'Gorgeous' designer perfume gets shoppers 'so many compliments'
There's currently an offer on the floral scent allowing shoppers to snap up two free gifts
LookFantastic is now stocking Gucci Beauty and when buying full size 100ml perfumes from the range shoppers can look forward to a complimentary beauty pouch and 10ml bottle of Gucci Gorgeous Gardenia.
The Gucci Gorgeous Flora range is now all available on the beauty giant with the free gifts available for anyone who spends £125 on the brand. The 10ml bottles come in at £26 while the 30ml are £70 so there is the option to invest in all four scents to qualify for the beauty pouch for those who don't want to commit to a full sized 100ml bottle for £138.
As the name suggests all the perfumes derive inspiration from different flowers although our team perfume expert's personal favourite is Gorgeous Orchid. It blends together vibrant vanilla notes with a fresh marine ozonic accord. Britney Fantasy Intimate Fantasy (£49, Boots) is another example of an ozonic gourmand but it does have more of a fruity touch.
Jada Jones said: "I'm not always drawn to floral scents, with my personal tastes definitely sitting more in the gourmand perfume space, so I was pleasantly surprised with Gorgeous Orchid which is inspired by the vanilla orchid. I love vanilla scents, to the point that my friends and family all tease me about how obsessed I am.
"There is definitely a floral touch to this perfume but it's very wearable. I don't reach for this everyday but it's a great option for those looking for the sweet spot between floral and gourmand. The longevity really impressed me, if I put this on in the morning I can still smell it that night, which is quite refreshing when I've been having to top up Ariana Grande's Lovenotes (£60, Superdrug) hourly."
It's not just Jada that's a fan, Gorgeous Orchid has pulled in over 1,900 five-star ratings on LookFantastic. One shopper said: "I love this my new favourite fragrance, obsessed with it now. I received so many compliments whilst wearing it and it lasts so long."
Another, who isn't usually drawn to florals, said: "I'm not usually a fan of floral perfumes, but this has surprised me. It smells fresh and clean and different to anything else on the market. I had two compliments on it both really positive! It's definitely going on my Christmas list."
One shopper found the scent to be overpoweringly floral, saying: "Not the one for me. It's very sweet which I like but I found it very over powering with the floral scent. Definitely has long lasting staying power. If you like a floral scent you will love this."
One shopper even claimed to find a coconut water note, writing: "This fragrance is a sweet floral with a bright opening that feels a bit aquatic. After a while it turns into a light floral that is slightly powdery, and I can detect a coconut water scent as well that almost reminds me of the beach. It's a lovely designer fragrance if you like bright and soft floral scents."

Brandy and Monica reveal who inspired their hit song The Boy Is Mine
Brandy and Monica revealed the inspiration behind their hit duet, The Boy Is Mine, 25 years after releasing the song. The pair reflected on their collaborative track, which won a Grammy following its release nearly three decades ago, after announcing their upcoming, co-headlining tour of the same name. While making a joint appearance on Wednesday's episode of The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, the duo discussed the making of the 1998 track. The late night talk show host asked Brandy, 46, if it was true that she got the idea for the concept from watching The Jerry Springer Show. She confirmed it and explained: 'Yes, I was a huge Jerry Springer fan, and one of the topics was, "The boy is mine." I'm like, "Oh my god, song idea. Let's do this."' After getting the inspiration, Brandy said she knew she wanted to get Monica, 44, to work with her on the song — which was also a source of inspiration for the same-name song on Ariana Grande 's latest album Eternal Sunshine. 'I was always a fan of hers and I wanted to work with her, so I called her up and asked her to be a part of the song, and she said yes,' she recalled. 'And here we are.' When they started working together, Monica said she told Brandy that she thought people would believe they were fighting over a man because of the nature of the song. 'That was the point,' Brandy then added. The Jerry Springer Show was also included in a snippet of the original music video accompanying Brandy and Monica's beloved duet. At the beginning of the video, Brandy is seen watching the daytime talk show that ran from 1991 to 2018. Then, Monica is seen changing the channel. When Brandy changes it back, the two squabble over the TV right before the song starts. The song was an instant hit and spent 13 weeks at the top of the Billboard charts as well as winning the dynamic duo a Grammy. After getting the inspiration, Brandy said she knew she wanted to get Monica, 44, to work with her on the song — which was also a source of inspiration for the same-name song on Ariana Grande 's latest album Eternal Sunshine Many years later, the pair released another duet titled It All Belongs to Me in 2012. After releasing their second duet, the pair were rumoed to be in a longstanding feud. When Ariana Grande asked them to join in on her remix, they agreed and credited the pop star for reuniting them again and bridging the gap. Last year, Brandy and Monica earned their 13th and fifth Grammy nominations, respectively, due to their features on Grande's The Boy Is Mine remix. Last summer, Monica said that 'the process of the new collaboration did a lot of closing the gaps.' She told ET: 'When you properly communicate something, you can find not only the resolutions and solutions to problems, but sometimes you find that there weren't ever problems, just consistent miscommunications. It made it a lot easier just to talk.' Earlier this week, the R&B icons announced their first-ever joint tour, more than 25 years after releasing The Boy Is Mine. The pair will be going on a 24-city arena tour alongside opening acts Kelly Rowland, Muni Long and Jamal Roberts of American Idol. Their tour will kick off on October 16 in Cincinnati, Ohio. And the pair will perform in cities across the United States before closing out the American tour in Houston, Texas on December 7.

Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom's split blamed on 'curse' involving superstar singer as fans raise concerns
Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom's shock split has been blamed on a wild fan theory, The Rosé curse. Earlier this week it was reported that the singer, 40, and the Hollywood actor, 48, had gone their separate ways after nine years together following much speculation about their romance. And in the wake of the break-up, social media has gone wild as the recurring theory about the curse of Rosé has resurfaced online. The Rosé curse is a fan-created online joke-turned-meme that says any big star who takes a photo with BLACKPINK singer Rosé, 28, will soon experience a breakup with their partner. There is no evidence that the New Zealand and South Korean singer has anything to do with the demise of celebrity relationships, but that hasn't stopped fans making playful observations about the coincidences of Rosé's snaps. Taking to X, fans shared snaps of Katy meeting Rosé backstage at the Concert Le Gala Des Pieces in January, with many remarking that she had 'struck again' amid the split. While others penned: 'Oh nooo. Not the Rosé curse coming back faster than Blackpink's comeback teaser.' 'Omg the Rosé curse is back?' 'Soooo Katy and Orlando broke up. The rose curse is real'. 'No one can make me believe the rose curse isn't real idc.' Other celebrity couples that have allegedly fallen victim to the Rosé curse include Taylor Swift and Joe Alwin, Kendall Jenner and Devin Booker, Sabrina Carpenter and Shawn Mendes and Ariana Grande and Dalton Gomez. Gigi Hadid and Zayn Malik and Florence Pugh and Zach Braff were also thought to have been affected. In 2021, Rosé - whose real name is Park Chae-young - shared a glam Instagram story with supermodel Gigi Hadid. The duo stunned in the post taken in September - reshared by the X account Pop Base - enjoying an evening at the Met Gala. Several fans expressed their concerns that the curse was 'real' amid Orlando and Katie's break-up Just one month later, sources revealed that she and Zayn Malik split up after first sparking romance rumours in 2015. Meanwhile in 2022, Rosé had a fangirl moment as she posed for a photo with one of her favourite artists, Taylor Swift, at the VMAs. The Eras Tour hitmaker too appeared starstruck by the K-pop idol as she danced along to their hit Pink Venom - which the group performed live. Just a few months later, in April 2023 rumours first swirled that she and actor Joe Alwyn broke up after six years together. Florence Pugh and Rosé also had fans swooning as they posed alongside one another at the opening of Tiffany & Co.'s Brand Exhibition - Vision & Virtuosity - in London in June, 2022. The pair were in visibly high spirits as they made a glamorous appearance and laughed while embracing each other in the photos. Just one month later, sources revealed that she and Zayn Malik split up after first sparking romance rumours in 2015 Another celeb which seemed to fall victim to the curse was Kendall Jenner - who grinned for a photo with Rosé at the 2022 LACMA ART+FILM GALA, in the November of that year Just two months later, Florence Pugh revealed that she and Zach Braff had split up earlier in the year during a Harper's Bazaar interview. Another celeb which seemed to fall victim to the curse was Kendall Jenner - who grinned for a photo with Rosé at the 2022 LACMA ART+FILM GALA, in the November of that year. Later that same month, the reality show star was said to have split from basketball player Devin Booker after reportedly striking up a romance in 2020. News of Bloom and Perry's breakup was confirmed by sources on Thursday after weeks of rampant speculation. The couple first got together in 2016 before splitting up and getting back together in 2018. Bloom proposed to Perry in 2019 and they welcomed daughter Daisy Dove, now four-years-old, in August 2020. Rumors of 'tensions' between Perry and Orlando began to surface earlier this month. Several outlets alleged that the singer's poor-performing album 143 and the mocking she faced following her Blue Origin space trip — as well as her ongoing Lifetimes Tour — put 'stress' on the relationship. The Teenage hitmaker has also recently been seen without her engagement ring in recent weeks. Furthering the speculation, it was confirmed that Bloom would be attending Sanchez and Bezos' wedding without Perry, who is on tour in Australia.
