Metro29-07-2025
The following article contains spoilers from an episode of Emmerdale that hasn't aired on ITV1 yet, but can be viewed on ITVX.
Dylan Penders (Fred Kettle) has returned to Emmerdale.
We were first introduced to the teen earlier this year, when an episode of the ITV soap aired that revealed what happened to April Windsor (Amelia Flanagan) while she was living on the streets.
Dylan was one of the few people who looked out for April while she was homeless. Her time living rough ended when she was found by a member of the public and rushed to hospital. When Marlon Dingle (Mark Charnock) and Rhona Goskirk (Zoe Henry) arrived, they learnt April had given birth to a stillborn baby girl.
April then returned to Mill Cottage but because of this, she never got to say a proper goodbye to her friend.
Dylan then made his way to the village in search of April a few weeks later.
He lived with April for a little while as he attempted to get clean from drugs. However, due to the fact Marlon was very focused on rebuilding his relationship with his daughter, it felt like Dylan was getting in the way.
It led him to planting drugs from the vets on Dylan, making it seem as though he had lied to April. Dylan then made a deal with Marlon, which saw him pay for rehab on the condition Dylan would not tell April the truth.
During this story, many fans of the ITV soap grew to love Dylan, which meant plenty of them were thrilled to see him tuning into the latest episode. More Trending
Dylan had been sneaking about in the village that morning and it didn't take April very long to find him. As they caught up, April smiled as she learnt that Dylan had turned his life around as a result of rehab, and was now living in Hotten.

She was very pleased but as they parted ways, Dylan made his way to the Cricket Pavilion. He pulled his trouser leg up and attempted to nurse the injury he sustained yesterday, when he was stabbed by Kyle (Huey Quinn) during the barn break-in.
The makeshift bed under Dylan confirms that he has lied to April, and sadly hasn't turned his life around.

EastEnders fans 'figure out' Ben Mitchell twist as pictures confirm return

With Ben Mitchell and Stuart Highway returning to EastEnders, as confirmed by the BBC soap with new spoilers and pictures, fans think they know some twists that may air Fans of EastEnders are convinced there's a twist coming amid Ben Mitchell's confirmed return to the BBC soap. Actor Max Bowden will reprise his role later this year for a short stint. ‌ He isn't alone though, as Stuart Highway, played by actor Ricky Champ, is also briefly returning to Walford. Both characters are returning for the funeral of Stuart and Callum Highway's father Jonno, spoilers have revealed. ‌ It comes as the soap confirmed a death was on the cards for Jonno, with cast filming for the funeral this week. Callum will be reunited with husband Ben amid his secret affair with Johnny Carter, with fans predicting it will all kick off. ‌ But that's not all they are predicting, with fans convinced the double return will lead to some big news or a huge plot. Viewers believe Ben's brief return could stem into a full-time comeback in one of three ways, amid him still being in prison in the US. While Max is only the reprising the role for a short stint this autumn, fans are convinced he could be back later on. Some fans wondered if Ben will be transferred to a prison in the UK, while some also think he might be released and will return to Walford. ‌ A third theory has seen fans guessing a dramatic twist at the funeral will see Ben escape and go on the run, potentially returning later down the line. The soap confirmed "a lot can happen in a short space of time" teasing drama when Ben is back onscreen. So will something huge happen? One fan predicted online: "I think if they are bring him back it is gonna include some type of escape plan." Another viewer said: "I did wonder given there's no guard with him in the pics if he might do a runner mid funeral lol." ‌ A third fan commented: "I do hope they don't go down the route of Ben planning some type of elaborate escape whilst at the funeral." As for the prison transfer, one fan said: "I think he gets transferred back to the UK." One fan echoed this saying: "I agree," as another wrote: "I was wondering this, it would be away to have him onscreen a bit more if he was to return full-time." Viewers also discussed the potential of a reunion for Ballum, the ship name fans created for Ben and Callum. A theory read: "The potential for Callum/Johnny's affair to get exposed, and Ben to ditch Callum for it, is pure soap. Plus whatever happens is just the set-up for when Ben gets released early next year and we get an eventual Ballum reunion. "Because that IS happening." Another fan replied: "Hoping it leads to Ben back full time and all is forgiven and Ballum reunite cos I don't see Callum and Johnny working." Chris Hughes reveals wholesome way he finally admitted his feelings to JoJo Siwa

Love Island star Chris Hughes was initially 'confused' about his feelings for JoJo Siwa, but soon figured out a way to tell her during his trip to the US for her birthday Love Island star Chris Hughes revealed the sweet way he revealed his romantic feelings to JoJo Siwa after meeting on Celebrity Big Brother earlier this year. The duo became fast friends when they appeared on the reality programme in April, and many fans were gobsmacked over their lovey-dovey antics. ‌ Barely any time passed after the final aired when JoJo, 22, dumped her partner Kath Ebbs at the show's afterparty, with fans convinced it wouldn't be long before the singer and Chris became more than friends. The couple have given fans insights into their life together in recent months and this week teased that singer JoJo is now officially the former Love Island star's 'girlfriend'. ‌ Chris, 32, also dragged fans into their intimate life by revealing JoJo named his testicles 'Jimmy and Timmy'. It comes after Gary Lineker 'signs a huge deal with ITV to host new show' after BBC exit. ‌ In a new interview, Chris took fans back to the beginning as he discussed how he told her about his feelings towards her at a hotel. The TV personality travelled to the US to surprise JoJo for her birthday when they took their friendship to the next level. He said he was initially 'confused' about how he felt, but suddenly 'wasn't confused anymore. "I knew I needed to write it down to explain to her how I was feeling. "I went to Florida thinking 'I really like this person', but I was slightly confused about the feelings. I had already written her birthday card before I flew over. I took all these presents over for her. They were fun and sentimental gifts rather than anything of monetary value." Chris continued to The Sun: "But the night before her birthday, I realised my feelings had changed. I told her, 'I've got to go do something. I'll be back in half an hour.' I went to the hotel reception and borrowed a pen, and came back up to the room." ‌ The reality star loved her as a pal in the beginning, but his feelings soon developed to something more by the end of the series. It comes after Chris was forced to hit back at trolls who claimed he was using the dancer for fame and pointed out the age gap between the two. He took to Instagram over the weekend to share a series of romantic snaps as the couple come to terms with their long distance romance. He captioned the post: "Just everything - missing you." ‌ The reality TV star received plenty of gushing comments, yet one troll commented: "Does anybody else find this creepy." Chris was having non of it as he snapped back: "No Pauline, you're miserable, p**s off kindly." The woman continued to poke Chris as she quipped: "lol we see long it lasts." Chris responded again: "yeah again, you don't need to speak, you don't follow me, respectfully do one thank you." However, Chris was hit was a comment from a different troll who posted: "Mate sort yourself out. You would do anything for fame." A fan came to the Love Islanders defence as they hit back: "oh liz, imagine hating someone who's just living and happy. Misery aren't you."

ITV pulls the plug on legendary presenter's big TV comeback by AXING show after just one series - despite star being 'convinced he was on to a winning idea'

ITV bosses have pulled the plug on Noel Edmonds ' latest TV project, Kiwi Adventure, after just one series. The three-part special followed the former Deal Or No Deal host, 76, as he showcased his new life in New Zealand alongside wife Elizabeth Davies, 55. According to The Sun, Noel had hoped the show would become a fixture on the channel – but that dream has now been dashed. A spokesperson for ITV confirmed to the Daily Mail on Thursday: 'There are no current plans for more new episodes but audiences can enjoy the show on ITVX.' The news reportedly comes as a blow to Noel, who believed he was onto a winning formula. A TV insider told The Sun: 'It's a blow to Noel as he was convinced he was on to a winning idea. 'There was a great buzz around the series and it was well received by both viewers and critics alike.' Dubbed the Clarkson's Farm of New Zealand, Kiwi Adventure offered a glimpse into Noel's quirky passions, including his fascination with crystal healing and sustainable living. However, The Sun reported that sources close to the star said extreme weather played a major role in the show's downfall. They revealed: 'River Haven has been hit badly by flooding, it's made working on the estate almost impossible.' The source added that meant filming would have been 'seriously hampered', but as far as Noel is concerned, the show has been 'put on ice'. This marks yet another setback for Noel, whose last big TV comeback was back in 2018 when he entered I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! as ITV's highest-paid contestant – only to be the first star voted off. Noel first shot to fame in the 1970s as a BBC Radio 1 DJ, known for his cheeky on-air style and appeal to younger listeners. His radio success quickly led to a transition into TV, where he became one of the most recognisable faces on British screens. The news reportedly comes as a blow to Noel, who believed he was onto a winning formula. A TV insider told The Sun: 'It's a blow to Noel as he was convinced he was on to a winning idea' He became a household name thanks to long-running hits like Multi-Coloured Swap Shop, The Late, Late Breakfast Show, and Noel's House Party, which introduced the iconic character Mr Blobby and turned Noel into a Saturday night TV staple throughout the 80s and 90s. Earlier this year, ITV teased Noel's Kiwi Adventure as part of its new slate, giving fans a sneak peek into his rural life abroad after leaving the UK in 2018. Noel and wife Liz moved to New Zealand in 2019, where they now own an 800-acre estate in the riverside town of Ngatimoti. The couple have since launched a hospitality business that includes a vineyard, general store, coffee cart, restaurant, and pub.
