Squid Game Season 3: What to expect in final season? Here's release date and cast
Netflix has announced that the third and final season of Squid Game will be available for streaming on June 27. The South Korean series, created by Hwang Dong-hyuk, will continue the story of Gi-hun as he returns to the brutal game. The show has become known for its themes of class struggle and intense competition.
New Season Arrives Soon
The gap between Season 2 and Season 3 is much shorter than before. Season 2 premiered on December 26, 2024. Season 3 will arrive on June 27, 2025. The first and second seasons were released more than three years apart. Season 1 began on September 17, 2021.
Hwang Dong-hyuk said Seasons 2 and 3 were written as a continuous story. Due to the number of episodes, the story was split into two seasons. This allowed a quicker release for the final season.

In a message to fans, Dong-hyuk confirmed this season will complete Gi-hun's journey. The conflict between him and the Front Man will reach its conclusion.
