Feid and Tony Hawk Play PS2 and Share Cereal in Nostalgic ‘Ando XXIL' Video

Feid and Tony Hawk Play PS2 and Share Cereal in Nostalgic ‘Ando XXIL' Video

Yahoo14 hours ago

Few things are more nostalgic than playing your favorite childhood video game. On Thursday night, Feid dropped the video for his single 'Ando XXIL,' on which he delivers bar after bar over a pure hip-hop beat — and lands onscreen ollies on PS2 alongside none other than Tony Hawk.
The retro video captures Feid fully in his rap star bag. It opens with clips of him at a record store flipping through hip-hop vinyl, then playing Tony Hawk's Pro Skater as he reflects on his upbringing in the lyrics. After name-dropping the skate legend, Feid is shown at home, playing PS2 with Hawk himself as they laugh over their video game ollies and tricks.

The video jumps between scenes of the Colombian star traveling the world: riding a boat with friends, visiting Germany, Austria, and Spain, and posing with cars in various locations. Hawk is seen nodding along to Feid's rapid-fire bars in other clips. The video ends with the two sharing bowls of cereal before Hawk rides a skateboard off the dining table.
'Ando XXIL' follows the musician's more electronic-leaning single 'Dallax' featuring Ty Dolla $ign. He launched the new era with 'Nos Desconoximos' in late February after November's Sky Rompiendo collaborative project Las 9 de Ferxxo y Sky Rompiendo. He also joined Brray, De La Rose, and Yan Block on 'Te Colaboro (Remix)' on May 16.
'What can I tell you, love? We are so happy because the first song of the new project dropped,' Feid said on Instagram Stories after the release of the album's first single in February. 'Ferxxo is coming with a new album… It's a special project because after 10 years, it'll be dropping.'

Rock Icon Reveals Why He Wasn't Happy With His Biggest Album

Rock Icon Reveals Why He Wasn't Happy With His Biggest Album originally appeared on Parade. Even The Boss has his creative what-ifs. In a candid new interview with Rolling Stone ahead of the release of Tracks II: The Lost Albums—his highly anticipated box set arriving Friday—Bruce Springsteen opened up about his complicated feelings toward the megahit 1984 release, Born in the U.S.A. And though the record cemented him as a global superstar and sold over 30 million copies worldwide, it wasn't exactly the album he envisioned. "It became the record I made, not necessarily the record that I was interested in making," Springsteen, 75, admitted. "I was interested in taking Nebraska and making a full record that had somewhat that same feeling." Fans familiar with both records might see the thread Springsteen was after. "If you hear 'My Hometown' and you hear 'Born in the U.S.A.,' they were sort of the bookends I intended," he explained. "And the rest of the stuff was… just what I had at the time. Those were the songs I wrote. Those were the songs I recorded." In the liner notes for Tracks II, Springsteen makes his feelings even more clear, revealing that he "wasn't happy" with the album and felt it didn't "connect" the way his earlier work did. "From conception to execution, it was not necessarily the record that in my mind I had planned on," he said. "But that's the way creativity works. You go in the studio, you have an idea. It's not necessarily what you come out with." When Rolling Stone reporter Andy Greene likened the album to a collection of dispatches from the Reagan-era America, Springsteen agreed—but noted that he had something a bit darker in mind than the anthemic project Born in the U.S.A came to be known as. "The themes of Nebraska are in there—in 'Downbound Train,' they're in there," he said, though somewhat "disguised into pop music." As for what could have been, Springsteen offers a glimpse of that on Tracks II, particularly with the project L.A. Garage Sessions—an entire unreleased album recorded between Nebraska and Born in the U.S.A. "I enjoyed the recording and the experience of Nebraska, and thought I might continue in that vein with a small rhythm section, still very lo-fi, and a new group of songs," he said. "At the time I wasn't sure where I was going with Born in the U.S.A. I had half the record, but I didn't have the other half. And so it was just a record that happened in between those two records." Though Tracks II is just days from its release, Springsteen has more in the vault ready and waiting. Tracks III, yet another five-album collection of unreleased material, is finished, the rock legend revealed, though no release date has yet been announced. Tracks II: The Lost Albums drops June 27. Cardi B Announces Her Sophomore Album "Am I The Drama?"

"Hearst Magazines and Yahoo may earn commission or revenue on some items through these links." Am I The Drama?, Cardi B's newest album, will finally be released on September 19. It's her first full length project since her breakout debut album Invasion of Privacy in 2018. It has not been revealed yet what collaborators or special guest features will appear on the project. Bardi is back, everyone! Cardi B's fans have been waiting quite literally years for the anticipated follow up to her breakout debut album Invasion of Privacy. Now it seems, the wait is finally over. On Monday, the Bronx-born rapper announced (to much internet fanfare) that her sophomore album titled Am I The Drama? will be released everywhere on September 19, 2025. In true Cardi B fashion, the accompanying album cover is already iconic. For the image, the rapper is dressed in a red bodysuit complete with a swooping attached hood, matching fishnet tights, and some majorly high platform pumps. To add to the drama, Cardi B is surrounded by flying crows and a cloudy sky while she strikes a pose. Cardi B teased the release one day prior for fans, releasing a teaser video clip that helped set the tone for what lies ahead for the upcoming album. Crows also appeared in the quick vignette, following Cardi as she struts through a romantic garden and even appearing on the bust of her black gown. She also released the first single from her sophomore effort last week, an upbeat single girls anthem titled 'Outside'. The rapper opened up to Rolling Stone last year about the long delay between her first album and Am I The Drama? stating that she wanted to ensure that the project she released would ultimately be up to not just her standards, but also fully reflect how she's evolved as an artist. She also welcomed three children with her now estranged husband, rapper Offset, in the time between Invasion of Privacy and now. 'I'm a different person every single day,' she told the outlet of the creative input that went into the record. 'When I'm in a good mood and I'm with my friends, [I'm] like, 'Damn, I want my shit to be played in this club.' But then I might be mad with my man, so it's like now I want to do this song. But then I want to do a pop record. I want to do my sing-y shit.' Here's to hoping it will be worth the wait. Watch this space for updates on Cardi B's second album.
