Nvidia's RTX 50 series laptop GPUs are expected to start shipping in March 2025, but retailers and OEMs are already putting up listings with prices. We've already seen laptops equipped with RTX 5070 Ti, RTX 5080, and RTX 5090 graphics cards go live on the Polish e-commerce website Dream Machines. And in January Best Buy listings for RTX 50 series laptops paired with either an Intel Arrow Lake-HX or AMD Dragon Range Refresh CPU, were spotted, with prices ranging from $1,899 to $4,199.
Aside from these retailers, we've also started seeing some major laptop manufacturers going live with RTX 50-series laptop listings. For example, if you check the Asus U.S. store page, you'll find 16 laptops listed with Blackwell GPUs, ranging from the RTX 5070 to the RTX 5090. Unfortunately, only six of these laptops have price tags at the time of writing, with the most affordable being the ROG Strix Scar 16 which sports an RTX 5080 laptop GPU and an Intel Core Ultra 9 275HX priced at $3,199.99.

Those interested in the other end of the spectrum will have the ROG Strix Scar 18 which is powered by the RTX 5090 laptop GPU and the same processor for $4,299.99. HP is also offering a single laptop model, the HP Omen Max, that comes with an Nvidia GeForce RTX 5080 Laptop GPU and an Intel Core Ultra 9 275HX CPU, priced at $2,699.99 at Best Buy.
If we look through the table above, the price for RTX 5090 laptops ranges from $3,999.99 to $4,199.99, while those with an RTX 5080 are priced between $2,699.99 and $3,399.99. Lastly, an RTX 5070 Ti laptop will set you back by $1,899.99. These prices stay on track with Nvidia's pricing for these laptop GPUs, which shows how much GPU prices have inflated through the years. Gaming laptops powered by an RTX 40-series laptop GPU debuted in 2023, with enthusiast-class laptops equipped with an RTX 4080 starting at $1,999 — a nearly 35% increase in pricing based on currently available data.
Hopefully, we will find more laptop models equipped with RTX 50-series Blackwell GPUs as March 2025 comes nearer. This should deliver more competition and maybe lower prices for consumers. But given that the laptop GPU itself is priced so high, it's unlikely that we'll get an 'enthusiast-class' laptop with an RTX 5080 and up for less than $2,500.

Hold fire if you're shopping for a drawing tablet – new Wacom Cintiqs are coming

When you buy through links on our articles, Future and its syndication partners may earn a commission. Wacom Cintiq tablets have long been a fixture in our pick of the best drawing tablets, and we'll soon have a new trio of devices to review. The Japanese company has today announced the launch of a new generation of Cintiq pen displays with a thinner builds and higher resolution. We're told the new Wacom Cintiq 16, Cintiq 24 and Cintiq 24 Touch will have a slim, fanless design to reduce noise and make them more practical for moving about. The 24-inch models will be nearly half the thickness of the previous 22-inch mode at just 21mm. Image 1 of 2 Image 2 of 2 The new Cintiq 16 gets a resolution boost from 1,920 x 1,080 to 2,560 x 1,600 pixels. The 24in models (pen-only or pen + touch) have QHD resolution of 2560 x 1440 and will come with an adjustable stand. All three models support USB-C connection. They'll still use the existing Pro Pen 3. Direct bonding minimises the gap between pen tip and cursor. They'll also inherit the more expensive Cintiq Pro range's anti-glare etched glass, replacing the previous models' film to better reduce reflection and eye fatigue. Image 1 of 2 Image 2 of 2 Wacom's also announced the launch of a new Pro Pen 3 Wood Grip as an optional extra. It says this provides a more natural feel in the hand. The tablets are slated for released in the northern hemisphere summer, so I presume within the next couple of moths. You'll be able to learn more at the Wacom websit. Prediction: This Artificial Intelligence (AI) Stock Could Hit a $6 Trillion Valuation by 2030

Nvidia is currently the world's largest company by market cap. The semiconductor giant still has a lot of room for growth, considering the potential investment in artificial intelligence (AI) infrastructure over the next five years. Nvidia has additional catalysts coming into play that could allow it to sustain terrific growth and hit a $6 trillion valuation in the future. 10 stocks we like better than Nvidia › Nvidia (NASDAQ: NVDA) is the most valuable company in the world as of this writing, with a market cap of $3.4 trillion, and it has reached this position thanks to a tremendous rally of more than 1,500% in its stock price in the past five years. Investors will now be wondering if Nvidia has the potential to deliver more upside over the next five years following this phenomenal run. However, don't be surprised to see this semiconductor giant's shares jump higher and attain a $6 trillion valuation by the end of the decade. Let's take a closer look at the factors that could help Nvidia hit that milestone by 2030. Robust demand for Nvidia's AI chips has been the biggest reason behind the stock's terrific surge in recent years. The good part is that Nvidia continues to generate a massive amount of revenue from its AI chip business despite tackling headwinds such as export restrictions to key markets like China. This was evident from Nvidia's latest results for the first quarter of fiscal 2026 (which ended on April 27). The company's revenue shot up 69% year over year to $44.1 billion during the quarter, even though it lost $2.5 billion in revenue in fiscal Q1, owing to the restrictions on sales of its chips to China. The chipmaker also incurred a $4.5 billion inventory charge to write down the value of chips that were intended for the Chinese market. Moreover, Nvidia's fiscal Q2 revenue would take an $8 billion hit on account of the China-related restrictions. But the good part is that the company's guidance for the current quarter still calls for a 50% year-over-year increase in revenue, while its earnings are expected to increase by 44% despite anticipated loss in Chinese revenue. CEO Jensen Huang admitted on Nvidia's latest earnings conference call that the $50 billion Chinese market is now effectively closed to U.S. players such as Nvidia. Even then, analysts have increased their revenue estimates. That's not surprising, as Nvidia still has a massive sales opportunity in AI chips beyond the Chinese market. It is now entering new markets such as Saudi Arabia to build AI factories "powered by several hundred thousand of Nvidia's most advanced GPUs over the next five years," according to the company. Additionally, massive AI infrastructure projects such as Stargate, from which Nvidia has started benefiting already, could help it mitigate the lost opportunity in China. Management consulting firm McKinsey & Company predicts that AI-capable data centers could require investments worth a whopping $5.2 trillion by 2030 to build enough computing power to handle training and inference workloads. So investors would do well to look past the China-related problems that Nvidia is currently facing, as the broader opportunity in the AI data center market should be lucrative enough to help the chipmaker keep growing at a healthy pace for the next five years. Moreover, Nvidia is showing no signs of losing its grip over the AI chip market. Its data center revenue shot up an impressive 73% year over year to $39 billion in the previous quarter. That was miles ahead of Broadcom's $4 billion AI revenue and AMD's $3.7 billion data center sales in the previous quarter, the two chipmakers that are considered to be the closest to Nvidia in the AI chip race. Nvidia's data center growth was higher than the 57% growth recorded by AMD in this segment and close to the 77% growth in Broadcom's AI revenue, even though it has a much larger revenue base. This is a testament to just how popular Nvidia's AI chips are, with the company's latest generation of Blackwell processors already a major hit among cloud computing giants within two quarters of hitting the market. Even better, Nvidia has moved past just selling AI hardware. It also offers access to models that help customers train and deploy AI agents, along with other enterprise AI applications that allow customers to improve the efficiency of their large language models (LLMs). Its enterprise platforms are gaining traction in diverse industries such as cybersecurity and restaurants where companies are deploying Nvidia's solutions to streamline their operations or to build agentic AI applications. All this indicates that investors shouldn't miss the forest for the trees, as Nvidia's long-term prospects aren't dependent on just China. There is still a lot of room for growth in the AI chip market, and the company's diversification into other areas such as enterprise AI applications and automotive should be enough to power remarkable growth over the next five years. Nvidia is currently trading at 23 times sales. While that's three times the U.S. technology sector's average price-to-sales ratio, the company's dominant position in AI chips, the prospects of this market, and the other catalysts that are coming into play help justify that valuation. We have already seen in the chart that Nvidia's top line is expected to jump to $292 billion in three years. If it maintains its sales multiple at that time, it will be able to easily surpass a $6 trillion valuation in just three years, representing a big jump from current levels. However, if we assume Nvidia's top-line growth slows after fiscal 2028 to an annual rate of 15% in fiscal 2029 and 2030 from the 31% compound annual growth rate that it is forecast to clock between fiscal 2026 and 2028 (using fiscal 2025 revenue of $130.5 billion as the base), its annual revenue could jump to $386 billion after five years. If Nvidia trades at a discounted 15 times sales at that time, it could still hit a $6 trillion valuation by 2030. So, investors can still consider buying this AI stock in anticipation of more upside in the long run, as it seems capable of maintaining its healthy growth rate over the next five years. Broadcom could blow past Nvidia, expert predicts

Broadcom could blow past Nvidia, expert predicts originally appeared on TheStreet. One of the tech sector's most dominant players just reported strong earnings for Q2 2025, beating Wall Street estimates. Broadcom () has performed well since the start of the year, recovering from some April volatility and demonstrating strong resilience. Now the multi-faceted tech company, known for producing custom silicon chips and infrastructure software products, looks well-positioned to continue rising. 💵💰💰💵 Despite all its success since the start of the artificial intelligence (AI) boom, Broadcom remains consistently overshadowed by Nvidia () , the chipmaking industry's undisputed leader. But as the company prepares to enter a new quarter, multiple investing experts have flagged it as a likely winner in the coming year. For months, AI investors have wondered when and if Broadcom can step out of its rival's shadow and establish itself as a market leader. Now, two financial experts believe that day may be approaching. Earlier this week, TheStreet's Charley Blaine predicted that Broadcom's earnings could produce shock and awe, urging investors not to dismiss the stock's year-to-date (YTD) performance. Now the company has posted them, coming in above Wall Street estimates on earnings-per-share (EPS) and issuing strong revenue shows progress from the chipmaker as it maneuvers to stay ahead in a highly volatile market and compete with other semiconductor producers. Many companies have found it difficult to hold their own against Nvidia, primarily due to the company's popularity among hyperscalers, firms that provide cloud services or large-scale data centers. Freedom Capital Markets Chief Global Strategist Jay Woods recently addressed Broadcom's prospects, though, noting that Nvidia hasn't been able to lead the industry in the way that investors need. As he sees it, this may create a key opportunity for Broadcom. 'The semiconductor company has grown mightily in Nvidia's shadows for years now,' he states. 'Shares have rallied just over 500% from its 2022 lows, which pales [in comparison] to the 1250+% rally in Nvidia. However, over the past 52 weeks, AVGO shares are leading up 84% compared to Nvidia's 15% gain.' Woods adds that Broadcom is 'basically Nvidia's baby brother,' with a slightly lower trillion-dollar market cap and a place in exchange-traded funds (ETFs) such as the VanEck Semiconductor ETF SMH and the Technology Sector ETF XLK, as well as the Nasdaq 100 index. He notes that following Nvidia's earnings, Broadcom has an opportunity to step out of the larger chipmaker's shadow and lead semiconductor stocks higher. However, the strategist adds that many large-cap tech stocks have struggled to reach new highs lately, citing Microsoft () as a key example. More Tech Stocks News: Veteran trader turns heads with Netflix comments Tempus AI hits back at scathing short report Salesforce makes a big bet on booming tech market While AVGO stock has dipped slightly since the recent earnings report, the company's leaders seem convinced that AI demand will help it continue growing. 'We continue to make excellent progress on the multiyear journey of enabling our three customers and four prospects to deploy custom AI accelerators,' states CEO Hock Tan. Following the Broadcom earnings, Wall Street sentiment toward AVGO stock has only improved. BofA Securities analyst Vivek Arya recently raised his price target to $300 per share, urging investors to focus on the company AI's surge rather than speculation based on quarterly results.'We rate Broadcom Buy due to its high-quality diversified exposure to secular product cycles in the smartphone, cloud data center, telecom, and enterprise storage markets,' Arya states. 'Additionally, with 45%+ EBITDA/FCF margins, Broadcom is among the most profitable semiconductor companies, which is likely to continue to drive strong cash returns.' His firm isn't the only one that remains bullish on Broadcom. Seaport Research reiterated a Buy rating on AVGO on June 4, citing the company's new Tomahawk 6 as a likely growth catalyst. The company describes this new AI chip as a 'turning point in AI infrastructure design,' highlighting unprecedented demand from both its customers and partners. Laffer Tengler Investments CEO Nancy Tengler also highlights this as a likely step forward, highlighting it as 'another example of staying on the forefront of innovation.' She adds that in her firm's opinion, AVGO stock's valuation is full but still fair, even after its recent could blow past Nvidia, expert predicts first appeared on TheStreet on Jun 7, 2025 This story was originally reported by TheStreet on Jun 7, 2025, where it first appeared.
