€20M Rated Albania Star Only Wants A Move Within Serie A Despite Real Betis Interest – Inter Milan Only Interested In An Sale
Inter Milan midfielder Kristjan Asllani would only be interested in a move to a club within Serie A this summer.
This according to today's print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, via FCInter1908.

Kristjan Asllani has come to the end of his third season as an Inter player.
The Albanian joined the Nerazzurri in the summer of 2022 from Empoli.
Whilst Inter had high expectations for Asllani when they signed him, the young midfielder has never quite managed to live up to them.
Asllani has had some positive moments in an Inter shirt. However, crucially, he has never looked like he can inherit a starting spot in holding midfield.

For this reason, it still looks very likely that Inter will look to move Kristjan Asllani on this summer.
And considering the former Empoli midfielder's age, there is no shortage of transfer interest.

La Liga side Real Betis reportedly want to sign the Albanian. The Europa Conference League finalists have approached Inter about a deal.
However, reports the Corriere dello Sport, Asllani himself wants a move within Serie A. He is not keen on joining a club outside of Italy.
There has been some interest in Asllani from teams in the Italian top flight. Bologna and Fiorentina reportedly consider the 22-year-old to be a target.
And for their part, Inter reportedly want a fee of around €18-20 million to sell Asllani this summer.

Saints will play to the conditions

The New Saints lost 5-0 away to Shkendija in the Champions League qualifiers in 2018 [Getty Images] Champions League First Qualifying Round Second Leg: KF Shkendija v The New Saints Venue: National Arena Todor Proeski, Skopje Date: Tuesday, 15 July Kick-off: 18:00 BST Coverage: Listen live on BBC Radio Shropshire and on BBC Sport website and app. Advertisement The New Saints manager Craig Harrison says the heat will be a big factor when they play in North Macedonia against Shkendija in the Champions League qualifiers. Saints could not find a breakthrough in a tight first leg of the first qualifying round tie at Park Hall, which ended goalless. But Harrison is confident his side will create chances in Skopje and will draw on the experience of last season's draw away to Decic in Montenegro. "The heat will play a big factor so we can't go running around like madmen closing down and wasting energy," Harrison told BBC Radio Shropshire. "We know what it's like in Montenegro, which is in the same region of the world, so it will be similar conditions, really warm. Advertisement "So we'll have to manage the game accordingly and we'll have to be a little bit better in possession of the ball." Harrison said his side did "everything but score a goal" in what was an evenly-matched first leg. The Saints boss, in his second spell in charge of the 17-times Welsh champions, feels his side are capable of securing a win and progressing in the competition. "I do think that if we can keep a clean sheet out there, I think we'll go through," Harrison added. "We went out to Decic and were up against it there and we drew 1-1 in very, very similar surroundings. Advertisement "We'll have a game plan, we'll be well-organised and well-drilled out of possession. "But I do think we're very dangerous on the counter-attack and will create chances." The winners will face FCSB of Romania or Andorra's Inter Club d'Escaldes in the second qualifying round while the losing team drop into the Conference League.

Lamine Yamal shares his birthday wishlist – ‘I am asking for…'

Barcelona's young star Lamine Yamal has turned 18, and alongside the celebrations, he has made his future ambitions clear. After marking the occasion with a private party alongside teammates and friends, Yamal quickly returned to club duties. On his schedule are the usual medical check-ups that players undergo before pre-season. Advertisement But the bigger news is that he is expected to be unveiled as Barcelona's new number 10, one of the most symbolic shirts in football. The Catalan club has taken the chance to look back at Yamal's remarkable journey so far. Since making his debut at just over 15 years old, he has smashed more than 30 records for being the youngest to achieve various milestones. On top of that, he has already collected a number of personal and team honours. His rise to the elite level has been nothing short of spectacular. Focused on winning Champions League and World Cup Barcelona shared a clip from an interview Yamal gave a few weeks ago, where he revealed his biggest wish for turning 18. His answer left no room for doubt. Advertisement 'I'm asking for everything I had at 16 and 17, plus the title I'm missing—the Champions League—and also the World Cup. 'I'm not thinking about how many years I have ahead. I want to win now. I tell the cules that we will fight, and I'm sure the Champions League will come home,' Yamal said. Next week, Barcelona are expected to officially announce Yamal's new contract and confirm his shirt number for the season. Unless there is an unexpected twist, he will inherit the number 10, last worn by Ansu Fati. For Yamal, the upcoming season is full of promise. With the World Cup also on the horizon, the young forward is ready to chase glory both for club and country.

Steelers CB Jalen Ramsey called out for alleged disruptive behavior with Dolphins

Jalen Ramsey is now a Pittsburgh Steeler — but one long-time sports writer believes the Dolphins were more than willing to part ways with the three-time All-Pro cornerback. According to Sun Sentinel writer Dave Hyde, there were specific behavioral issues from Ramsey that pushed the Dolphins to their breaking point: Advertisement 'Let's start here: The Miami Dolphins won't miss cornerback Jalen Ramsey," Hyde said. "They won't miss him regularly showing up for practice as the rest of the team was in the middle of stretching. They won't miss how he constantly undermined defensive coordinator Vic Fangio two years ago and coach Mike McDaniel last season in a manner that spread like a bad odor through the larger team.' Yikes. These behavior concerns, if true, seem eerily similar to those of former Steelers wideout George Pickens — whose punctuality and immaturity made headlines more often than not last season. One could argue that both Ramsey and the Dolphins were ready for a change of scenery — but the same can't be said for now-former Steelers safety Minkah Fitzpatrick, whose leadership in Pittsburgh will be difficult to replicate. It's worth noting that there are always two sides to every story — as Steelers legends have been extremely welcoming of Ramsey, who's ready to make his stamp on the Steel City-brand of football.
