This Morning welcomed a new presenting duo on Monday, but ITV viewers were left divided over the pair
This Morning returned to our screens on Monday (11 August), with Andi Peters and Emma Willis stepping in as hosts for the ITV daytime favourite.
The pair have taken over presenting duties while regulars Cat Deeley and Ben Shephard are away on their summer holidays.
Andi and Emma launched into the show by teasing upcoming segments, including the day's top stories and a culinary segment with chef Elliott Grover. It was during this preview that Emma dropped a bombshell.
"Elliott, I would say that looks delicious, but I don't eat fish," she quipped, prompting an animated response from Andi. "Wow, wow, wow. Stop the show!" he declared, clearly taken aback by her admission.
"You don't eat fish?! Never, ever ever?! I can't believe it!" Andi pressed on. "So, when they come up to you in the restaurant and say 'Dietary requirements?' you say 'I don't eat fish'?"

Emma went on to detail her personal choice, noting that it wasn't out of necessity. She reminisced, "I did eat a prawn on this show once! Just because I'd never eaten a prawn, and I was like, I'll give it a go.
"So, I might have a sample today, seeing as it's you, Elliott, I might."
Viewer reactions to Andi and Emma hosting This Morning were mixed, with comments flooding social media, reports the Mirror.
"I've switched off already #ThisMorning," one viewer posted on X, while another complained: "Irritating/over the top Andi Peters.. time to switch over #thismorning."
A third This Morning viewer expressed their irritation on social media, commenting: "He's annoying me already and not even two minutes in #thismorning."

Emma and Andi delivered a packed programme to ITV audiences on Monday. The broadcast featured an interview with TOWIE celebrities Amy Childs and Harry Derbidge, a discussion about weight loss injections, and a woman's personal account of her fluctuating weight due to the jabs.
The presenting pairs were also joined by Gyles Brandreth and Tim Campbell for a round-up of the latest news and headlines, and Phil Vickery led a segment from Leicester that delved into Walker's crisps' upcoming new flavours.

Sharon went on: "He said he'd never met anyone that had the aura that you have, because your aura is one of elegance, and just pure, just genuine talent. Fool Me Once star Michelle will take on the role of DI Emma Crane, while Line of Duty legend Nigel Boyle is a forensic technician called Brett Shergill. They aren't the only famous faces that viewers will recognise as Black Mirror's Joe Armstrong has landed the role of a ice-skating coach called Kyle Fraiser. They will be joined by the likes of The Last Kingdom's Ian Hart, Nathan Mensah, Passenger's Matilda Freeman, House of the Dragon 's Gavin Spokes, Last Tango in Halifax's Josh Bolt and White Lines star Ceallach Spellman. 'The drama dives into secrets, suspicion and systemic corruption - all under the surface of this seemingly quiet town,' the official ITV press release states. TV's Director of Drama, Polly Hill, has commissioned the new six-part series which has been produced by Quay Street Productions. Fans hopefully shouldn't have to wait that long until it hits our screens as filming will commence in the UK's capital and the surrounding areas. 'The series begins when the body of teenage figure skater Sophie Madsen is discovered, sending shockwaves through the town of Wakestead. 'As DI Crane (Keegan) and DI Radley (Booth) dig deeper, what starts as a tragic death, spirals into a tangled web of lies, institutional cover-ups, and moral compromise. 'As the clock ticks and trust fractures, Crane must navigate both a murder investigation and the treacherous politics inside her own team,' the press release adds. Polly Hill said: 'The Blame is a brilliant new crime thriller full of surprising twists and a compelling investigation that also cleverly tackles police corruption, exploitation and misogyny as the thriller unravels. 'Megan is such a wonderful and clever writer, and with Michelle Keegan in the lead and Nicola Shindler at the helm, this is going to be an unmissable drama and one I'm very proud to have on ITV.' The show has been written and executively produced by the woman behind Her Fault and Wolf Megan Gallagher. The former Corrie star gave birth to her baby girl back in March this year. They announced the happy news that they were expecting back in December 2024. The last TV show that she starred in was Netflix's Fool Me Once, where she played Maya Stern in the drama. That was back in 2024. She's also still playing the roles of Kate Thorne in Ten Pound Poms and Erin Croft in Brassic.
