all the success that we've had. 'It makes us realise what we've done, what we've achieved over the years and how proud we should be, but we're obviously frustrated at what we did last season. It's not what we want to replicate. 'To finish third, three or four points behind Arsenal is – to our standards – not good, (nor) how we played through the season. 'We've got to put that right and get back to our identity, get back to winning matches and having that presence about us and believing in ourselves as a team. 'I'm sure we'll find that and bring it back because it was tough last season to go through what we did. We've definitely come back with that fire in our bellies to go and achieve.' Stones is now fit after an injury-hit past season but was not risked by manager Pep Guardiola during the Club World Cup in the summer. Despite not featuring, the 31-year-old made emphatically clear when speaking to media during that tournament that he would not be leaving the club. Entering the final year of his contract, there had been speculation about his future but the former Everton player hopes that has now been shut down. He said: 'It's laughable to me. I understand why people do it but there's nothing to comment on. 'I love it here, nothing's happening. I'm here to fight and play and hopefully win some trophies.' Stones was speaking as City held an open training session alongside the club's women's side at the Joie Stadium on the fringe of their training complex on Tuesday. City now have a friendly at Palermo on Saturday before facing Wolves in their opening Premier League game at Molineux on August 16. The side is taking on a different shape with new signings Rayan Cherki, Rayan Ait-Nouri and Tijjani Reijnders having been integrated during the Club World Cup, in which City reached the last 16. Their arrivals continued a squad refresh after the signings of Omar Marmoush, Nico Gonzalez, Abdukodir Khusanov and Vitor Reis in January. Stones said: 'Things evolve, football evolves, and the guys that have come in have been great. 'It takes a bit of time, obviously, to get used to the style of play, what's expected, but the guys have come in for a reason. 'With the quality that they've got, the aspects of the game are different from what we've had in the past. I'm excited to play with them and see what they do.'
