Fitness coach shares how men can 'fix weak chest in 40s': 'If you're sick of looking soft...'
If you think getting in shape after 40 can be challenging, Nick Conaway, a US-based 'strength and fat loss coach for men over 40' wants to convince you that it's definitely achievable. He took to Instagram on June 9 to share a post targetting 'busy guys between the age of 35 and 50', and titled it: 'Fix your flat, weak chest in your 40s'. Nick wrote in his caption, 'If your chest looks like a kicked-in birdcage and you're tired of spinning your wheels in the gym — this is your wake-up call. You don't need 9 different machines. You don't need to waste 90 minutes. You need intensity, structure, and progression. Try this giant set... run it for 4 sets. Twice a week. Build the da** chest and stop wasting time. Drop a follow if you're sick of looking soft.'
Here's what he suggested in the gym video: Incline dumbbell presses to foot-elevated push-ups
1. '6 incline dumbbell presses (heavy, near failure): set a bench to 30 degree. Do six incline presses,' Nick said.
2. He added, 'Drop bench flat, reduce weight 20 percent, hit 12 reps (controlled). Remember, this is not a race, so control the reps and control the results.'

HLL opens AMRIT pharmacies at ISRO centres in State
The HLL Lifecare Limited (HLL), a public sector enterprise under the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, has opened AMRIT pharmacies at three Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) centres at Valiamala, Vattiyurkavu, and Thumba. A fourth outlet is set to open soon at the ISRO facility in Aluva, according to a release on Thursday. These pharmacies aim to make medicines and medical supplies more affordable and accessible for ISRO employees and their families. This expansion is part of the HLL's Diamond Jubilee initiatives, the official release issued by HLL Lifecare Ltd said. Credit facility Around 38,000 individuals, including ISRO staff, pensioners, and their families, are expected to benefit from these outlets. A credit facility has also been introduced, allowing ISRO employees to purchase medicines and products from any of the HLL's retail outlets, including HLL Pharmacy & Surgicals, HLL Opticals, and AMRIT pharmacies across Kerala. The AMRIT (Affordable Medicines and Reliable Implants for Treatment) pharmacies were launched in 2015. Now in its 10th year, the AMRIT network has grown to over 220 outlets across India. Wide range of products The AMRIT chain offers a wide range of products, including specialised medicines for oncology and cardiology, stents, orthopaedic implants, medical disposables, and a variety of branded and generic drugs at discounts of up to 50% from MRP. AMRIT pharmacies are also present on all AIIMS campuses and other institutes of national importance across the country. More than 6,500 drugs and medical products are available through the network. To date, over 600 lakh patients have benefited, with cumulative savings of more than ₹6,000 crore from MRP. The new ISRO-based outlets are part of HLL's ongoing efforts to expand affordable health care services across workplaces and communities nationwide. The AMRIT pharmacy at ISRO's Liquid Propulsion Systems Centre (LPSC) in Valiamala was inaugurated by LPSC Associate Director R Hutton. The outlets at Vattiyurkavu and Thumba were inaugurated by Padmakumar E.S., Director of ISRO's Inertial Systems Unit, and Unnikrishnan Nair, Director of Vikram Sarabhai Space Centre respectively.

That's exactly what one woman from Pune did. According to her Instagram bio, she's an anchor, corporate trainer, life coach and a 'chakra healing' expert - meet Nupur Pittie. Her most recent viral stunt? A video so bizarre, it alarmed the scientific and medical community: 'Urine eye wash'. Yes, you read that correctly. The Urine Eye Wash Tutorial In a now-deleted video, Nupur shared a five-step tutorial on how to wash your eyes with your morning urine. The steps include collecting your 'mid-stream' urine, pouring it into two tiny shot glasses, placing them over your eyes, blinking continuously for 4-5 minutes (yes, while it drips down your face), then dabbing your eyes with a warm towel for 2-3 minutes. As reckless as it sounds, if you search online, you might stumble upon a few articles linking urine to pink-eye treatment. However, medical experts strongly warn against it. Dr Ajay Rana, Dermatologist & Aesthetic Physician and Founder-Director of ILAMED, told NDTV, "Washing eyes with urine in the morning is a controversial practice with no scientific basis or proven benefits." In fact, he lists several harmful effects: Irritation: Urine isn't sterile and can contain bacteria that may irritate or infect sensitive eye tissue. Chemical burns: Some substances in urine may damage the delicate tissues of the eyes. Infections: Contaminated urine can lead to conditions like conjunctivitis (pink eye). Even letting urine touch your skin can have side effects. Dr Garima Tyagi, dermatologist at SENS Clinics, says, "Urine isn't sterile and can introduce bacteria, especially if the skin is inflamed, potentially causing bacterial infections." She explains that while lab-made urea-based creams can moisturise and exfoliate gently, using whole urine is unreliable and unhygienic. "Applying urine to your face can lead to breakouts, irritation and infections - it's waste material, not skincare," she adds. If the urine isn't fresh or if the person has a urinary tract infection, Tyagi warns, the risks could be even greater.
