Donald Faison and Sarah Chalke join Zach Braff in Scrubs revival
The medial comedy-drama has officially been given a series order by ABC and not only is the show lead Zach reprising his role as Dr. John Michael 'J.D.' Dorian, he will be joined by his former co-stars as Dr. Chris Turk and Dr. Elliot Reid, his on-screen wife, respectively.
Zach shared the news on his Instagram Stories, singing to the tune of Scrubs' theme song: "I can't do this all on my own/I need Sarah Chalke and Donald Faison" to the tune of the Scrubs theme, Lazlo Bane's "I'm No Superman."
Sarah shared a number of throwback photos of herself, Zach, and Donald on Instagram along with the simple caption: "YAY!!!"
Bill Lawrence, who created the original Scrubs - which ran for 182 episodes between 2001 and 2010 - will return as executive producer.
He said in a statement: "Scrubs means so very much to me. So excited for the chance to get the band back together."
In announcing the series for the revival, the official logline stated: "JD + Turk scrub in together for the first time in a long time- medicine has changed, interns have changed, but their bromance has stood the test of time. Characters new and old navigate the waters of Sacred Heart with laughter, heart and some surprises along the way."
When Scrubs was rebooted for a ninth season with the focus on a new batch of interns, Donald and John C. McGinley were the only cast members to stay on as regulars.
Meanwhile, Zach previously confessed to feeling "exhausted" at the end of his time on 'Scrubs'.
The 50-year-old actor loved the experience of shooting the show - but he also admitted that it took a toll on him.
He told the Inside of You with Michael Rosenbaum podcast: "I miss laughing every day. Belly laughing every day was - that was the job. And when that goes away, by the time nine years were over, we were sort of all exhausted by it."
Zach also confessed that he "didn't really have much of a life outside of [the show]".
He said: "We were starting to repeat jokes. Everyone's pretty fried.
"We would do insane hours that people don't even do anymore. We didn't really have much of a life outside of it. So we were just kind of fried."

Kris Jenner called out for having ‘six toes' in alleged Photoshop fail
Don't miss out on the headlines from Entertainment. Followed categories will be added to My News. Kris Jenner was called out after seemingly sprouting a sixth toe. The reality star's feet raised eyebrows as she shared photos from her mum MJ's 91st birthday lunch at The Ivy in Beverly Hills, as reported by Page Six. The 69-year-old rocked a chic Oscar de la Renta gown and accessorised with a matching cardigan, gold purse and open-toed sandals in the pictures – which revealed an alleged Photoshop fail, prompting eagle-eyed fans to sound off in the comments on Instagram. Kris Jenner was called out after fans spotted an apparent sixth toe in her Instagram photos. Picture: Instagram/@krisjenner 'You have 6 toes??' one user wrote, while another quipped, '6 toe steppa.' 'Does she have 6 toes or am I trippin?' a third asked, to which a fourth responded, 'you are NOT trippin.' Others were more preoccupied with Jenner's dramatically youthful appearance. 'What in the Benjamin Button?' one person marvelled, with another adding, 'is it just me or did she get younger?' A representative for Jenner did not immediately return Page Six's request for comment. Jenner wore a chic Oscar de la Renta dress with a matching cardigan and gold bag in the photos. Picture: Instagram/@krisjenner '6 toe steppa,' one follower quipped. Picture: Instagram/@krisjenner This is nowhere near the first time the family has been roasted for a suspected Photoshop fail, having been called out on multiple occasions for various photo-related reasons. In a 2019 ad for their perfume collaboration, Kim Kardashian and Kylie Jenner were both ridiculed for seemingly having six toes on their feet. In the KKW Fragrance campaign, the sisters wore co-ordinating asymmetric pastel bodysuits and translucent open-toed heels. At the time, a representative for Kim told Page Six that the six-toe illusion was not a Photoshop faux pas, but instead the result of the sideways angle of the Skims founder's foot. In 2019, sisters Kim Kardashian and Kylie Jenner were called out for the same reason. Picture: Instagram/@kimkardashian Other infamous Kardashian-Jenner Photoshop gaffes include the 2021 cousin swap when Kim admitted she pasted niece True Thompson's face onto her other niece Stormi Webster's body in a photo from Disneyland alongside her own daughter Chicago West. 'The original (Disneyland) pics were Stormi!' she wrote via Instagram Stories after a TikTok user called out the switch. 'However I asked @kyliejenner if I could post them and she said (crying emoji) she wasn't really feeling posting at the moment and so I respect that! But I wasn't going to mess up my IG feed. Chi was wearing pink and it matched perfectly.' A year later, in 2022, Kim was accused of Photoshopping her own leg in a photo promoting a Skims bikini – and she hastily deleted the photo. Khloe Kardashian was called out for a similar apparent leg edit in 2023, and Kourtney Kardashian once faced criticism after her backside appeared unnaturally large in an animal-print robe. Perth salon boss forced to defend Yungblud interaction
Prominent Perth salon owner Sharlene Lee has gone viral after sharing a video of her meeting up with UK rockstar Yungblud in Italy. The Circles of Hair owner shared a video on social media that showed her catching up with the global superstar while both happened to be visiting Capri at the same time. The English singer was celebrating his 28th birthday at a lunch next to Lee, but found time to give the popular Subiaco and CBD hair salons a quick shout to Lee's friends and family back home. 'Circles of Hair is the best salon in the f***ing world,' he said in her video shared to TikTok and Instagram. The pair acted in an excited, hyped manner as they both yelled and wooed before Lee said: 'This guy is a legend.' 'You're young blood and I'm old blood,' she played on his stage name. Yungblud's ex Jesse Jo Stark also featured in the video with the former lovers seen leaving in a speedboat together while waving goodbye to Lee. The video has received more than 88,000 views on TikTok, with people taking to the comments with mixed reactions about the clip. Some viewers called out Lee for 'outing' Yungblud and Jesse. 'The way this lady just unintentionally outted him and Jesse Jo when they've been keeping everything private and lowkey,' one person said. Another person said: 'Was he with Jessie Jo???? I can't believe it!!!!' The couple, who had been together since mid-2021, recently took a break from each other but have been seen together since the split, including at Bludfest and on holidays. Other TikTok viewers took issue with the fact that he looked 'uncomfortable' around Lee and 'hated' the interaction. 'You can see the exact moment he dissociates,' one person said. Another person said: 'He hated every second of that.' 'Maybe I'm seeing it wrong idk but he looks a little uncomfortable,' a third person added. 'He didn't enjoy that,' someone else said. However, Lee replied: 'He did and you have no clue what we were talking about at lunch.' Lee, who's known for her energetic and outgoing personality, was last year labelled the 'world's best boss' after lending her staff money for a boob job, a new car or help with a mortgage. She shared how she racked up more than $300,000 on her American Express card in April after splurging on her employees by helping them with costly payments. And last month Circles of Hair was forced to defend its work after a client claimed to have received 'diabolical' results at her hair appointment.
