Music fans are raving over the new addition – but you'll have to dive deep into Spotify settings to find it.

It's linked to the Smart Shuffle feature, which landed back in 2023.
The feature is meant to shuffle in recommended tracks when you're listening to dedicated playlists – even ones you've made yourself.
Spotify promised that the feature would "breathe new life" into playlists, and give you a "fresh mix" every time.
But if you didn't want to use Smart Shuffle, you'd have to tap several times to switch it off.

Now you can simply turn Smart Shuffle off altogether, letting you enjoy a pure shuffle mode that only uses songs from the playlist.
And you can still use "linear" playback to just listen to the songs in playlist order, if you prefer.
MUSIC TO THEIR EARS?
Spotify made a big announcement when the feature first launched, even forcing it as the default option on millions of users.
The streaming giant justified the decision by saying: "Our users love creating playlists to reflect key moments in their lives or soundtrack moments that matter.
Most read in Tech
"These often become a listener's most-streamed playlist for the first several months after creation.
"But over time they stream these playlists less frequently in favor of new music or mixes."
How to save money on Spotify
The company said that Smart Shuffle would include "perfectly tailored suggestions".
But Spotify has clearly listened to user fan reaction, now offering an easier way to avoid Smart Shuffle.
And Spotify listeners are overjoyed, with a post revealing the feature on Reddit earning more than a thousand "upvotes".
One said that Smart Shuffle "isn't that smart", adding: "They just recommend popular songs that I don't want to hear over and over again. Thank you for this!"

Another said: "YEEEEES oh my god your post just made my day, thank you!"
One added: "Omg????? I've been waiting for this day for years", while a different user cheered: "Immediately turning that trash off."
And another one of the dozens of Spotify fans replying to the post simply wrote: "Thank god! FINALLY!"
TURN OFF SMART SHUFFLE
Turning off Smart Shuffle is now very easy – if the update has reached your phone.

Kilkenny singer songwriter to celebrate release of third single with debut London gig
'Light It Up' is out on Friday August 15 and available to pre-order on iTunes and Spotify now Today at 07:32 A singer-songwriter from Co Kilkenny is releasing his third single, Light It Up, this weekend. Slieverue man Patrick Dowling (24) wrote this ode to a lads night out and said the song is set to be a radio favourite over the coming weeks. In under three minutes, Patrick brings the listener on the journey of an unexpected pub crawl with friends and invites the listener to come along for the adventure. 'This is one of my happier songs,' said Patrick. 'It's about celebrating getting through the week with your mates, being spontaneous and leaning into being a giddy twenty-something year old. "I hope it's a song people will relate to, see themselves and their friend groups in it, and if I'm lucky, play it loud as the summer winds down.' Patrick is becoming known for his high-end visual materials focusing on the south east of Ireland through the support of his frequent collaborator, Alana Daly Mulligan. Following their successful release of a music video for Colossal, the pair are back again producing short films and videos that celebrate Waterford's local culture and pub scene. 'We were so fortunate to have such amazing support from O'Sullivan's in Waterford who kindly let us use their beautiful space to film our music promos,' said Alana, the filmmaker behind the visuals. "It again goes to show the generosity of Waterford people supporting their own, and speaks to the wealth of interesting cultural spaces we have in our city.' 'It's fantastic to be involved,' added Billy O'Sullivan, publican behind O'Sullivan's. 'We're a new face on the block but not really, there's been O'Sullivan's in this space since 1895 and we're keen to support our local artists, musicians and celebrate local culture. "When Patrick walked into O'Sullivan's a few months ago, I was bowled over by his voice, presence and have come to know him to be a real gent, so when him and his team approached me about using O'Sullivan's as the setting for the song, it was a no-brainer.' Learn more Following the release of Light It Up, Patrick will be embarking on a small London tour, featuring one of London's most exclusive pubs, The Devonshire in Soho. 'I'm really excited to be in London,' said Patrick. 'This song in many ways is about that longing for a night out back home and myself and Alana are working on some very exciting things while we're visiting.' Patrick Dowling's third single, Light It Up, is out on Friday August 15. The song has been produced, mixed and mastered by Gavin Doyle, with images and visuals by Alana Daly Mulligan. The track is available to pre-order on iTunes and Spotify now.

I spotted my pregnant pal's fiancé in Bonnie Blue documentary & exposed his dirty secret but he called ME a homewrecker
A WOMAN who spotted her heavily pregnant friend's fiancé in the Bonnie Blue documentary was labelled a "homewrecker" by the man when she exposed his dirty secret. She explained that she wanted to tune into the Channel 4 show - titled 1,000 Men And Me: The Bonnie Blue Story - to see if there's a "human side" to the OnlyFans creator. 5 A woman was left in a difficult dilemma after spotting her pregnant friend's fiancé in the Bonnie Blue documentary Credit: Getty 5 She tuned into the Channel 4 show to see if there was a "human side" to the OnlyFans creator Credit: Channel 4 5 But she couldn't believe it when she saw her friend's fiancé taking part in Bonnie's disgusting stunt, when she slept with 1,057 men in 12 hours Credit: Channel 4 One thing the documentary covered was Bonnie's disgusting but record-breaking event, during which she claims to have had sex with 1,057 men in 12 hours. And while the programme was shocking enough, it became even more so for the woman when she realised she recognised one of the men who took part in the vile stunt. While she "didn't believe it at first", upon a second watch she realised it was "undeniably" him - with his tattoos confirming his identity. She and some other friends who had also seen the documentary were then left in a difficult situation, and spent hours whether or not to tell their other pal, considering she's eight months pregnant with his baby. Read more about Bonnie Blue BLUE'S BACKLASH C4's Bonnie Blue documentary hit by Ofcom complaints from furious viewers "In my opinion, if someone cheats like that it's not their first time and I rather lose her friendship for telling straight away than her finding out I knew and hid it," she said. "Because let's be real - when you tell someone news like that there's a huge chance they'll hate you not the cheater." Despite her fears, she eventually decided to break the news to her friend. "The minute she looked at the picture she knew it was him and broke down," she sighed. "I expected her to be angry at me but she thanked me for being honest as multiple people have hinted that she should watch the documentary instead of being up front like I was." Following her shocking situation, she drove her friend to her mum's house, where she apparently confronted her man about his part in Bonnie's foul stunt. Viewers outraged at Bonnie Blue claiming she is a 'community worker' as she sleeps with 1,000 men in explosive new doc "He has since been blowing up my phone calling me a evil little homewrecker who ruined not only his life - calling me out on social media for trying ruin his relationship and wanting his unborn daughter to grow up without a dad," she continued. Not only that, but her other friends are angry with her for telling the pregnant woman straight away "and not waiting till she had the baby incase the stress would cause issues to her health". In an update on the Reddit post, she admitted the man wasn't the only one from their friend group to have taken part in Bonnie's 12-hour long sex session - her own boyfriend of three years was another. "I don't want to hear his explanation I feel so humiliated and physically sick," she said, before adding that "another friend's husband" also took part. In response to one comment on the post questioning the timing of the different events, she added: "He was part of the 1000 Bonnie blue line up in January they got engaged on Christmas Day and my friend would have found out around January she was pregnant (she didn't tell us till she was 3 months pregnant). "I really hope he was decent enough to be careful for my friend's sake." Who is Bonnie Blue? Born in May 1999, Bonnie - whose real name is Tia Billinger - grew up in a small Derbyshire village, and attended the Friesland School in the village of Sandiacre. She has two half-siblings - a sister and a brother - who have always remained out of the public eye. She never knew her biological father, and considers stepfather Nicholas Elliott her dad. Bonnie also became something of a dance star in her local area, and competed in the British Street Dance Championships alongside her sister back in 2015. She also had a part-time job at Poundstretcher as a teenager. After school, she began working in recruitment. In October 2022, Bonnie married Oliver Davidson, who she had started dating when she was just 15. Once they were married, they moved to Australia, where Bonnie continued working in recruitment. However, it was in Australia that she decided to pursue a different line of work, and tried her luck as a 'cam girl' - crediting Oliver for giving her the confidence to enter the adult entertainment world. She quickly made a name for herself in the industry, and was soon making £5,000 a week. But while her work life was going from strength to strength, her relationship was crumbling, and she and Oliver split after almost a decade together. She moved over to OnlyFans following her cam girl success, and once again found fame on there. She quickly became a favourite on the site, especially thanks to her "niche" of sleeping with young male students - such as when she bedded 158 students during Nottingham Trent University's freshers week in September 2024. Bonnie is now estimated to be worth £3 million, and makes around £600,000 a month on OnlyFans. Her family are also supportive of her work, with mum Sarah Billinger even claiming she's her daughter's PA, and helps clean up after Bonnie's events - as well as handing out condoms to young clients. In January 2025, Bonnie claimed to have broken the world record for the most amount of sex in 12 hours, after apparently sleeping with 1,057 men from 1pm to 1am at a secret London event. "Your friend needs to be tested ASAP," someone else pointed out. "A lot of STIs are dangerous for the fetus, and the sooner they know, the more they can do." "Luckily they test for those during pregnancy but if she contracted them DURING her pregnancy they may have missed them," another agreed. The shocking documentary revealed behind-the-scenes footage for Bonnie's desperate challenge where she aimed to sleep with 1,000 men in 12 hours - with Channel 4 airing scenes of her naked and having sex with various men. Viewers were left raging as they watched the X-rated moment and took to the regulator to complain about the explicit scenes. In total the documentary received 160 complaints. Bonnie - real name Tia Billinger - also referred to herself as a "community worker" in the show, as she said she sees herself as someone who is teaching men how to have better sex. In the same breath, she argued that she's 'not a world educator' and can't be held responsible for the culture of sexualisation our children are growing up in. 5 While lots of the men wore balaclavas to conceal their identities, her pal's husband-to-be was identifiable by his unique tattoos Credit: Channel 4
