Watch: Patriots fans react to Stefon Diggs arriving at training camp
The veteran four-time Pro Bowler suffered an ACL injury that ended his season prematurely last October with the Houston Texans. He has been working hard behind the scenes to return before the start of the season, and that hard work led to him being available on the first day of training camp.
Before the injury, Diggs was coming off six straight 1,000-yard receiving seasons. He has been widely viewed as one of the most consistent and productive wide receivers in the league for years. Patriots fans are hopeful he can bring that same level of success during his run in New England.
Diggs had a productive 2024 campaign leading up to the injury in a loaded Texans' offense, recording 47 catches for 496 yards and three touchdowns.
A return to form for the star wideout would add tremendous value to the Patriots' offense. Combining his natural playmaking abilities with offensive coordinator Josh McDaniels' play-calling could be special to watch.

Kelvin Sheppard praises development of Lions CB Terrion Arnold
As a rookie, cornerback Terrion Arnold had a fine season. He flashed some potential and built a nice foundation to continue developing. Year 2 could see even more good things from Arnold and defensive coordinator Kelvin Sheppard is very excited to see his progression. During his media availability Thursday, Sheppard praised the second-year cornerback out of Alabama when discussing how he wants his defense to dictate offenses and discussed the depth of his secondary. "Terrion Arnold took a huge leap in my opinion this offseason," Sheppard said. "He progressed during his rookie year. But he's come in, not only this offseason, but this training camp looking like a different guy. His body's more developed, but also from the neck up, the mental aspect of the game. He's seeing it faster. He's feeling the routes faster. So that's a guy I've already seen the leap in." Arnold started 15 games last season as a rookie and played in 16. He had 60 tackles and 10 passes defended. If his development continues at the rate Sheppard is suggesting, the sky seems to be the limit for Arnold, who will have a new running mate in DJ Reed this season. The former Jet signed in free agency to effectively replace Carlton Davis, who left for the New England Patriots. Having Reed will take some pressure off of Arnold, but Arnold is ready to show he is more than capable of taking on opposing No. 1 wide receivers.

MIAMI GARDENS — After missing all of last season following knee surgery, Bradley Chubb was asked his level of excitement to return to the field for the Miami Dolphins in 2025. "Ten out of 10," Chubb said with a smile during organized team activities. Chubb has 13.5 sacks in 24 games as a Dolphin. When healthy, he gets to the quarterback and creates turnovers. There's a reason why the Dolphins yielded a first-round pick to the Broncos for the two-time Pro Bowler in 2022. "He loves the game," outside linebackers coach Ryan Crow said. "He wants to be involved and he's been cooking these last couple weeks. He's getting himself ready and certainly he's eager to rock and roll." Why Bradley Chubb is sixth-best Miami Dolphins player Chubb has power and speed and also holds up against the run. Chubb, 28, is a complete outside linebacker. He's just had injury woes. "I'm a warrior, man," Chubb said of what he's learned about himself. "Not even in the sense of football, just in the sense of life. When things came and knocked me down and I had setbacks, in the moment it's like, 'Oh man,' but when you take a step back and really see it for what it is and see what God is trying to tell you in that moment, that helped me out a lot throughout this process." Chubb will be a key team leader on defense this season. Chubb is well-liked by his teammates and delivers consistent effort. The combination of Chubb, Jaelan Phillips and Chop Robinson gives Miami a chance to offset an inexperienced and depleted secondary. Telling stat In 2023, his last healthy season, Chubb led the NFL with six forced fumbles. He has forced 13 fumbles in his career. How we see Bradley Chubb's Dolphins future Chubb took a pay cut this offseason to avoid release. He wants to be in Miami. And certainly Chubb wants to show Miami and the NFL he can stay healthy in 2025. In an ideal world, Chubb bounces back and stays on board for 2026, with the team revisiting his future before the 2027 season, his final under contract with the club.
