Ozzy Osbourne's most hilarious reality TV moments on The Osbournes as star dies aged 76
The Osbournes are often credited as being the pioneers of reality TV - making way for huge names such as The Kardashians, which aired two years after Ozzy's show ended.
The Osbournes debuted in 2002, airing 52 iconic episodes until it wrapped up in 2005. The show followed the life of Black Sabbath frontman Ozzy Osbourne and his wife Sharon, alongside their two children Kelly and Jack. The couple also share eldest daughter Aimee together, who chose not to appear in the hit show.
Last night, the tragic news broke that Ozzy Osbourne had died aged 76, just weeks after his farewell gig at Villa Park in his hometown of Birmingham.
The Mirror looks back at some of the star's most iconic moments from his MTV reality TV show...
Fighting the TV remote
One scene that will always pop into The Osbournes fans' heads when they think about the show is Ozzy's one man fight with his TV. The show first aired in 2002, five years before the release of the first ever iPhone, so we can't exactly blame Ozzy for being a huge technophobe.
As usual, Ozzy sat down on his couch to enjoy some down time but it was instantly ruined by the weather channel. "What the f**k am I doing?," he exclaimed. "I'm stuck on the weather channel!" Ozzy then became over stimulated when the phone started ringing amid all the chaos, as he called on his son Jack Osbourne for help.
"I'm a very simple man," he told the camera. "You gotta have computer knowledge to turn the f*****g TV on and off!"
"Jack!," he continued to shout. "Why can't I get a normal f*****g TV man!", he shouted about their new system. Placing his hands on his head, an overwhelmed Ozzy shouted: "I pressed the one button and the shower starts going on. What is this? Nightmare in Beverley Hills!"
Ozzy had enough of the dogs
Another scene that will forever have Osbourne fans in tears is when Ozzy lost it after one of the families troublesome dogs urinated on the carpet.
In a clip which still does the rounds on TikTok today, the Black Sabbath star could be heard screaming: "Who p**sed? Who p**sed on my f*****g carpet?! That b*****d dog man, I'm going to throw it in the pool!", he screamed as he frantically ran around the living room.
He then began chasing after the dogs as he ordered: "Get the f**k out of my house, go on! Get out!", as he continued to call his dog a "terrorist". He then continued to ask his wife Sharon why their dogs thought it was okay to do that, as she proceeded to calmly spray the carpet.
Ozzy continued his hilarious rant: "It's not like it was just a little squirt! He must have an extra tank!", as Sharon responded: "It's like a camel."
Ozzy sets the blender on fire
Even Rockstars make their own smoothies - but Ozzy may have regretted his decision after the hilarious moment.
After moments of struggling, Ozzy finally got the blender to work and sat down to watch some TV as his delicious pink drink prepared in the background. However, things didn't go as 'smoothly' as he may had hoped as viewers witnessed smoke coming out the bottom of the machine.
None the wiser, Ozzy settled down for a nap on the sofa as chaos erupted in his kitchen and the rockstar woke up to the sound of beeping noises. The most hilarious moment came when he nonchalantly went over to his blender and poured out his smoothie like nothing had happened.
Many have described the moment as one of their favourite reality moments of all time - and it's no wonder.
'Your name's going to be dead if you touch my chicken'
Ozzy's love hate relationships with his pets continues as he defended his chicken from his cat. In the hilarious clip, Ozzy could be seen prepping some tasty chicken, as his cat watched on from the kitchen counter.
The feline then stood up, looking tempted by Ozzy's meal - but of course, the star wasn't having any of it.
"Now f**k off!" he exclaimed. He then began listing a number of names before concluding: "Whatever your f*****g name is."
"Your name's going to be dead if you touch this chicken!" he warned the poor cat.
Ozzy's brutal warning to Kelly and Jack
Sibling rivalry is one that can't be beat, and Kelly and Jack entertained fans for years with their rollercoaster sibling relationship. The brother and sister duo had a number of heated arguments, one of the most memorable being over Christina Aguilera.
Although their mum Sharon may have taken a softer approach with her kids, Ozzy was always straight to the point however, as he'd exclaim: "STOP FIGHTING!"
"Let me give you a little bit of a warning here. This will end in f*****g tears. I suggest you stop acting like a pair of d***s right now! Quit stop!" That sure told them!

The single, by animated group HUNTR/X, has jumped four places after being's last week's number four. In the albums chart, Merseyside band The K's have clinched their first number one album with Pretty On The Internet. The KPop Demon Hunters soundtrack also spends a sixth consecutive week at the top of the Official Compilations Chart, the Official Charts Company said. It is the first time a K-pop artist has gone to number one in the Official Singles Chart since 2012, when PSY's Gangnam Style became the UK's first-ever K-pop number one. Two more tracks from KPop Demon Hunters also make the top 20, Saja Boys, Andrew Choi and Neckwav's Your Idol jumps four places to reach number 10, while Soda Pop leaps six to 11. This week's highest new entry comes courtesy of Drake and Central Cee, whose single Which One has gone straight to number four in the charts. US singer Justin Bieber has slipped down from number one to two with Daisies, while Dior by producer MK, known as Marc Kinchen, featuring singer-songwriter Chrystal, is a number three and US singer Sabrina Carpenter is in fifth place with her chart-topper Manchild. It is a second top 10 for US singer Tinashe, as Disco Lines' reworking of No Broke Boys reaches number eight. The death of rock legend Ozzy Osbourne last month has led to his band Black Sabbath's back catalogue continuing to surge in popularity in the charts this week. Black Sabbath's Paranoid reaches number 20 and Iron Man is at number 48 in the singles chart. Osbourne's Crazy Train also reaches number 25. Earlestown-formed indie rock group The K's previously enjoyed top five success with their 2024 debut I Wonder If The World Knows? Theirs is also the best-selling album of the week on vinyl, the most-downloaded album of the week and the best seller in UK independent record shops. As Oasis prepare for their fourth and fifth gigs at London's Wembley Stadium this weekend, the Gallagher brothers scoop the UK's most-streamed album of the week with Time Flies… 1994-2009 at number two, while (What's The Story) Morning Glory? is at number three and Definitely Maybe is in sixth place. Paul Weller achieves his 24th top 10 album as a solo artist with Find El Dorado at number five, just behind US singer Alex Warren at number four with You'll Be Alright Kid (Chapter 1). Osbourne's legacy can also be seen in the albums chart, with his Memoirs Of A Madman returning to the top 40 at 32 for the first time since its 2014 release. Black Sabbath's 2016 compilation album The Ultimate Collection climbs to its highest ever position at 14, while their chart-topping 1970 album Paranoid returns to the top 40 for the first time in 45 years at 38. Meanwhile queen of pop Madonna notches her 26th top 40 album this week with Veronica Electronica (23), a remix album featuring rare material from her Ray Of Light era. And synth-pop pioneer Gary Numan celebrates his 17th top 40 album of his career with A Perfect Circle at 34. Martin Talbot, chief executive officer at Official Charts, said: 'It's 13 years since PSY's Gangnam Style became the first K-Pop Number 1 in the UK, way back in October 2012, but this week represents another landmark moment for the globally dominating South Korean genre. 'While the KPop Demon Hunters soundtrack tops the Official Compilations Chart again this week, the film also claims Number 1 in the Official Singles Chart through HUNTR/X's Golden. 'For the many music fans who have been to their enormous concerts, bought their merch and streamed their iconic songs, this will forever be the summer of Oasis – but K-pop's superstars are certainly giving the Gallaghers a run for their money.' The last time a track from an animated picture topped the singles chart was in 2022, when We Don't Talk About Bruno from Disney's Encanto became the first original song from a Disney animation to become a UK number 1 single.

Ozzy Osbourne's cheeky farewell ode to one of most controversial career moments: 'He's had the last laugh'
once said he didn't want to be remembered as the man who bit off the head of a bat... but the acclaimed musician's burial place had a cheeky nod to the infamous moment. The Black Sabbath frontman passed away on July 22 at age 76, and was laid to rest this week on the grounds of his mansion in England. But that means the singer was buried just a stones throw away from multiple bat boxes - man-made structures designed to provide shelter for bats. He had them installed in his Buckinghamshire abode in 2022 - a possible attempt to make amends years after he was slammed by animal rights activists for ripping the head off a bat with his teeth live on stage (which he later defended by saying he thought it was fake). A source close to the singer told the Daily Mail that the irony of him being laid to rest so close to the bat habitats did not go unnoticed amongst his loved ones. 'The subject of the bat boxes in the grounds has prompted some real laughter and joy - something for sure Oz would approve of,' they said. 'You cannot even make it up. He has spent decades being caught up in this drama around bats and animal rights groups - and then he is there at his final resting place in a space used to help encourage bats thrive in the UK countryside. 'It has prompted quite a few laughs and funny reactions. It is like Ozzy had the last laugh.' Ozzy and his wife, Sharon Osbourne, bought the 250-acre estate, known as Welders House, in 1993, and according to the insider, it was a place they often 'escaped' to when they needed a break from fame during the height of his career. '[The mansion] had been where he and Sharon escaped from the showbiz world in the 1990s and 2000s to simply focus on family,' they explained. 'Once again it showed how despite all the amazing rock and roll success and celebrity he had, in his heart he was always a family man.' The Daily Mail has reached out to the Osbourne family for comment. Ozzy announced that he planned moved back to Welders House permanently in 2022 after years of spending most of his time living in Los Angeles. At the time, he had the home revamped, adding the bat boxes, as well as a 'rehabilitation wing' following his Parkinson's disease diagnosis in 2020. Planning documents for a health and welfare exercise suite, a swimming pool, and decking were submitted to the local council in March that year. But his battle with Parkinson's and a crippling fall that exacerbated his old quad bike injury are thought to have delayed his return to the UK. Ozzy famously bit the head off a bat after a fan bizarrely hurled the animal on stage during a Black Sabbath show in January 1982. It's been debated whether or not the creature was alive at the time; Ozzy has claimed that it was and that he needed to be rushed to the hospital for a rabies shot, while audience member Mark Neal, who alleges he was the one to throw it, has insisted it was dead. Either way, Ozzy's mouth was seen filling with blood as the audience watched on in horror, and he never lived down the shocking incident. He has been repeatedly asked about the moment over the years, and he has long insisted that he initially thought the bat was a rubber toy rather than a live animal before he bit it. During a chat with the Los Angeles Daily News in 2020, Ozzy admitted he was worried the moment would become part of his legacy. 'It's not the way I want to be remembered [but] I know I'll be the man that bit the head off the bat,' he said.
