My favourite No7 Future Renew SPF is only £10 today with this discount code
No7's Future Renew skincare range, which launched in 2023, quickly grew to become the fastest-selling collection in the brand's history, with one item selling every two seconds on the day it launched. In fact, the record-breaking products have even risen to become some of the best-selling skincare products across the entirety of Boots.
Featuring the brand's most scientifically-advanced formulas yet, No7's collection of serums and moisturisers are packed with a 'super-peptide' known as Pepticology to tackle skin damage caused by sun exposure, environmental pollution, stress, and more. In a nutshell, Pepticology tricks the skin into thinking it's damaged, which kickstarts its recovery and renewal process. As a result, it boosts the production of collagen and fibrillin – AKA key components for skin plumpness and elasticity.
🛍️ Product reviewed: No7 Future Renew UV Defence Shield SPF 50⏰ Tested for: Four months⭐ Rating: 5/5💸 Reasons to buy: Absorbs quickly, isn't greasy, doesn't cause breakouts and layers well beneath make-up✋ Reasons to avoid: At full price, it's a little on the expensive side so I'd recommend bagging this deal 💰 Best deal we've found: It's currently reduced at Boots from £24.99 to £19.96, with a further £10 off when you enter the code REVERSE10 at checkout, making it just £9.96.
I spent a week testing No7's new Future Renew SPF50 to see how well it absorbed, how it left my skin feeling and if it was suitable to wear under make-up. Spoiler alert: it's worth every penny.
Having initially launched with a day cream, night cream, serum and eye cream, No7 later added to its Future Renew roster with a Future Renew UV Defence Shield SPF 50 to protect you from sun exposure.
As a beauty journalist, I tell anyone who will listen that wearing SPF is the best thing you can do for your skincare. While I'm a strong advocate of applying it every day, it's especially important to do so now that the weather is getting sunnier.
Bag this rare deal
UV sunlight is the number one cause of visible skin damage, which is why sun cream is so important. In fact, a whopping 80% of premature skin ageing is caused by the sun, causing the appearance of fine lines, uneven skin tone and dryness.
Having tried a ton of different SPFs over the years, I was intrigued to try the No7 sun cream to see if it lived up to the hype, especially considering that one was sold every five seconds on launch day earlier this year. And spoiler alert, after testing it for months, it has quickly become my favourite SPF to wear every day.
No7 states that the sun cream has been "carefully formulated to be lightweight and invisible, fast-absorbing, and shine-free so it sits easily under make-up", which many of us know is no easy feat to find.
Its launch was the result of research conducted by No7 that revealed only 26% of women wear SPF daily, despite almost half sharing their biggest skincare regret it not using sun protection consistently.
Well, after incorporating it into my daily skincare routine, I can confirm that all of the above is true.
It's a thin, fluid consistency that feels like a very lightweight, milky serum that takes just seconds to rub into the skin and leaves you with a subtle radiance, without any added shininess, even in my perpetually oily T-zone.
The ingredients and what they do:
✨ Sodium Hyaluronate: A hydrating agent with anti-inflammatory benefits to reduce dryness ✨ Broad Spectrum UV: Protects from UVA and UVB damage from the sun's rays - UVA causes long term damage such as wrinkles and fine lines, while UVB is responsible for sunburn and skin cancer ✨ Matrixyl 3000+ peptide: Reduces the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles
The SPF is also powerful in providing a defense shield against UV rays in sunlight, formulated with No7's highest and lightest SPF 50 to date. Additionally, it includes an anti-aging peptide, Matrixyl 3000+, to smooth fine lines and as well as hydrating Sodium Hyaluronate.
£9.96 £24.95 at Boots Read my review of the other Future Renew products
Once applied, it leaves a silky texture behind, and there was no pilling or greasiness when trying to apply make-up on top of it, which is a must for daily use.
Overall, I was really impressed with the formula, which provides broad-spectrum coverage (meaning it protects you from both UVA and UVB rays). It has a mild but inoffensive scent, and the SPF 50 means it's great for both everyday use in the UK and when on holiday.
To be completely honest, this SPF is worth every penny in my opinion. While the usual retail price of £24.95 isn't cheap, I strongly believe that SPF is one item in your make-up bag you shouldn't skimp on.
Of course, there are more affordable options available, I'd recommend the Garnier Ambre Solaire Super UV Anti-Age Face Protection Cream SPF50 (£13) and the Bondi Sands Sunscreen Lotion SPF 50+ for Face (£8.99) if you're after something cheaper.
However, while this No7 SPF is on sale for just £9.96, it would still be my first affordable pick.
Firstly, it's on sale for £19.96, down from £24.95, however, there's also an additional £10 discount when you enter the coded REVERSE10 at checkout, which makes it just £9.96 - an absolute bargain!
Less than a tenner is the cheapest I've ever seen it, so snap it up before it sells out or the deal ends.
If you love a beauty box, the No7 Luxury Spring Collection has also just dropped, which is packed with £130.60 of No7 favourites for just £39.95 (including a full size tube of the Future Renew SPF). However, the discount code doesn't work on bundles, but if you're in the market for stocking up your skincare and make-up routine it's still a great value buy.
This No7 beauty box is the ultimate pamper experience, filled with a mix of skincare and cosmetics, including a range of best-sellers.
Or, if you're looking to stock up on a few bits, there is also a three for two deal on selected No7 skincare, where you can get the cheapest item for free.

Out Of Touch Or On A Mission? Patrick's Anti-THC Rant
In a press conference held this week, Texas Lieutenant Governor Dan Patrick continued to staunchly defend Senate Bill 3 (SB 3), legislation aimed at banning all consumable THC products in the state. Patrick spoke to a room full of reporters about the bill's intent to protect the overall health of Texans, particularly for minors in the Lone Star State, by cutting all access to THC products that have continued to grow in popularity since the state-wide legalization of hemp in 2019. On a city-wide level, as previously covered by The Dallas Express, Dallas voters passed Proposition R in November of last year, making possession of under 4 ounces of marijuana the 'lowest priority' for local law enforcement. However, both efforts have continued to receive pushback from Patrick and other leaders like Attorney General Ken Paxton. Paxton's office has even sued a handful of municipalities for approving the relaxed laws on marijuana enforcement. 'This unconstitutional action by municipalities demonstrates why Texas must have a law to 'follow the law.' It's quite simple: the legislature passes every law after a full debate on the issues, and we don't allow cities the ability to create anarchy by picking and choosing the laws they enforce,' Paxton said in a press release published last year. SB 3, which has passed both legislative chambers, now seeks to ban all forms of THC, including Delta-8 and Delta-9 variants, currently sold regularly in gas stations and 'smoke shops,' while exempting 'non-intoxicating' cannabinoids like CBD and CBG. However, some details surrounding the bill seem to remain a bit cloudy. The bill will also allegedly allow for the state to maintain and continue running its Compassionate Use Medical Marijuana Program, allowing limited medical use of low-THC cannabis products. However, Patrick has not yet clarified if the bill will impact the application process for the program. Critics argue that the ban could have significant economic repercussions, as previously reported by The Dallas Express, potentially dismantling Texas's $8 billion hemp industry and cutting off nearly 50,000 jobs. 'If this ban is passed, it would criminalize both consumers as well as sellers/distributors. Businesses in Texas would have to stop selling these products altogether, which would likely result in a lot of businesses closing up shop altogether,' Ben Michael, an attorney at Michael & Associates, previously told DX. 'This would also likely mean that larger companies based in other states would be limited with where or who they could sell to, leading to potential legal battles. Consumers in Texas could also face fines or charges for buying these products, even if they are for medical purposes, because it seems as though the ban essentially has no exceptions,' Michael added. Yet, Patrick seems deadset on pushing the ban forward. 'We cannot in good conscience leave Austin without banning THC, which is harming our children, and destroying Texans' lives and families,' The Texas Lieutenant General declared via X. Governor Greg Abbott has yet to say whether he will sign SB 3 into law. If enacted, the ban will take effect in September of this year.

That works out to just under £4.60 per mini. There's no denying the value in this box, as the same travel-sized Laneige Water Bank Blue Hyaluronic Cream Moisturiser usually retails for £19.50. The Milk Makeup Multi-Use Lip + Cheek Cream Stick retails for £22 and the Floral Street Sunflower Pop Eau de Parfum retails for a whopping £29. Now, let's get into some of my favourite items. Firstly, I'm a massive fan of the Milk Lip + Cheek Tint - it has been one of my holy grail make-up products for years. This shade is a lovely light blush that would look great on all skin tones, and I love that it's two-in-one, so you can use it on both your lips and cheeks and be ready to go. It's ideal, especially when you're on your summer holiday and prefer lighter make-up. I also wasn't expecting to like the MAC mascara as much as I do. It has a great dual-sided curved brush that captures every lash for enhanced lift, and I found it offers a buildable, clump-free finish that had instant results. Shop now The Laneige moisturiser was lightweight and fast-absorbing - two standout qualities of a great moisturiser - and I found it kept my skin well hydrated. It also paired well with the Bobbi Brown Vitamin Enriched Face Base primer that is infused with glow-boosting vitamins and hydration heroes. Next onto scents, while the Floral Street Sunflower Pop Eau de Parfum has over 100 five-star reviews with shoppers saying it 'smells amazing' and like 'summer in a bottle', it was a tad too strong for me. It's described as a 'vibrant, sumptuous citrus blend', designed to bring to life the beauty and optimism of Van Gogh's 'Sunflowers'. Milk - Lip + Cheek In The Shade Werk Full Size (6 g) MAC - Stack Elevated Mascara Mini (8 ml) Bobbi Brown - Vitamin Enriched Face Base (15 ml) Laneige - Water Bank Blue Hyaluronic Cream Moisturiser (20 ml) Floral Street - Sunflower Pop EDP (10 ml) Sol De Janeiro - Cheirosa 62 (30 ml) Rituals - The Ritual Of Karma Shimmering Body Oil (30 ml) I much preferred the extremely popular Sol de Janeiro Cheirosa 62 Perfume Mist, which also smells like summer with warming notes of pistachio, almond, salted caramel and vanilla. Lastly, the Rituals Shimmering Body Oil refreshed my dull-looking skin with a subtle shimmer for a healthy, luminous glow. I'll definitely use it when wearing skirts or for special occasions to add a little extra radiance. Shop now Get your hands on 10 luxury skincare and body care heroes from big-name brands like No7, Liz Earle, Byoma and more, and enjoy some well-deserved TLC. Boots launches memory box initiative to help people living with dementia
Boots has launched a nationwide initiative to help people with dementia. The health and beauty retailer has created more than 1,000 multi-sensory memory boxes, which are being distributed to care homes and communities across the UK during Dementia Action Week, which runs from Monday, May 19 to Sunday, May 25. The initiative is based on research by Professor Victoria Tischler and her colleagues from the Universities of Surrey, West London and Nottingham, which highlights the connection between smell, familiar objects and memory. The study, conducted using the Boots Memory Boxes, found that handling familiar objects with distinctive smells and designs can provide well-being benefits for people with dementia, including improved mood, social inclusion and memory retrieval. The memory boxes are filled with items carefully selected by the Boots Archive team, including popular toiletries and soaps, which can remind people of loved ones, and cough medicine or bath salts, which can help them remember times they cared for themselves or others. READ: Dementia wait times in Dorset higher than national average The boxes also feature items with familiar sounds, such as the click of an old powder compact or camera. Many of the items in the boxes were donated by Boots team members, partners and suppliers. Sophie Clapp, Boots company archivist, said: "With over 175 years of history, Boots is a brand that has been part of people's lives through generations. "Through our memory box initiative, we can use our rich history and extensive archive to spark connections between those affected by dementia and their loved ones and carers over shared memories and experiences. "It has been great to see the positive impact the Boots Memory Boxes have had through the research project with Professor Tischler and her team and to see how much the boxes have meant to the care home residents that have received them so far." READ: 'I moved to Weymouth a year ago - It's a great place to live' Professor Victoria Tischler, professor of behavioural science at the University of Surrey, said: "Our research showed clear connections between sensory simulation, memory and well-being. "We built on the established connection between smell and memory to create memory boxes that use recognisable Boots products that stimulate engagement and enhance mood in those affected by dementia. "It's really great that Boots is now rolling out its memory boxes to reach more people with dementia as well as creating a resource for their carers – a group it's so important to support. It's such a simple initiative yet it has a powerful impact that's backed up by research." READ: Dementia-friendly screenings planned at Dorchester cinema One care home that was among the first to receive a Boots Memory Box held an interactive session with their residents. Lucy Atkinson, director at Church Farm Care, Nottingham, said: "During the memory box sessions we've held, I've seen the most remarkable transformation in the people who live with us here. "People living with dementia light up when they smell something familiar from their youth, sparking memories that last beyond the session. "One lady was flooded with happy memories seeing items she remembered from childhood, which prompted her to animatedly share stories with the group. "The sessions have not only brought a lot of joy but also help to access memories that were otherwise lost, memories that help people to remember who they are."
