surprised her with the offer when they were about to discuss their music video 'Inimel'.
She said, 'Lokesh came to me to talk about the Inimel music video, and we were planning to have a meeting in the RKFI office.
"
'The minute he came in, he was like, 'Before our meeting, I wanna tell you something. I'm making this movie, and I want you to do this film'. Soon, he gave me a one-liner too. I was like, 'What is going on…' Usually you get a call from a manager that a director wants to meet you. So, you're prepared,'
Then she concluded, 'Here I am calling this guy for my music video, and he just sprung it onto me.
He was then like, 'think about it, and I would give you a call in a couple of months after the details are figured out'.'
Shruti Haasan has now cleared up the rumours
There were earlier rumours that Shruti would play Rajinikanth's daughter in the film, but she has now cleared up the rumours. She revealed that she is playing the daughter of
Sathyaraj
's character, Rajasekar, and her name in the film is Preethi.
