River Island launches €59 version of Kate Spade's sold out €475 pizza bag
This summer, high streets are being taken over by bedazzled and beaded handbags, and we're huge fans of River Island's latest collection of novelty handbags.
With the surge in 'Ibiza fashion', it's no surprise to see this accessory style gaining popularity, but we adore how certain retailers are taking a more playful approach.
Thanks to designer brands like Kate Spade and Anya Hindmarch, food, drink and branded handbags have become somewhat trendy, and River Island is one of the first affordable high street brands to hop on this trend.
From 7up to baked beans and blueberry matcha, the retailer has truly gone all out with its new range.
However, one handbag in particular caught our attention for being an incredible designer alternative. The bag in question is the Beige Premium Beaded Pizza Shoulder Bag, priced at€59.
Drawing inspiration from Kate Spade's now sold-out €475 pizza handbag and Judith Leiber's €6.5k pepperoni pizza clutch, River Island's offering is far more affordable, but still just as fun and novel, reports the Mirror.
The triangular shaped crossbody bag features detailed beadwork that depicts tomatoes, mushrooms and veggies, and of course, some hanging beads to represent a pizza slice cheese pull.

In saying that the tiles are so dark that I've probably just ruined the illusion of having space. "There's no more decisions after this bathroom until next year, I'm done." HOUSE THAT? Just last week, Muireann's mum, Marie, She shared a video of herself and her mum looking very excited while walking down the path in Muireann's estate over on Instagram. Muireann wrote: "She has arrived. First look and there's no wall in her bedroom." The former radio star said: "It's happening, she's about to see it."
