Drew Adams sidelined with broken finger suffered at High Point
"In Moto 2, I had a decent start and was moving forward until I had a little tip-over," Adams said on social media. "I got back up and made up a few positions, then ended up having another tip-over and suffered a small break in my index finger on my left hand."

Adams finished 16th in the first moto at High Point but was forced to retire in the second race and finished 21st overall.
Adams showed flashes of speed in the first three rounds of the 2025 season, finishing in the top 10 in one moto each weekend. He was coming off a career-best fifth-place result in the first moto at Thunder Valley MX Park in Lakewood, Colorado, before suffering his injury.
The freshman rider left High Point 16th in the Motocross standings and 18th in combined SuperMotocross League points.
A timeline for his return has not been announced.

Mikkel Haarup breaks collarbone in Unadilla mid-air crash
Mikkel Haarup collided with another rider on Lap 5 of Moto 1 on the Unadilla National in New Berlin, New York, and broke his collarbone, ending what could be described as a Cinderella Season. 'Had a good day going, before going down first moto connected with another rider in the air,' Haarup said on social media. 'Getting checked up and put back together. Shout out to my team for the help and the hard work! Appreciate all the positive energy!' Haarup aged out of the MXGP small bike division, and since Factory Triumph would not have their 450 ready until 2026, the decision was made to bring him to the United States for Pro Motocross. Haarup scored his first top-10 in Round 2 of the season when he was scored seventh overall with results of 10th in Moto 1 and ninth in Moto 2. His first top five came on the Fourth of July weekend in the RedBud National with a fourth-place result overall. In total, Haarup earned seven top-10s and an 11th in 10 rounds of 2025, which allowed him to rise in the SuperMotocross standings quickly. Despite failing to earn any points in Unadilla, Haarup left the track 13th in the combined SuperMotocross standings with an 84-point advantage over the cutline, so his invitation to the playoffs was guaranteed. The first round of the playoffs begins on September 6 at zMax Dragway in Concord, North Carolina, and while the team has not stated outright that he is done for the season, collarbone injuries typically take longer to recover from than the time available. Two Texas A&M players named to the AP preseason All-America first and second teams
Texas A&M's 2025 season is just 12 days away, as the Aggies will host UTSA on Saturday, August 30, to kick off coach Mike Elko's second season at the helm. Over the past three weeks, A&M's deep and talented 2025 roster has been hard at work during the preseason, focused on working out any remaining issues before the real work begins. Entering Monday, the preseason period will end this week with the regular season practice schedule starting next week before the season-opener. Throughout the offseason, Elko has emphasized the importance of having NFL-level talent on both the current and future rosters. This is currently led by senior offensive lineman Ar'maj Reed-Adams, junior linebacker Taurean York, senior running back Le'Veon Moss, and junior wide receiver KC Concepcion, who transferred from NC State. Two of those veterans, Adams and York, are considered potential first or second-round NFL Draft selections and have just been named to the AP preseason All-America team. Adams, who transferred from Kansas before the 2024 season, appeared in every game while finishing the year as Pro Football Focus's highest graded run blocker. York, who is considered one of the best tacklers and an elite run stopper, has been Texas A&M's starting middle linebacker since his 2023 freshman season. One of the smartest players in the country, York might be undersized by NFL standards, but his impressive instincts and athleticism will always win out over any issues regarding his frame. Alongside Penn State guard Olaivavega Ioane, Ar'maj Reed-Adams was named to the first-team at guard, while Taurean York was edged out of the first-team defense by Anthony Hill Jr (Texas), Whit Weeks (LSU), and Kyle Louis (Pittsburgh). However, he is the first linebacker listed on the second team, joining Harold Perkins Jr. (LSU) and Aiden Fisher (Indiana).
