The Galaxy S25 Edge just got a whole lot more tempting at $300 off on Amazon

Looking for an ultra-slim Android phone with Galaxy AI on deck? The Galaxy S25 Edge is the one for you — and it just got way more exciting at Amazon. Right now, you can get one particular 512GB model for 25% off, saving you a huge $300.
$300 off (25%)
Amazon's exclusive sale has knocked the Galaxy S25 Edge down to a much more attractive price. Right now, you can grab the 512GB model in Titanium Icyblue for $300 off, which brings it very close to its Prime Day price. Don't miss out. This offer is not available in your area. Sure, the phone was $315 off for Prime members this July 8-11, but the current promo is almost as good. Plus, it's open to everyone, not just Prime members. However, since only the Titanium Icyblue is $300 off, we think the current deal might not stick around for long, so keep that in mind. This Samsung phone blends next-gen AI smarts and superb performance in a slim and refined body. But it's not just the looks that turn heads. The handset features an excellent 6.7-inch OLED display with a 120Hz variable refresh rate. With ultra-high brightness and accurate colors, it delivers a stunning visual experience.
Under the hood, the high-end device packs a Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy chip, promising plenty of potential for all sorts of tasks. Still, as you can see from our Galaxy S25 Edge review, the model is slightly less powerful than the Galaxy S25+, which has the same SoC. What about camera capabilities? Samsung makes no compromises here, equipping the S25 Edge with a 200MP main sensor that delivers vibrant colors, excellent dynamic range, and sharp detail. Portrait snapshots look just as good, and although the handset lacks a dedicated telephoto camera, it still produces great results at 2x and 4x zoom.
When you factor in the multiple AI features and long software support, the Galaxy S25 Edge shapes up as a pretty solid flagship. And now, it's way more tempting at $300 off on Amazon — a deal Samsung and Best Buy don't match. Both merchants give you a more modest $220 discount, so Amazon is clearly the retailer to pick. Hurry up and save while the deal lasts.

Get the budget Lenovo Tab M11 with a stylus for $79 off in this exclusive sale

Whether it's for learning, entertainment, or casual use, budget tablets are a smart and affordable way to get things done. If you're on the lookout for a budget device that meets your essential needs, the Lenovo Tab M11 is worth your attention. Normally priced at around $239.99 when bundled with the Lenovo Tab Pen, it's $79 off right now, making it an even better deal. $79 off (33%) Lenovo's budget-friendly Tab M11 is once again way more affordable at the official store. The device with 128GB of storage is bundled with a stylus and goes for $79 off, making it an ideal pick for entertainment, learning, or casual use. Buy at Lenovo Sure, Best Buy launched a more attractive bargain last month, but guess what: it's not live right now. You won't find a similar promo at Amazon, either. In other words, if you don't wish to spend over $162 on your next everyday entertainment device, now's the time to this bad boy isn't exactly a spring chicken, but it remains a very decent pick for users on a budget. For starters, it boasts an 11-inch WUXGA display with a decidedly sharp 1920x1200 resolution and 90Hz refresh rate. Quality visuals aren't all it brings to the table — this Android tablet also features a quad speaker system tuned for Dolby Atmos. Moreover, it packs a reasonably powerful MediaTek Helio G88 processor, which delivers a smooth everyday experience. You won't get insane potential for heavy multitasking here, but the device is still more than adequate for casual use. This affordable iPad A16 alternative also features a 7,040mAh battery that should last up to 10 hours with video playback. On top of that, you get a pen in the box to make your learning sessions smoother. Sure, it doesn't exactly shine on the software support front, arriving with Android 13 out of the box and receiving Android 15 as a final OS upgrade. Then again, security patches are promised until 2028, so at least that's good news. However you look at it, the Tab M11 is a surprisingly well-rounded tablet. And now that you can get the 128GB model for a hefty $79 off, it's even more tempting. Get yours at the Lenovo Store and save big while it lasts. CPU on the current iPhone line performs 385 times better than the one that powered first iPhone

The iPhone has undoubtedly come a long way since it was first released more than five years ago. There is no question that the world changed with the launch of the iPhone on June 29, 2007. As the proud owner of the OG iPhone in 2007, I could see that once Apple replaced the iPhone's connectivity with AT&T's slow-as-molasses EDGE with cutting-edge 3G speeds, the device would become a mobile monster. Things were so slow with EDGE connectivity that the only way to watch a YouTube video clearly was when you could find a Wi-Fi connection around you. Even worse, if you were using the Safari browser, you could not make or receive a call at the same time. If someone tried to call you while you were checking out the New York Times website, for example, your incoming calls went right to voicemail. In the case of an emergency, that is not good. The A18 Pro powers the iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max. | Image credit-Apple Since the release of the OG iPhone, Apple has greatly improved the battery capacity from 1400mAh to 4685mAh (with the iPhone 16 Pro Max). The OG iPhone was also equipped with 128MB of RAM compared to 8GB on all iPhone 16 models (for Apple Intelligence purposes). The rear camera on the OG iPhone was 2MP compared to the 48MP Wide camera on the iPhone 16 Pro Max (along with the 48MP Ultra-wide camera and the 12MP Telephoto camera). What about the processor? The original iPhone was powered by an ARM11-based SoC from Samsung with a clock speed of 412MHz. For the iPhone 3GS released in 2009, Apple used an ARM Cortex-A8 core Samsung CPU (APL0298C05). Apple moved to a 64-bit architecture for the first time with the A7 chipset used to power the iPhone 5S in 2013. The chip was built by Samsung. The next year, Apple made a shift to TSMC for the A8 chipset used on the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus. This SoC was built on TSMC's 20nm process node. The A9 was a bit unusual since both Samsung and TSMC built the chipset for Apple. The latter built it on its 16nm process node while Samsung used its 14nm process. Despite Samsung's use of a slightly more advanced process node, one benchmark test revealed that TSMC's version of the A9 SoC provided iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus users as much as two additional hours of battery life. This led to the so-called "Chipgate" scandal, and some of those buying new iPhones were demanding a model using TSMC's chipset. We even showed you how to determine which SoC was inside your iPhone 6s or iPhone 6s Plus. Apple said the actual variation in battery life between the two chipsets was 2%-3% in TSMC's favor and this was actually backed up by benchmark tests. According to Japanese tech blog PC Watch, using Geekbench to monitor the performance of iPhone CPUs, starting with the OG model in 2007, there is an annual improvement rate of 40%. Overall, from the OG iPhone to the iPhone 16 series, the iPhone CPU has increased in performance by 384.9x. With the improvements we could see with the A19/A19 Pro application processors, the improvement from the OG iPhone to the latest iPhone series could take the improvement to 500x or higher. The A19/A19 Pro will both be built using TSMC's third-generation 3nm process node. Next year's A20 application processor should be the first A-series chips built by TSMC using its 2nm process node. As the process node gets smaller, so does the size of the transistors used on a chip. That increases the transistor density, which measures the number of transistors that can be packed into a specific area of a chip. This number is expressed as millions of transistors per square millimeter (MTx/mm²). A higher transistor density means a chip is, in theory, more powerful and energy efficient than chips with a lower transistor density. After 2nm, TSMC is expected to start mass production of 1.4nm chips during the second half of 2028.
