Corrie confirms what Carla is up to in ITVX release - and it's unexpected
Carla Connor (Alison King) has been concerned about girlfriend Lisa Swain (Vicky Myers) in recent Coronation Street scenes, and tonight's episode revealed exactly what she planned to do about it.
Lisa has been struggling since the death of colleague Craig Tinker brought back painful memories of wife Becky's murder, which have affected her ability to do her job.
After making a mistake at work, which resulted in Brody Michaelis (Ryan Mulvey) suffering a seizure while in custody, Lisa was relegated to desk duty and ordered to attend a course of therapy sessions.
Unfortunately, she didn't react well to the mention of Becky during her first session, and has since been tormented by the unanswered questions she has about the events surrounding her death.
Last week, Lisa shared her fears with Carla about the allegations that Becky was a corrupt cop, as she worried that she didn't really know her wife at all.
In tonight's episode, when Lisa confessed to Carla that she was concerned that she may never be able to return to active duty, Carla decided to do whatever she could to help Lisa get her life back on track.
When Michael Bailey (Ryan Russell) borrowed Carla's laptop, he stumbled upon a request for a visiting order that she had written to Logan Radcliffe.
Logan has been in prison since the murder of his younger brother Mason, but his brother Matty also previously alluded to them both being involved in Becky's murder.
Michael was horrified by the request, and quickly confronted Carla, reminding her that Logan had previously attacked her and left her with serious health issues .
However, Carla was determined to help Lisa, and explained to Michael that she wanted her girlfriend to be able to move on with her life, and if that meant getting answers from Logan, then so be it. More Trending
By the time Carla got home, Lisa appeared to be feeling much more certain, as she revealed to Carla that she was going to forget the past and focus on her future and getting her career back on track.
With Lisa determined to move on, Carla sent Michael a text admitting that he was right, and promising not to visit Logan.

Love Island host Maya Jama shares true feelings over Shakira and Harry reunion
Love Island 2025's Harry was surprised to hear what host Maya Jama really thought of him and Shakira reuniting and making it to the final after recent comments on the series Love Island host Maya Jama wasted no time in telling runners-up Shakira and Harry what she really thought of their romance during the live final on Monday night. The pair have been on and off and in multiple triangles throughout the series. But in the last week or so, the Love Island pair reconciled against all odds and seemed to be in it for good this time. Despite dividing viewers and co-stars with their latest reunion, host Maya surprised Harry with what she had to say on Monday. The presenter gave her true thoughts on the pair, having called out Harry for his behaviour towards Helena and others in a previous episode. It comes as Toni and Cach were announced as this year's winners, beating Shakira and harry to the prize money. Harry shared his shock though, as Maya admitted this time it felt different between them. Having seen clips of them together for the final week and the final day, she said watching them she could see it was genuine. She shared: "Well you both look very happy with each other. It's nice to see you two together in the final. You both look really... I dunno. The last couple of days I've been watching you like, this is cute. This is cute." Harry couldn't hide the shock on his face as he said: "Yeah? I never thought you'd say that to me, Maya." Agreeing, she replied: "I know, can you believe it? Me calling you cute. "But you are here in the final. There is obviously something the public have seen that is obviously giving love story." It comes as the All Stars series was confirmed to return to ITV2 and ITVX for a third series in 2026. Speaking on the renewal, Mike Spencer-Hayter, Creative Director at Lifted Entertainment, said: 'Love Island: All Stars has quickly established itself as a stand-alone hit, keeping fans of the show gripped by iconic Islanders from the past 10 years returning for another chance to find love. "We are very excited about series 3 and you can expect the twists and turns to continue in All Stars, after an incredible smash hit summer series.' The second series of Love Island: All Stars aired earlier this year, and was won by Gabby Allen and Case O'Gorman. The series also saw the reunion of Ronnie Vint and Harriet Blackmore - but it didn't come without complaints. In February, the show lodged over 2,000 complaints to Ofcom in its final week, as fans fumed at various stars for their "bullying behaviour". On February 12, there were 1,347 complaints, followed by 820 on February 11, 63 on February 13 and 57 on February 16. The February 12 episode saw Ekin-Su and Elma clash over the latter's comment about Ekin-Su and Curtis having the weakest connection. Things only got worse between the group when Ekin-Su had kissed Sammy during the heart rate challenge. During the argument, an angry Elma swore at Ekin-Su and Curtis and told them to "shut their mouths".

Love Island's Olivia Hawkins casts doubt on finalists' future outside the villa
EXCLUSIVE: Love Island winter 2023 bombshell Olivia Hawkins has given her verdict on the show's summer 2023 season, admitting she's 'been on the edge of her seat' Former Love Island bombshell Olivia Hawkins, who made her mark on the winter 2023 series, has given her verdict on this year's whirlwind of a season – and she's not holding back. Olivia didn't mince her words when asked about the current finalists, saying: 'I think it's been one of the most dramatic Love Island seasons I've ever watched. I've been on the edge of my seat, that's for sure, but I've thoroughly enjoyed it." "It's just a shame that there's no couple in the final that I think will last on the outside.' It comes after David Beckham ditches his iconic tiny trunks on yacht trip with Gordon Ramsay's family. READ MORE: Love Island's Tommy and Ben admit to kissing same girl at event as identity rumbled Reacting to the previous night's dumping, Olivia, speaking exclusively in association with Mecca Bingo, Olivia reflected on a summer packed with shocks, twists, and a finale that left fans split and admitted she felt conflicted by the outcome. 'Yes and no, I was very split. I agreed with some of their decisions, but I disagreed with some of the reasoning. I don't know how the only boyfriend and girlfriend couple could be in that position; they're just going to have to prove everyone wrong on the outside. I hope they do.' Olivia also defended Megan and Dejon, whose relationship has sparked fierce debate online. 'It was really 50/50. The people who spent the most time with Megan and Dejon obviously saw their connection. And yeah, they argue, but don't all couples? Just because the other couples aren't arguing doesn't mean they're compatible.' After returning for All Stars earlier this year, Olivia has firmly ruled out another appearance. 'It's a big no. I feel like I've done dating shows now and want to move on to the next thing. But I'll definitely still tune in.' All Stars has been confirmed to return to ITV2 and ITVX for a third series in 2026. The news comes hot on the heels of the finale of the 12th series, which was dubbed 'TV gold' by fans who hailed it 'iconic' with its summer of jaw-dropping twists and turns. Her love life is also heading in a new direction. 'It's good. I've got Celebs Go Dating coming out a week today, so people will get an update on how it's going. I can't give too much away, but I'm in a very happy place.' When it comes to keeping the show fresh, Olivia believes it's time for some tweaks. 'I liked that there were a lot of bombshells this season; it kept people guessing, but I think the format needs some changes. Maybe they could take inspiration from the USA version.' And there's one challenge in particular she's keen to bring back. 'More challenges would help. I miss the Twitter challenge, even though I hate Twitter. It's so toxic, but I loved that challenge. Bringing it back might not be great for Islanders' mental health, though.' Tonight, viewers will see either Toni and Cach, Yasmin and Jamie, Shakira and Harry or Ty and Angel take home the crown as the 12th series concludes.

King Charles appeared alongside him on a special episode in 2022. West Mercia Police confirmed charges against the dad of three, with a magistrates' court date set for next Wednesday. A spokesperson said: 'Jason Blades, 55, of Claverley in Shropshire, has been charged with two counts of rape. "He is due to appear at Telford magistrates' court on 13 August 2025.' Blades was awarded an MBE in 2022 for services to craft while King Charles appeared on the Repair Shop the same year. The TV star is currently awaiting trial on a separate charge of controlling and coercive behaviour against estranged wife Lisa-Marie Zbozen, which he has denied. Blades was arrested in May 2024 - on the same day fitness instructor Lisa announced her decision to end their 18-month marriage. In September Blades was charged. His actions allegedly caused Lisa 'to fear, on at least two occasions, that violence will be used against her'. The presenter pleaded not guilty to the charge — which relates to the period between January 1, 2023 and September 12, 2024 — at a court hearing last October. He is due to attend Worcester crown court today for a pre-trial review regarding the charge. Blades, who married Lisa in an intimate ceremony in Barbados in November 2022, took a break from filming following his arrest. Sources said the decision was also linked to the death of his uncle Richard Braithwaite, 72, in North London in March. A neighbour has been charged with murder. Blades was also dropped from The Repair Shop's live show, Secrets From The Barn, and quietly removed from promotional material. His Repair Shop co-star, horologist Steve Fletcher, revealed in March he had visited Blades while on a break from the live tour. Steve shared a photograph of himself with Blades on Instagram with the caption: 'In a break from our 'Secrets From the Barn' Tour, I popped in to see Jay the other day for a cup of tea and a lovely chat. 'It was great to catch up. Hope to see him again soon.' The BBC later replaced Blades with Roman Kemp for the Christmas special of the popular series. Blades also resigned as chancellor of Buckinghamshire New University 'with immediate effect' following the initial charge. It said: 'We thank Jay for his loyal service to the university and will be making no further comment.' As well as fronting The Repair Shop since 2017, Blades also hosted BBC shows including Money For Nothing and Jay Blades' Home Fix. He also appeared as a contestant on the Strictly Come Dancing Christmas special and fronted a special BBC documentary, Jay Blades: Learning to Read at 51. 4 King Charles appeared alongside Blades on a special episode in 2022 Credit: BBC/Ricochet/Ian West
