Dolly Chaiwala, the flamboyant tea-seller from Nagpur, whose flair for brewing chai made him a social media sensation, has unexpectedly disappeared from Instagram, leaving lakhs of followers surprised and disappointed. His account, once buzzing with videos of his signature moves, trendy clothes, flashy hairstyles, and oversized shades, has been deactivated without warning.
Known for serving tea with a dramatic, Rajinikanth-style twist at his iconic stall, Dolly Ki Tapri, in Sitabuldi Civil Lines, Dolly has built a loyal fanbase both online and offline. Tourists, influencers, and locals line up daily just to catch a glimpse of the man who turned tea-making into performance art. Beyond Instagram, his presence remains strong on YouTube, where he has over two million subscribers.
Dolly's rise to global fame reached a new high in February 2024 when none other than Bill Gates stopped by his stall for a cup of tea. The video, shared by Gates himself, catapulted Dolly into the international spotlight and earned him a surge of followers and brand deals.
But Dolly isn't just basking in the spotlight, he's turning the buzz into business. He recently announced his expansion into the franchise world, inviting others to be part of what he calls 'India's first viral street brand.'
'It's India's first viral street brand, and now… it's a business opportunity,' he wrote in a now-viral post. 'From carts to flagship cafes, we're launching nationwide and looking for real people with real passion to carry this dream forward.'
Through an application link shared in his Instagram Stories, he laid out the three formats for potential franchisees: a cart model costing between Rs 4.5 to Rs 6 lakh, a store model priced around Rs 20 to Rs 22 lakh, and a flagship café setup between Rs 39 to Rs 43 lakh.

Neither Mukesh Ambani nor Gautam Adani, this man owns India's most expensive number plate; its price will shock you, he is..., business is..

For many, owning luxury cars is a dream. Often, several celebrities and businessmen in the country are in the news due to their luxury cars. In addition, they also have their respective VIP number plates or registration numbers, which add to their prestige. You may have heard about stars like Mahendra Singh Dhoni, Shah Rukh Khan, and Mukesh Ambani with special number car plates. However, did you know that the country's most expensive number plate does not belong to those stars? The title goes to Venu Gopalakrishnan, a tech company CEO from Kerala. The CEO of Litmus7, Venu Gopalakrishnan, recently added a new luxury car to his car collection. He bought himself a Lamborghini Urus Performante priced around Rs 4 crore. But what has caught everyone's attention is not the car itself, but it is the number plate. His car has the registration KL 07 DG 0007. If media reports are to be believed, Venu paid Rs 45.99 lakh for the unique plate, which is so far the most expensive number plate in the country. This extravagant purchase has made history in the state of Kerala as the highest vehicle registration number price ever. On April 7, 2025, the Kerala Motor Vehicles Department held an online auction in which Gopalakrishnan, the founder and CEO of Kochi-based Litmus7 Systems Consulting Pvt. Ltd., an IT company, acquired the highly coveted 007 registration number, which is popular among car enthusiasts. The bidding for this number began at Rs 25,000 and went higher quickly on the register bid to break our record. The '0007' number – reminiscent of the famous James Bond code – gives Gopalakrishnan's new purchase an exclusivity. The lime-green Lamborghini Urus Performante priced approximately at Rs 4 crore, is reportedly the first of its kind in Kerala. Gopalakrishnan took to Instagram to share a video of his new luxury car. Gopalakrishnan is known for his collection of luxury vehicles, which includes a Lamborghini Huracan Sterrato and a BMW M1000 XR bike. His latest purchase represents the growing trend of personalizing luxurious vehicles with unique registration numbers, which are often regarded as status symbols.

Coolie Box Office Collection Day 4: Rajinikanth's Film Is A Few Crores Away From Rs 200 Crore In India

New Delhi: Rajinikanth's Coolie had a stellar start at the box office. However, the numbers saw a significant dip in the subsequent days, taking the total to Rs 194.25 crore across languages at the box office after 4 days. What's Happening On first Sunday, Coolie minted Rs 35 crore including Tamil, Telugu, Hindi and Kannada languages, as per Sacnilk. The film crossed the Rs 300 crore mark globally within three days of its release. Coolie, released on the eve of Independence Day, minted Rs 65 crore with Rs 44.5 crore in Tamil alone on the first day (August 14). On Day two, the film minted Rs 54.75 at the domestic box office. Coolie received mixed reviews. The word-of-mouth from the audience might have impacted its numbers over the weekend. On Saturday, the film managed to earn Rs 39.5 crore across all languages. Coolie emerged as Rajinikanth's all-time highest opener at the box office. The film missed the spot of being the highest opener for Tamil cinema as Lokesh Kanagaraj-Vijay's Leo set the highest opening record of Rs 66 crore at the box office. Coolie is facing a mega clash at the box office as Yash Raj Films' War 2 released at the box office on the same day. About Coolie Directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, Coolie marks Rajinikanth's 171st film. The movie also features Nagarjuna, Shruti Haasan, Upendra, Soubin Shahir and Sathyaraj in key roles. Aamir Khan will make a cameo appearance in the film. Coolie is produced by Kalanithi Maran's Sun Pictures. In his review for NDTV, film critic Saibal Chatterjee gave the film 3 out of 5 stars and wrote, "Coolie plays out in a man's world. The likes of Preethi, notwithstanding the amount of screen time she has, is only of secondary importance. So is everybody else in the film and that includes the writer-director himself. It is Rajinikanth the star and Deva the character who call the shots all the way through. Should anybody be complaining?" Coolie also marked Rajinikanth's 50 years in the business. Industry stalwarts like Kamal Haasan, Mohanlal, Mammootty and others wished the living legend on his special day.
